The skin for the fried chicken was crispy and flavourful however the meat was dry and plain. Curly fries was a little soggy. Probably should have tried the burger instead. Love the cold mug for root beer. The price and service was ok. Kinda weird layout for the outlet.

Was craving for their chicken for quite sometimes, it was always crowded at other outlets but it was no queue at here when I visited for snack around 5pm. I like thier fried chickens, it was crispy eventhough it was thin flour. Their root beer was so refreshing. No ice on their root beer, their glass was cold. It was nice. Only curly fries is available on the menu. It was ok, not that crispy but was good also. Collection of orders were here and there. I collected drink straight away near the counter, waffles behind the counter, and food outside the eating area at their food collection counter. Condiment located at other area also. Was given two beepers for one order, one for waffle and one for food.

I ordered the Mozza double cheese burger set with added options cheese plus chicken sauce and extra scoop of ice cream to the root beer. I like the crispiness of the bacon which gives the burger extra crunch. Overall the burger tasted really good with a good balance of meat and vegetables. I was a little disappointed with the presentation of the Coney fries. I didn't expect to see the cheese and meat sauce packed separately in containers. Sadz. Come on A&W, surely you can do better than this!

Maybe it’s me but I found the coney dog sauce quite different from A&W Malaysia, tasted bit light or watered down 😬strange!! Root beer float was fine though n the onion rings were great. Another minus was the Long wait n queue time. They may need to implement other forms of ordering (self order kiosks) like Macs n BKing to SPEED up as it is FAST food after all.

Update: 11/10/20 - staff was very friendly, food was still served promptly but just longer wait due to lesser table Fast & prompt service on a weekday evening. Gotten all the food within 15mins. But the hot fudge definitely need to change brand as the chocolate sauce isnt that nice.

The queue is too long. I've been missing root beer for so long. It brings me back to a lot of memories. The chicken is different from the one in Indonesia, it's missing some flavor, but it's crispy enough.

A taste of nostalgia. Went on a weekday off peak so there isn't really a queue. Had to order and pay before being able to get a seat. Food is decent as I remembered. Much better quality than in JB where people say no need to queue. Parking is a non issue.

It has been a very long time since I tried this restaurant here in the philippines, the last time was way back when they had the branch in fiesta carnival in cubao before. The cheese burger was really good. The bacon crispness level up the burger. Their signature root beer float never let me down... This was in AMK hub Singapore. The chicken was also good, the taste is similar to popeyes chicken. It was served warmly. This was thursday dinner time and we are very lucky because we got a vacant space immediately, A few minutes later, the lines are starting to build because there were limited tables (space) for dine in.

Finally tried A&W Singapore. Went to AMK Hub at around 9.15pm, there was a short queue. It moves very fast, around 15 people were served in 15 minutes. - The food was served quickly too. Nothing fantastic about the fried chicken, it taste good but nothing very special. Curly fries and waffles are nolstagic. - Waffles with ice cream is nothing fantastic but memories... The waffles is crispy but empty on the inside. Goes well with the ice cream and strawberry though. - I wouldn't queue but I wouldn't mind having the waffles with ice cream once in a while 😏🍦

An American Fast Food that our parents brought us to in the 1980s and we bring them & the kids to in the 2020s for sentimental value. Would prefer the food to be warmer. Enjoy the root beer in ice cold mug most 🍻

First time trying A&W after they re-entered Singapore. Many said the fried chicken is good. Golden Aroma Chicken, seasoned with their secret recipe is really good. Crazy fast service. Food came 5 sec after ordering but queue is very confusing. Place is packed and crowded as always but that just proves how great the place is. Food is high quality and the root beer float never disappoints. Definitely recommend the place for special occasions such as birthdays. Price is reasonable.(✯ᴗ✯)

Queue management is pretty good to the ordering counter in total took me around 20 minutes to order and you'll get the electronic number tag that will beep once your order is ready and you'll have to collect it from the collection counter. Food wise its pretty average except for the curly fries which are nice.

Burger was alright, what let me down the most was their chili cheese fries with beef which was absolutely pathetic for the price. Just a few pieces of minced beef here and there. Totally not worth it! KFC better. Got their root beer float and was upset it didn't give me the 'kick' that I was looking forward to. Oh btw, the drinks serving size is quite small. Dont be fooled by their soze of the mug.

A&W has returned since Jewel opened, but i have never tried it yet. For the first time trying at AMK outlet, it wasnt really as good as i expected? Not sure if its an outlet thing. The fried chicken was no doubt good, but the onion rings and fries were meh.. i rather eat at burger kings for that. Not a fan of root beer so cant comment much. Maybe will try the jewel outlet soon for a fair comparison!

So glad thay they came back to Singapore again and no need to travel to Batam or JB to have it anymore. Since my sec sch days, I'm loving their curly fries and root beer float. Remembered I always went to the outlet at Clementi back in the 90s and also been inside the iconic A&W Boat at Sentosa. Memories will never fade. A few decades now, am still loving the food and also Waffles with Ice Cream. Crispy Waffles blends perfectly with the ice cream. My 3 must-have at A&W.

Had A&W for the first time in Singapore since 21 years ago!!! Went there at around 10.30am and there's no queue. Ordered their signature hotdog, twister fries and root beer float but all of them were underwhelming because they tasted just like any other chilli dogs, curly fries and root beer float you can find elsewhere.

Went to Ang Mo Kio Hub to try the 2 piece chicken today. First thoughts was how can their chicken be better than KFC, should be another normal fried chicken. Never to my surprise, the chicken is more tender and the herbs taste is better than KFC crispy chicken. Their curly fries is still as good and nevertheless, the ice root beer mug.... Also the taste here is better than the one I have at Bukit Indah Johor.

Finally I tried the A&W in Sg. The chicken is very good! It’s not too oily and the crispiness is just too good! Their queue system is orderly and good. No messy orders. From the time I queued to the time I received my food was about 30 mins.

After being gone from Singapore for many years, A&W is finally back; this branch at AMK Hub is the second one in Singapore. The burger is not bad, but it’s not spectacular. For its price, I would rather eat somewhere else.

Food is okay, but we applaud the service of the lady at the counter. She’s very patient in taking our order, giving us suggestion on meals eg, taking on kids meal when we asked to get plain hotdog for our kid. She’s going the extra mile and giving us workable suggestions to cater to our requests. Her name is Jesslyn, not sure of the spelling. Her service level is applaudable, makes dining in experience enjoyable.

I wanna say Thank you n a Big thumbs up to A&W for serving great tasting food and importantly, given such high level of service at your AMK outlet. I finally got a chance to get down to your store on a Sunday(18 Oct 2020). Q was still there but wait wasn't long. Your greeter/usher was especially efficient, gave clear info, friendly n welcoming- something which many established chains(especially popular ones due to arrogance n complacency I guess) sorely lack. Your staff generally have no attitude n seem pleased to welcome and also take my orders- the counter staff were good too- there was no pressure n offered right suggestion. I like your system of ordering too. The person who presented the food to me from the kitchen window was also extremely cheerful. Since it started off so well, I naturally had a smacking good time finishing everything on the trays. Given the current extra workflow due to Covid, your staff are very well-trained, aware n sincere in helping your customers w their orders dining in or take-aways. It is refreshing n wonderful to experience gr8 service again from a "good old friend". Thank you! I think you are a fast food place with a difference. Welcome back!

Went there recently, food and drinks were nice, just wasn't satisfied with the staff's attitude there. The tables and chairs not labelled properly about the SMMs. Moved the chair slightly,so we have enough space and sat down on the unmarked portions of the table. Then the staff wasn't happy and shouted at us that we couldn't sit there because it would be too close to other tables. Was shocked since I didn't expect to be shouted at for such a matter. Was eating halfway and the same aunty wanted to return our trays but did no rudely, by shouting at us if she could clear it. Was glad that she was going to help us clear our trays but the tone that she talked to us just wasn't pleasing. Would give a higher rating if wasn't for her, well it's okay since perhaps she was having a rough day ya.

Super efficient queue, ordering & collection system. Staff were enthusiastic and helpful. Easily one of the most pleasant fast food experiences I’ve had so far. Food was tasty, especially the fried chicken.

Bought mozza burger combo with 1 chicken and beef cheese corny hotdog. Waited 1 hour for the food include waiting in queue. Queue is long, estimate about 20-25 people. Customer Service is good. Food is average. I only enjoyed the root beer so far. If you ask me if it is worth the wait i would say no. I would rather go macdonalds for my fast food cravings. From my past food experience at overseas A&W, anyone who has not tried A&W i recommend waffle ice cream and root beer float for their first time.

Food wise, its great still after all these years. Queue management and waiting time (including for food) wise, its not aptly handled. Queue I would say just as crazy as how Genki sushi is during peak times but waiting for the food to be ready seems also takes forever. Not to mention the Corny dog i ordered was not really that hot or difficult to prepare. This is supposedly fast food, not slow food where u waited 30mins for your food, sipping finish your drink easily during then.

I would like to commend Elizabeth from A&W AMK Hub. I can't eat cheese at the moment due to some medical condition. She told me that they don't do customization. Upon noticing me saying "ohh", she went the extra mile and said she will try to request for no cheese fish burger. I was happy to know that great customer service still exists, despite my negative experiences I have been having from some retail stores lately. Kudos to Elizabeth!! I sincerely appreciate it. And......the fish burger was yummy!!

It’s okay, I went there to drink root beer float. The Burger looks very big in the photo, but it was really small when I arrived. The set meal is $11.50, which is a bit expensive. Next time I go for a root beer float and it will cost $3.50.
