Good. Duck rice has generous portion and its really good.. Chili is Sambal instead of the normal vinegar-chili. Free flow drinks for 1.80 is just great. Recommended. Will definitely come back for the duck rice.

A relatively new restaurant that deserves a mention. The food here was great considering the price is very affordable. We ordered the family set (Curry Sliced Fish, Sweet and Sour Chicken, Baby Kai Lan, Shrimp Paste Chicken, Onion Omelette) and it is very comparable to the Zi Char standard that you get in many coffeeshop. Went on a weekend evening and there was not really a crowd.

We had a small celebration here...the place was not crowded and have a very comfy ambience. We ordered a few dishes... We highly recommend the chilli Lala, it was absolutely delicious...can even eat 2 plates, the gravy was stupendous...then we had the sweet and sour seabass, we loving it, the crispy of the fish meat was well balance with the sauce. We had the garlic chilli prawn and we would recommend it as it was utterly different but was so nice that we can just eat it with it shells. The fried chicken shrimp paste was delicious to eat it while serve hot but would say it will be much better if they make the taste a bit stronger. The only downside is the Seafood Tom Yam Soup as it was not well balanced. The bowl came big however the meat inside was so less. There was so much of the cabbage and 1 or 2 pieces of fish meats, small prawn and calamari. Overall we had a good day, the waiters were friendly, the price was affordable with the foods that we ordered. Will definitely come back again.

Update 1st Feb 2022 (Lunar New Year's Eve): I changed its 3 stars rating to 4 stars. Your (new) server (a Chinese lady with hair bun, about late 20s to early 30s) was banging through it with speed, patience and smile. There was an Indian family asking questions and she tried her best to understand them even though that's not her first language. The male server (Chinese-Indonesian (?), about early 40s) was polite too. We could see these 2 servers were very tired. Despite that, they were trying to keep things running, their smiles never faltered even though it was full house. That was admirable so the raised 1 star came about because of these 2 servers' hard work. Keep up the good work! Older review 2 years ago: Customer service: the waitressing deserves a mean rating between 2 stars and less. (And this is not my first visit..) It felt disorganised and not, at least, adequately-professional. We saw a cooked dish that looked like "Hor Fun" being placed on top of a grey trolley, within the proximity of a used pink-squared-with-white-background hand towel; occupying the lower deck of the trolley lies a sizable container that holds a mountain of washed utensils. The restaurant looks like it could withstand competition if it's situated in an upscale shopping mall but the customer service really needs a lot of work and the frontline staff need to have a keen awareness of how its image would come across to the public. Quality of dishes: it's comparable to the ones in hawker centres. But so far, nothing really abysmal about the food quality so the rating deserves an average 3. The good thing is that there are dessert and drink options for those with sweet tooth.

We're frequent diners here. Have been here several times and food was always good. We always order the same dishes I.e. Kampung fried rice, olive fried rice, petai chicken, crispy fried bee hoon. It's quite rare to find crispy fried beehoon as the more widely popular dishes crispy noodles. Never be disappointed... Compliments to the chef!
