Good bowl of chirashi Don. More expensive than typical as the ingredients are more premium. Eel was alright. All said, some other jap chain could provide better value for the same or better taste.

Food was good and the stuff was pleasant and attentive. However don’t expect to feel like you’re in a medium to high end Japanese restaurant as the staff are accepting of the rowdiness of large groups of dinners. Comparable to that of a hawker center. That aside, the establishment would be a great place to visit during non peak hours,

Came over to try their tasty set lunches on a week day. Ordered their signature tonkatsu set and tempura with cold chasoba set. First there's no crowd so the ambience was cosy and comfortable. Service was prompt and professional, so there's a good point. Foodwise was good too, as everything was done well and the portions just nice. Tonkatsu was crisp and flavorful, tempura was crunchy and tasty, chasoba tasted good with the sauce. However, we highly recommend the chefs to bring back the raw pigeon egg yolk in the soba sauce. As, they no longer does it probably due to cutting costs. Overall, enjoyed the dining experience and giving them a good 4 star rating.

Discovered this little place that served very nice Japanese food. The tonkatsu is very good. My favourite is the garlic fried rice that one can upgrade when one orders the set meal. Price is reasonable for a set meal($20-$30）The green tea is free flow too. I think the best thing is the service. The waitresses are all very friendly and attentive. I think Josephine deserves special mention. She was in-charged of serving the green tea. She not only filled our half full glass each time but went out of the way to get ice for me when I requested that I would like to have ice in my green tea. Nice to have good service with good food. Keep it up!

Food is fantastic, highly recommend the Nama Hon Otoro and Wagyu Aburi. Must have also the Kama Shioyaki. The waitresses are also very accommodating in service and polite, felt special to be waited on.

Akashi serve the best fresh sashimi and Sushi . I love Tai fish , Uni from Hokkaido and oyster from Hokkaido . Reasonable price for premium quality dishes.

Beef Tontaksu will be always perfect pair for dinner or lunch. cant forget the taste of sauce. sweet, sour and juicy blend together which feels like magical rainbow.

Was there with my business partner for business lunch. Food is nice and quite fresh, had cod fish and otoro. 6pcs of otoro for $100. Service is average to poor and definitely not Japanese standard although their staff are wearing Japanese Kimono attire. Staff went passed table so frequently, top up ocha tea once and totally left our cups empty for the remaining 70% of our time there.

The tempura is tasty. 💜 Thank You So Much to Xiao Wen for her hospitality, kindness and warmth. She is an asset to Akashi. 🟨 The cashier, Xiao Qin, is also equally affable and nice. It is a family-friendly Japanese diner. 🍤🍤Recommended for families and also for couples.

Average food at a reasonable price. The rice is not what you expect from a high-end restaurant, which is disappointing. The fish for the weekend is not fresh enough. Soup is bland. Pickles are sad looking. I am inclined to pass this shop over next time.
