This is our first time doing an outdoor family photoshoot, and we had such a great time with Kelvin! It is very special because I had been a long time follower of Lightedpixels. Now many years later, finally doing one with the 2 little miracles in tow! Kelvin was very approachable, patient and accommodating throughout the shoot. Kelvin broke the ice with the boys very subtly and naturally, they both got engaged immediately and was cooperative throughout, having lots of fun! It all felt very natural and by the end of it I can already see many great shots and expressions captured through Kevin’s lens! It was a memorable and enjoyable session, even till today the kids remembered uncle Kelvin and said they want to have pictures taken by him. Already thinking of a next shoot at the beautiful and cosy Skylight Studios! Thank you Kelvin for capturing these fleeting moments with the kids and also the lovely edits too. I found Kelvin from Google when my son was 2-y-o, we shot family photos on his birthday both at home and in Botanic Gardens. It was a pity we stopped doing shootings during the Covid. But I’m so glad when I try to reach out Kelvin replied like immediately! We rescheduled because of the weather, despite the little rain and dark cloud that day, Kelvin used his magic again! The photos are super great! More than I can imagine! He is quite patient to my son, and running following him to get good pictures! Even going into the water with him! It’s not like shooting with other photographers, we are like friends, sit together talked about everything, very relaxed. If you are a shy person like me, or have kid who needs to warm up and relax, Kelvin is the one you need! (Honestly, I don’t want Kelvin be too busy, it will make us hard to do appointments! This is my second time engaging Kelvin. I highly recommend you to engage him. He is very cheerful, outspoken, has excellent photography skills. I heard of his company many years ago, they are one of the more popular ones in Singapore. I did not have any opportunities to engage him until I was pregnant & he shot for my gender reveal. He helped to gather my 90+ guests for photo-taking and was very enthusiastic. The photos turned out very natural and beautiful and everyone was so amazed by the pictures. Hence, I have engaged him for my son’s 99 days celebration again and got my photos in 4 days. He helped to coordinate the photo-taking for 170 people. The photos are so well taken, at perfect timings and people look very natural in the photos. We love the shots taken and these are perfect for our memories.

Through a friend’s recommendation, we spontaneously asked Kelvin if he had time that very weekend for a family photoshoot and he very kindly squeezed us into his already packed schedule. Originally planned for Botanic gardens but due to pouring rain, Kelvin wasted no time and spontaneously suggested to shoot at the Flower Dome in Gardens by the Bay instead and also shared with us his availability the next day in case we wanted to stick to shooting at Botanic gardens, which I find is great initiative on his end!! We wasted no time in this event of unforeseen circumstances which was crucial for us as we had a personal deadline to meet. Effective communication here was highly appreciated. We proceeded to meet at Flower dome and had such a fun time shooting with Kelvin! He was warm and friendly throughout the shoot. Kelvin managed to engage our ‘difficult’ kids the moment we met and knew exactly how to tickle them with the right tricks and words, making them laugh and more importantly, interacting with him behind the camera as well as taking instructions from him. It may sound like a simple task but as many of you all know, getting children of this age to take ONE photo can sometimes be a dramatic(or traumatic lol) experience - what more keeping them engaged for more than an hour. Combining the ‘magic’ that he has and an eye for beautiful backdrops, Kelvin managed to capture the fun characters of our cheeky daughters, truly displaying the saying ‘a picture paints a thousand words’. I highly recommend Kelvin for his photography skills are a level above the rest.

When I started planning for my wedding, I had intended it to be a very very simple and basic affair as I felt that the banquet was more for my friends and relatives.
