We returned to White Room Studio for our family photoshoot because of the great experience we had the last time (5 years ago). It is not easy to capture pictures of 4 children, but the photographers here are always able to do it - the 1.5 hours photoshoot session is a breeze! I love how the pictures always turn out so heartwarming and vibrant, worthy of a whole photo album. We get to review the photos about 2-3 weeks after the photoshoot. The person who goes through the pictures with us will artistically guide us through the selection process, such as which photos will be suitable for mounting on the living room wall or along the corridors. Thank you very much for capturing beautiful memories for our family!

We had a family shoot with White Room Studio second half of August 2023. We were living out of a suitcase having flown in from different parts of the world, and arrived in odd combinations of clothes and shoes, but our photographer was patient and kindly gave some advice on how to match each other, his assistant even ironed our clothes for us before the shoot. The natural light was plentiful in the shop house and they had nice backdrops. They were accommodating when we requested to view the photographs just a few days after the shoot as we had to leave SG. We try to have professionally-taken family photos every few years, so those from this photo session will be part of our precious collection.

Process to book the photography shoot was smooth and efficient. We had a rather good time on the actual photoshoot day as well. However the viewing session was less pleasant as the whole process was very rushed. Even though we were allocated 1.5hrs, we were rushed throughout the whole session to complete the viewing, which took us ca 70min. There was not much guidance nor advice from the staff as well. The editing could be improved as it was surprising that the colours turned out quite different from the original outfit worn.

The photographs came out beautifully, even though my family is not the most comfortable with posing for photos, thanks to the efforts and experience of the photographers and staff. The photo selection session also was managed really well, didn’t feel pressured into buying extras, and they had good advice for choosing photos!

Got a gift card to capture this phase of life and White Room Studio team had helped us achieve quite priceless lifetime moments. Booking process had a few hiccups because of few reschedulings requested by myself but glad we made it ultimately. Had also booked a makeup session prior where make up was done very natural. Ya Ting was the one who captured the shots for us in 1.5 hrs. She is very friendly, nice and knows how to direct us for best angles. Dealing with my 6 yr old throughout was easy for her too. The studio itself has very cosy ambiences and setups so makes us feel at good confidence to pose. Viewing photos in their another home office, was even more impressive. Comes with perfect living room setup to allow comfort through the enjoyable yet tough process as we need to shortlist best few amongst the 90 shots taken! If need to improve on any, maybe a gentle reminder on msg a few days prior to shoot, so that are clear on what to bring etc. Would suggest this studio for families’ life style photos in general!o

My family had a photoshoot with Justin. It was a mad house with 3 dogs but he was able to control the situation perfectly and made us feel at ease in front of the camera. Awkwardness runs in the family so it was amazing that we looked as good as we did. Loved every single one of the photos so it was very hard to narrow down to just 4 (I guess that’s a good problem to have). They were also very understanding and accommodating about my family not being able to attend in person for the photo selection and sent us a contact list. Good experience had here. During the initial photoshoot, the photographer and the assistant were very helpful with their directions. Really engaged with us and gave really clear instructions to for posing, etc. Staff was very also very helpful during photo selection. Really upfront with the costs of framing and all that. Have been to a few other studios which were pretty low-down about costs resulting in a sour taste at the end due to sudden costs but no such experience here. Really recommend coming here.

Our large family of 4 adults + a high energy toddler and a super high energy dog got a family photoshoot done with white room recently. To ensure a comfortable environment away from the heat and sultry weather - we opted for an indoor shoot at their river valley studio and the photographs absolutely took our breath away! I just shifted house, so it was a good opportunity for me to do a portrait to decorate the empty walls in my new house. I chanced upon the Peranakan backdrop that White Room has, and this fits the theme of my house nicely. The photos in the galleries are also nicely taken. Knowing that White Room had won awards is endorsement that I won’t go wrong to choose White Room to do my portrait. It was a fantastic studio photo taking experience with Randy! His friendly and cheerful outlook got me into the posing situation very quickly. He was able to get me into poses that brings out the nicest portraits. He is meticulous and remembered the specifics that I want from the portraits, making sure that my requests are all met. I appreciate his professionalism, and believe that the pictures are the result of his creativity, which is why I requested for his presence during the photo viewing, because only he can advise the thoughts behind taking those pictures, offering good insights in photo selection. Just a pity that the photo viewing session was too short for me to decide what I want to do.

We chose white room studio for our family shoot and turns out to be a very good decision.. A good studio has space , props but having a good photographer like Justin and Verona made all the difference. Very patient with my 2 year old and suggesting us poses so that we can get pictures for life. We were called for photo viewing and were greeted by Alison. If you are wondering which studio to go for your photography, white Room Studio is a good choice. Nice ambience and set up. Our photographer, Randy is friendly and is able to run us through our hour and a half session like a breeze. It was fun and relaxing. White Room provides details of preparation and direction before shoot and up to viewing of photos, Dan gave us options for digital, hardcopies, printed table book and so forth. It was a great experience with them!

I went there to take pictures of baby Newborn, and the studio was nice and comfortable! The photographer and all the staff waited for the baby without prompting, and seemed to have a high level of understanding and experience with babies. They took great photos and the photo was taken in a fun atmosphere. If I ever have to take pictures in Singapore, I think I'll choose this place again 😁
