Reviews of 85 Redhill Teochew Fishball Noodles
Always a place to visit whenever feel like having fish ball noodles.
Although the staffs turnover is relatively high and quite often a minor (10mins) of waiting time is needed, the staffs are still polite and strive the o serve customer as fast as possible.
Second visit to the stall 18/3
Comparatively, everything seems to have improved. From order taking (guy in white), payment, cooking to serving (lady in black)
Have to give credits to both especially the latter who is very professional and clearly knows the entire work process well
Food does lack the punch of vinegar that is key in BCM and noodles a tad bitter and soggy. Not the kind I would say authentic but acceptable
Tried their minced meat noodle with lime juice at $6.20. The taste is acceptable, sauce is sweet with a bit salty, noodle is springy, meat portion is medium. Staff is friendly. 7.5/10.
The Laksa is non spicy type , more like noodles in coconut milk, but u can request sambal chili , that would definitely add a lot more flavour to laksa
One more thing , the laksa has no cockles , only few pcs of pathetic fish balls , one dou pork, half eye and one fish ball..
i would still preferred laksa to has cockles.. that’s the beauty of laksa
I ordered item #3 on the menu. The soup is not as clear as authentic Teow Chew noodles else where. The Kway Tiaw texture was a bit more siggy than normal.. A notch away from being an authentic taste.
Went there for lunch and dinner. At both times there was a queue. Quality was consistent between orders. Meatball was softer and less meatier than expected. The noodles were good though.
A fast fish ball noodle eateries outlet. If you like fish ball this is fine except service at counter may be inconsistent or polite in serving due to hectic demand that overlook.
5/10, alkaline taste noodles, nothing to wow about but can get your stomach filled and if you are craving for bak chor mee.
Great tasting fishball noodles, but quite expensive for fishball noodles.
Good and juicy fish balls
Last the taste is better
Delicious and affordable.
