Reviews of Triple D Minilab Centre
Was introduced to this lab by a review I read. The services rendered are efficient and straightforward. Send your rolls in before 2pm, get your scans via the google drive before 7pm. They also sell 35mm film, sometimes they have certain brands on sale. I love the scans recently taken for a maiden trip. Would highly recommend Triple D.
My go-to place to develop my film (also because it’s just below my office lol).
Processing time is super quick,
- Same day after 7pm if you deposit your films before 2 pm, or
- On the next working day after 5 pm if you deposit your films after 2 pm
They will send you an email notification for your first order but not for subsequent orders.
Essentially you can go about your day and have a pleasant surprise when you open your Google drive folder.
Here are some of my novice film shots~
My go to place for film development. Their service is good & efficient. The staff is friendly and fast. Have been here for years and I find the prices reasonable in spite of rising costs
Superb film developing lab! Very high quality scans and very fast lead time. Very well stocked with all kinds of film stocks ranging from Kodak, Fujifilm, Cinestill, and other indie ones. Definitely recommended for film photography lovers!
Got my 110 film developed here for $20SGD. Friendly staff who attended to me swiftly. I received my digital copy of my pictures via Google drive within 5 hours of the same day. Would recommend.
Fast! Got it next day at 1pm 🌊🌊🌊🌊
I always get my film processed and scanned here. Super fast service by the team. Always happy with how my pictures turn out. They also have quite a wide variety of film on sale here at a reasonable price.
They develop your films very quickly and the pictures turn out nicely with no issues so far. Getting your photos back after developing is also very convenient. They also have a variety of film rolls and film cameras available for purchase.
Been developing my films since 2019 🥰
Definitely a cheap place to develop your films! You can also request for express service if needed. So far the staff i encountered are friendly and nice.
When the pandemic hit in 2020, was so glad they came up with online film service. Super fast and reliable!
The films quality wise, are still ok! 😊 Definitely will come back here always to develop!
If you’re just getting into film these folks are very helpful. They don’t have fancy cameras, but their processing and scanning is fast and quick. You can buy simple cameras there that are a lot of fun as well as disposables.
Definitely the cheapest and most competitive prices for film developing, but the quality of the scans are not the best.
Previously, same day collection before drop-off at 2pm was pretty efficient. However I do not enjoy the new Dropbox account implementation as much - the promise of scans being available in your account after 5-7pm the next working day is not always done on time.
They finally offer scans via Google Drive. Having a dedicated CD player to read the discs they used to send is burdensome, a smart move given the fact that CD players are becoming archaic in technology.
Triple D is probably the fastest and cheapest way to process film downtown with their quick turnover rates (usually by the following weekday, unless you're doing it on the weekend). Unfortunately the scans are only 4 base if you pay $9.5 to process 35mm, which is just enough for social media, and not editing on Lightroom.
Hit and miss. Go at your own risk.
When it works, it's the cheapest and quickest.
When it doesn't, your roll is ruined and can't be salvaged.
Tested with the same camera, 2 rolls kept similarly, developed at different shops. Most of my roll with Triple D didn't amount to much, lines running down them, strange colour pay-off. Other shop produced photos as expected.
Took the Triple D photos to a few other shops to ask for 2nd opinions (without mentioned where I developed them) and the unanimous verdict was probably an issue in the film development process and chemicals used.
Superb service, was told that one of my rolls were either not loaded properly or smtg went wrong, owner was so nice to refund me. I will definitely come here again, I have couple more rolls waiting to be developed. Thank you so much!!
The experience was great for a first time trying out flim cameras. Plus, i asked for advice as some of my photos came out white washed it was due to me forgetting to turn on the flash
my all time fav film shop cheaper in town! and friendly and good service😎
definitely one of the more affordable places to buy ur film necessities! their film rolls are sold much cheaper than sellers on shopee trying to make a quick buck
my go-to spot for film developing, people are nice, process is fast and professional
They provide excellent service. Very quick developing and scanning with reasonable price. Impressive film stock for sale, highly recommended place for film photographers to check out.
good no nonsense lab for C41 developing. shame they dont do reversal. never had a bad experience here and they turn around quick. also has a decent stock of fresh film and some BW chems
So helpful and knowledgeable. Always a pleasure to go here. Fast and high quality photo processing and scanning. Great range of film for sale.
If you are processing your film, this is probably the place to go - both price and quality are great. A little out of the way, but definitely worth the visit. If you have a lomography membership id, you get 10% off.
Have always been one of my cheap go to that has a physical shop. It is what is always recommended for a beginner. Staff are welcoming and nice. Nvr had a bad experience!!
Scans get sent over within a day or two and are relatively clear. I did notice however a significant decrease in quality when the photos were printed
Overall quick and easy service for developing films. Affordable price as well.
So convenient and quick, films are developed at a good price and in a short amount of time. Highly recommend
Great turnover rate but I wish the film scans given are in high res formats such as TIFF instead of JPEGs, especially when I’m scanning 120mm films
Highly recommend! Can get the photos the next day :) and the price is okay as well
Great place to buy, process and scan films
The scanning is expertly done. Forget about buying your own scanner. Come here instead.
Great service for film processing, film will never die!
Really good scan quality. Also their prices for processing are really reasonable.
Good place to get photos developed. They are fast and good.
Been going to this place for 2 years and it still suprises me the quality and speed of service
Very helpful staff, small store so limited selection but adequate choices
Always a fast and seamless experience here!
super efficient service, best in town!
Good place to develop film
No fuss. Drop and go.
Cheap place to process photos
