This new zi char stall recently just started operations for about a week plus. According to the staff, they were previously located at Bedok North blk 123. The coffeeshop zhichar stall have changed hands quite a few over the last few years. Ordered the fishhead steamboat since the weather was cold that night, order 3 other dishes mainly the prawn rolls, prawn paste chicken wings and a stir fry baby kailan with garlic. steamboat was okay, soup has the distinctive sour taste, probably from the sour plum and tomatoes. Their prawn rolls were not bad as well, they were handmade according to the staff.

Only open during dinner from 5pm-10pm. Adults pay only $23.80 on weekdays and additional $3 for weekends. Value for money with the amount of variety provided. Many seasoned meats to choose from, seafood on ice as well. Prawns and crayfish were slightly small but no complains. 2 choices of soup for you to choose from. The hotpot comes with a grill surrounding it. Ample space to cook many stuff at 1 go. Only downside about this is its location. Way off from the main road. So driving or getting a ride would be your best.

Came here for dinner with family. There are time when you paid for a low cost meal and you felt - well that was a great value! Here, you would not have such feeling. You will feel that you get what you pay for. Which is an affordable buffet and that it. Limit choices of seafood (they do give 2 live prawn per pax). After that, such some prawns, crayfish, clams, bamboo clams, flower crabs and that it. Remember, you get what you pay for. But service is good.

Above average for this Teochew fish head steamboat using the traditional charcoal style metal steamboat and dishes are good. Price wise is alright. Will come again!
