We had our pre-wedding shoot with Annabel on a Wednesday in May and here are my thoughts. Sometimes, people assume that photographers are just a pair of hands behind a piece of technology and that it is the number of megapixels or size of the lens that determines the outcome of your photos. However, with Annabel, she shows you that she is the magic-maker. Her demeanour, genuine straightforwardness and authenticity radiates with you and helps you to feel comfortable and relaxed for the lens. My fiancé and I felt at home during the entire experience. I don’t think many people would take the effort or time to get to know you and understand your wants and needs as Annabel would. The funniest part of our photoshoot was actually the most wholesome part. We went to a chilli pan mee store to have a photoshoot and Annabel helped us to get a session as none of us could speak Chinese. My fiancé then proceeded to spill chilli over her white dress and Annabel was very impressed with our attempt to respond to the Chinese waitress where we wished her a happy new year in response to have a happy blissful marriage. Long story short, I don’t think you can go wrong with Annabel and if there was a negative review about her, let the positive reviews steer you on the right track. We genuinely had one of the best times with her over our meals and our walks. Just take a chance and have a zoom call with her, you won’t regret it. Thank You Annabel Law. P.S. If you are a fitness couple that needs someone to climb a mountain or crawl into a valley for the wedding shots, Annabel is probably the only photographer for you.

My husband and I had engaged Bel for our 2-days wedding shoot. The wedding industry is currently filled with many experienced photographers, which makes it challenging to shortlist a photographer. ALPS stood out for us because its emphasis on the entire wedding process, rather than a focus on delivering nice wedding photographs. During the introductory session with Bel herself, she walked us through the entire wedding preparation process - including her suggestions on things to prioritise or not to. However, she was not pushy on her recommendations and highlighted that we had to agree as a couple ultimately as it would be our day. On the wedding days, Bel went above and beyond in her role as the photographer. We were particular about sticking to the timeline as we did not want guests to wait unnecessarily, Bel was able to be firm (albeit gently) on several occasions to ensure that we did not overrun for certain segments. She also took good care of me as a bride and helped to retie my hair, brought me water, ensured that I feel rested/relaxed etc. With her presence, I felt like I could focus on being more present and not worried about things going wrong. Thanks Bel and team for your professionalism! It was certainly a 10/10 experience with the No.1 wedding photographer in town. ;)

Coming from someone that’s particular with service delivery and constantly struggling with indecisiveness, you can trust me when I say that ALP has been more than a great help to both me and my fiancé throughout the whole wedding process! I still remember when I first met Bel on zoom, she was very helpful in recommending us ideas for our wedding, giving us tips on how to save costs and just being very cheerful the whole time. We decided to go with Bel and her team because we also felt that their energy matched ours and we loved how generous they were with sharing their wealth of knowledge in the wedding industry. You could feel their genuineness of wanting to help couples and this was something we admired a lot. We chose Bel to be our photographer for the pws and it was one of the best decisions ever because she was professional, efficient and made us feel comfortable the whole time. My fiancé and I recently travelled to Singapore from Australia for a pre-wedding photoshoot and I can’t praise Bel enough. 💖 From my first meeting with Bel via Zoom, she’s been charming, personable, friendly and helpful. To think that I only met Bel because the first photographer I booked bailed on me (that’s a whole other review lol) - the stars truly aligned! ✨❤️ On the day of the shoot, right from the start, she made us feel so at ease and her instructions were easy to follow. She also came by to our hotel to pass us the USB ❤️ My fiancé is a man who hates having his photos taken, and yet, he enjoyed the entire process, due to Bel’s expertise and her charming personality. Annabel and her team (Avril + videographer + makeup artist) helped us a lot, from our wedding planning to our solemnization day. We had to plan our ceremony within 2 months due personal reasons and had came across Annabel’s company in our search. Her team was able to meet our schedule despite being very last minute. We went ahead and signed up for the photography and videography package with the split day option. From the start, communicating with Annabel’s team was a breeze. They are always there to offer advice when we needed it. Annabel is also very resourceful when it comes to all the wedding details - venue, solemnizer, deco, sourcing for MUA etc. It was a great help for us as we were quite lost in the planning. She was our photographer on the solemnization day and had helped to organized the set up, directing my guests to get good shots (was very thankful as we didn’t had extra help that day). We managed to shot a little before and after the ceremony too. With a tight timeline, Annabel managed to expedite the photos for us 🙏🏻. Big thanks to Annabel, Avril and team!

I first chose ALP based off their beautiful portfolio and excellent reviews, to shoot our Chinese wedding in Singapore this September at Raffles Hotel. Annabel was excellent from the beginning, arranging a zoom call (as I am from the UK) and helped us to create a schedule for the day so that we could ensure everything was fitted in from what we wanted and what was important to my in laws. She was very patient and informative, also kindly explaining singapore and Chinese wedding customs to me as we are a mixed couple and how this would run on the day and be captured. On the wedding day itself, I was very fortunate to have Annabel herself (photographer), claudine (photographer) and John (Videographer) - despite them all having an early start and a long day, they had lots of energy throughout from the getting ready to gatecrash/photoshoot, tea ceremony and then to the dinner! Annabel even kindly allowed an extension so we could ensure all the group photos were completed. The ALP team really put me at ease as I was quite nervous and ensured that I looked and felt good throughout the shoots - which with the humidity I was grateful for! I was really impressed by how warm and friendly they all were to us and our families/friends throughout the day, it really helped their team work smoothly with our guests and Annabel was great at keeping things running on time without us having to worry which we appreciated as took a lot of pressure off us! :) The photos and video quality are excellent and our guests were delighted by the same day edit videos and photos - which had been captured beautifully!! We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them again and if we have future events in Singapore we would happily book with Annabel (ALP) again :) !!

When my husband and I first crossed path with Bel via Zoom, we were like two lost emojis in a sea of pixelated faces. We hadn't considered the pool of other photo/video options out there. But hey, who needs to shop around when you find your digital soulmate right? Taking that leap of faith with Bel turned out to be better than finding extra fries at the bottom of the bag! With Avril providing support, Bel (our AD photographer extraordinaire) and John (our AD videographer), were like the dynamic duo of joy, sprinkling happiness and capturing memories like wizards with cameras! Who needs modeling lessons with these two around! Getting sneak peeks on the actual day was like getting appetizers before a feast, but we were we blown away when we received the full set of photos! It was like unwrapping presents on Christmas morning, only better because every shot was a cherished memory captured with finesse and flair. Did a photoshoot with Annabel, she’s really nice, professional and she even did my hair for me and changed multiple hairstyles based on the mood and styles she wanted to portray. Recommended videographer for weddings! It even comes with some planning materials for couples that prefer to plan weddings on their own. Annabel will coordinate everything and we had John to do the shoots for us! They are really professional and helpful along the way too!

Engaged ALPS for our Wedding Day photography and videography and could not ask for a better experience with senior photographer Avril and videographer Wayne. 10/10 Highly recommended for a joyful and fuss-free experience! From the beginning, Annabel arranged our first zoom meeting to not only discuss what we would be getting for the package but also tips and advice from wedding invitation websites to the wedding itinerary. We got much more than expected and was assured of the quality of her service from them. The following months leading to the wedding, we put up questions and requirements for our shots which were always quickly answered by Annabel and her team. Annabel was also proactive in checking up on us for any updates to our planning progress. Avril helped to coordinate the flow of events on the wedding day and was engaging and spontaneous throughout the day to get the best shots for us and our families. She made time between activities to get as many photos shot as well. Was impressed by how meticulous and professional Avril was for the entire day - she knew where the best angles were and how to organise/position the guests for memorable shoots. They were really helpful in providing guidance on capturing the moments, and I loved how the initial set of photos turned out as exactly as I hoped; capturing beautifully the emotions at the point in time. I first came across Annabel and team when I was asking around for boudoir photoshoot services. They were the first recommendation I got. I checked out the team's Instagram and liked the dreamy style of their photography. I swung by the team's studio for the photoshoot. This was back when they had a studio at Syed Alwi road. I was nervous at first, but Bel and Avril were friendly, so I managed to ease up after a while. The photoshoot flew by faster than I thought. In that time, Bel took a lot of photos in different settings. They turned out lovely and I felt a big sense of achievement. Fast forward a few years, and I lost the Google folder containing the photos. This was my mistake. I reached out to Bel and team for help. Bel said she'd contact Google to see if they could retrieve the files, but no guarantees. I was prepared to lose those photos forever. Amazingly, I did manage to get back my photos! I saved them properly as soon as I could. Thank you very much Bel and team for your help and great work :)

Annabel helped me plan my proposal. I traveled to Singapore to do it, and she took care of everything. She prepared a flower stand, and had a driver for us, as well as 2 hours of her time to take pictures around the island. The experience was hassle free, and one price included everything. It was seamless. My fiancé loved it all and she still raves about it to family and friends. I was also very pleased with her work. Cannot recommend enough! In total we got 234 pictures, way more than we thought, and all of them a great quality. Annabel has an amazing eye for detail!

Trust your gut, you'd know if the photographer is passionate and takes pride in her work when she offers to meet you in person to look through your amateur mood-board before even sending you a quotation. Believe me Annabel being such an experience photographer, she could have easily send over her portfolio together with the quotation. But instead she made time to meet us on a weekend, just to discuss our expectation on the shoot. We just did our PWS with Pez and Cindy in Bali earlier this month, these 2 girls were simply amazing. They were so professional and well prepared for the trip! Pez literally made her way to meet her previous bride, just to borrow a silk flower bouquet for me after knowing that I haven't had anything prepared. Cindy on the other hand, had a list of ideal picturesque location printed all ready for the shoot. They were really a bliss to work with, even my fiancé (someone who is very reserved with his compliments) was extremely impressed with their both their professionalism. Our overseas PWS was such a wonderful and memorable experience for both of us, and it wouldn't have turned out so well without these girls. We did a couple shoot with Shirlene and the photos were superb! Before we engaged Annabel. We took the simple route of engaging the bridal studio's photographer but after having a less than satisfactory pre wedding photos. We decided to engage a professional. And after a thorough research where we came to looking at almost 40 different freelance photographers online. We honed in on just 3. And after making calls to each one of them, Bel was the only one who i can tell was speaking from her heart with a genuine curiosity. We already seen her work online. But having a heart is just as important as your photographer will practically be with you throughout your wedding day. And you would want someone with a positive attitude. Needless to say everything was smooth riding from the meet up till the end. And the post sales service was there too. We received all our photos within 2 weeks after our wedding. If personalization is your thing. You might like her thumbdrive packaging. On the actual day she brought along a "padawan"(Jedi Apprentice) name KITE. If i had to highlight one thing, I particularly liked the part where Bel empowered my wife to be to take some feminine shot in between dress up as my wife can be a little shy. I would like to share my very positive experience with ALPS (: My husband and I had Pez as my pre-wed shoot photog and Cindy as my wedding day photog. We had initially booked a 3 hour session for Pre-wed photoshoot and a 5 hour session for the Actual day event, initially thinking to keep things simple. However, in both instances, ALPS photogs went over and beyond to help us capture all the important moments and definitely spent more than the 8 hours with us. Furthermore, due to family matters, we needed to bring forward our actual wedding date from March to January. This meant that we couldn’t have Pez for our actual day as she is already booked for another wedding. However, what really touched me was when Bel reached out to me to let me know that she would assign Cindy to be our AD photos, and additionally, she offered for Cindy to capture our tea ceremony and gatecrash. She caveated that Cindy is still quite junior and this assignment will be important for her learning. We accepted the kind offer and did not have any regrets! Our pre-wed photog Pez took our shots at Punggol beach and our alma meter. My Husband and I are it exactly well acquainted with the photoshoots and we’re quite worried that we would come off as awkward. However, Pez was really friendly and professional and she helped us to ease into the shoot, guiding us with some of the poses. Because she knew exactly how she wants to frame certain shots, she was precise in the execution. We came to know that this was also Pez’s first shoot at a school, so she was more excited than us. I really liked how the shots in the school turned out; we developed and framed some of them for display in our room (: Pez also helped me style my hair when we transitioned from gown to school uniform. Our AD photog Cindy was soft spoken but really sweet. For the most part of the day, she took candid photos, some of which turned out to be really precious. She tended to focus on moments which really matter, and I am glad that she did; as I look back at these photos, they remind me of how I felt back at the exact moment. There were a couple of times where Cindy took the opportunity to take some solo and couple shots with the signature ALPS soft and romantic filter. I appreciated how Cindy assisted me with my dress change, even though I did not request for anyone to help me. All in all, it was really a pleasure to work with these two girls. The magical thing about having a team of female photogs is their intuition around how a lady feels during her big day and the perspective they take on through the lens. We were blessed to have Pez (Peiyi) as our actual day wedding photographer. We booked her several months in advance even though she was relatively new to the company as we saw photos from a few weddings she had taken thus far and liked her photography style. Pez has an eye for framing the photos well, a great judge of lighting, and her editing skills were perfect too. She knew how to frame even the minor details like my hair, and she even carried around a little battery-operated fan to keep me cool at the church in the morning. Pez was very thoughtful throughout the day and always present to follow me around and capture our moments perfectly and glamously. Even though we only booked her services for 6 hours from 9am-3pm, my bridesmaids informed me that Pez arrived as early as 8.30am and she even stayed back till past 3.30pm to accommodate the taking of the bridesmaids and groomsmen photos too. Pez is incredibly reliable and friendly and professional, highly recommended to all the brides out there. Even though the turnaround time for the photos was supposed to be 2-3 months, Pez turned them around in less than a month.
