Had mutton curry in the longest time after recommendation - it’s not only light and smooth, best thing is there’s no mutton-y smell! 👏🏻 I didn’t even know it was mutton curry till it was pointed out. 😅 Thank you for the recommendation 👍

Always dine here for dinner or supper. Very good service. I always come here for the teh tarik, crispy prata or nasi goreng pattaya. Im a regular patron here and some of them recognise me and my family. Abdullah, one of their server, was very efficient, very attentive towards their customers, and always make sure that we got our orders or if we have ordered. It might be very packed during fri night and weekends. Might have to wait for table. During crowded hours, waiting time for the food and drinks will be slightly longer too.

I don’t think I’ve ever tried a crispy yet soft prata. Kinda oxymoron but their prata is really unique. I e tried almost all the “famous” prata stalls in Singapore and this really stands out. Crispy yet soft, and you get a mouthful of oil when u bite in like their other crispy prata competitor. The shop could do better ventilation though. I smell like a prata after my meal.

Abdullah is such a gem! His smile, efficiency, service will brighten up your day. Prata kosong with sambal and fish curry is a great start to nostalgia breakfast. Rojak for gathering is a must! 3rd time having prata at Al Falah in 6 weeks today. However, the prata was not crispy this time. Maybe the cook chop chop fry it due to a lot of orders. Need to be improved as the only plus point about this joint is the supposedly crispiness if the prata.

Found a gem of an Indian Restaurant at Hougang. Bustling with activities on a Friday night. Getting seats could take you ard 10-15mins. Kambing soup was peppery and tasteful, mee goreng was savory and spicy. Their roti prata is excellent. Fresh, crispy with some fluffiness in between. This is a great supper place. 👍🏻

The Prata is crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. The sauce comes with sweet chilli sauce at the side and you can either mix them up or dip into them separately for a variation of taste. The mee goreng and mee kuah as well as the kambing soup are great. The teh tarik is generally too sweet and you need to tell them to reduce the sugar. Overall, a good Prata shop in the neighbourhood! A must try Prata place!

Had their prata here and it's really good! It's a good mixture of crispness and chewiness. Would highly recommend and their chilli + curry combination is superb. Do note that their chilli is on the sweet side and if you're dining in, they will serve you to make orders. There's no GST + Service Charge so that's another plus point!

Ultra Crispy prata. Not the usual doughy but very nice. Have to eat on the spot. Highly recommended! 👍🏻 tastes a little like Chinese spring onions pancake ;) go try it. Warms the "prata" of one's heart. The red sambal chili is a must try! Super good.

my go to place for prata, Malaysian style in Singapore. served with dhal and a dab of ikan bilis sambal. loved by my whole family and with friendly staff, it makes a nice breakfast experience. waiting times are usually acceptable. Edited to add another go to menu. The sup gearbox. Awesome soft and succulent tendons on bone in rich, spicy and thick mutton soup. Just had a takeaway order today and it was awesome. Will drop by again to have it there and then.

Maggie Goreng - authentic red Color with some potatoes and chicken. Very good flavour Mutton briyani - rice not that much, just nice for a meal. Rice very fragrant with some of peanuts. Tender mutton is fall off the bone kind. Awesome. Rice is not overly spicy and the curry that came with it is nice also. Fried Chicken Briyani - my helper ate this and tell me it’s very good. Teh Tarik - good old teh tarik. No complains Egg Prata - Takeaway egg Prata is no longer crispy by the time we ate it. But for some reason the dough egg combination is very fragrant. Curry for the Prata is nicer. I dunno what type it is as I didn’t ask. I’m just a causal eater. Rare to see a shop that does every dish well.

Prata tastes good. Crispy and freshly made. However, the mee goreng I ordered took very long to arrive. I dined in alone and order 3 pratas and 1 mee goreng. They mee goreng hadn't arrive even after I finished all my prata. The noodles and fried egg were nicely cooked. Wouldn't be a good experience if the dishes were for two people. They can definitely improve the service on that aspect.

Al Falah is well known for Crispy prata in Hougang, but I drop by here to have the best teh tarik. I travel from Ang Mo Kio to Hougang just to have the teh tarik. Almost all the dishes here are delicious, especially the mix rice, and also affordable compared to other eateries. The customer service is fantastic. The staffs here are attentive, respectful and outgoing towards the customers. Al Falah is certainly recommended. Friendliest staff names: Riyas, Ali bhai, Ismail & Wahid

Too crowded but with good food. The teh tarik needs an ooooomph boost of better leaves. Prata is uniquely good with curry tasty. Had to wave like a monkey to get some attention but once you get their attention, they are super waiters that remembered everything we ordered. Smokers nearby dampens the scene with ciggie smells. Also a guy got too overzealous and puked his guts out a table away from me. Stopped my appetite right there and got the cheque. But not the restaurants fault. Food is worth it.

Went in the morning, reached around 8 plus. The service was very prompt, got my foods after 10 minutes ordering. The prata definitely lives up to the “review”. It’s ultra-crispy! The sambal is not as spicy as those in Malaysia, but can live with that!

I used to think the crispy prata in Upper Thomson was unbeatable, and then I tried the pratas from Al-Falah. Gosh, they are not only reasonably priced, but it is not as greasy as most crispy pratas. Even their teh tarik had the right amount of sweetness. Staff were prompt in serving us our drinks and the sambal that comes together with the pratas is a game-changer. Will definitely return, and will urge everyone to try the prata here! Update: Lately, their teh peng has been extremely diluted, and tasteless. It used to be perfect when I first visited, but the standard has gotten worse over time.
