Reviews of Ananda Bhavan Restauarnt
One of the best south indian cusine. Ghee roast and special paneer dosai was mouthwatering. Compared to other chinese restaurants this place is a heaven for south indians. It was a wonderful breakfast we had at anandha bhavan. It has limited Seating and self service counters, we need to order and pay first and then food will be served to the table. Overall had an awesome south indian-tamil food with a great taste.
South Indian meals are of great quality when we consider the fact that, it's Singapore. If you want to have a veg and fulfilling meal then, please visit.
Ananda Bhavan vegetation restaurant is located in Little India on the Serangoon road in Singapore...
Here different varieties of Dosa, with a mixture of ghee, masala, rava, etc. along with sambhar, coconut chutney, tomato chutney...
We ordered meals taste was good...
One can also find options to choose from Roti, Naan and sabzi, extending to rice options too.
For beverages, the place offers coffee, lassi, butter milk, etc...
Visited Anand Bhavan since there was a long queue in front of MTR. We ordered sambar vada and onion dosa. Overall food was served quickly, was well prepared and not heavy on your pockets.
One less point since some of the items on menu were not available.
Good place to try vegetarian food, can try varieties of tiffins. Ghee Masala Dosai is the best.
Great value for. Money and Better Then other Indian Restaurant, Must visit if u prefer Jain or Veg Food.Best in Quality
The robot waiter/server will serve your food. The prices of the food are low compared to other restaurants in the neighborhood.
It is pure vegetarian restaurant.
Place was comfortable, clean and service was good. Ordered Onion Masala Dosai and Masada Tea..Chutneys and sambar was tastier than Dosai..
Best South Indian place , u feel the warmth.
Chutney is damn good
Decent food, pav bhaji can be skipped, better try dosa or South Indian dishes.
Food is great. Wish they would use less plastic disposables. Thankfully I brought my own water bottle to refill.
we have just been for breakfast and it was excellent. Great flavours superb chutneys . well worth the trip down from Central Singapore. would highly recommend this place
thank you for the great food

Food tastes great, and the atmosphere feels like in India.
Service and be improved and felt the menu was overpriced.
Good food with distinct differentiation between each curry. My only gripe is that it is very stuffy in the afternoon. Their auto opens wide so even if it's airconditioned, the space beaver gets a chance to cool down enough.
The taste of the food is amazing. The cost is avg here which is like less than komala vilaas but higher than the Surya bavan. Curd rice is amazing.
Breakfast and variety rice available from 7:30 am. Was very useful for our full day trip where there are no pure vegetarian options. Curd rice ..the best!!!
Varieties of vegetarian items with reasonable price. One of the crowded hotels in Little india neighborhood. It have branches in the serangoon road itself. Lots of verities, vegan options, no onion garlic options and jain options are available. South Indian North Indian and Malaysian vegetarian food
I was introduced to this food place for their Rava, since then i have been introducing to my colleagues and friends. Its savoury, I would recommend going in the morning and afternoon.
A decent Indian vegetarian place with good variety. But be prepared to be patient when ordering and getting your food. The crowd management sucks!!
The Appam in this place other restaurant can not beat.... I agree to the pre statement.
Good food. As per expectations. Gets crowded during the meal hours.
Great location.
If you prefer south Indian dishes then this is the place to go in Singapore.
Friendly staff and good taste food.
Wide spread of wonderful, affordable Indian vegetarian food in a casual unpretentious setting... This outlet also has the advantage of being less crowded/touristy than its Syed Alwi outlet.
No service here, No basic ambience also. very small place. Komala Villas is better
Very good dosa , no chilli at all. Prepared in ghee. Very tasty. Will go ahead for it next time.
Tasty vegatarian Masala Dosai,Naan, South indian and North indian meals can get all types of indian sweet as well located in little india
Food is superb! Taste is on point! Employees were so sweet lovely too!
Wide selections, reasonable price compared to other Indian veg restaurants. Very good quality food.
Food was good and price is reasonable. The garlic naan set especially was commendable. Accepts credit cards too
Waiting time is more
The one on Serangoon Road. Mini podi idlis and mini sambar idlis super good. And the battura wow.
Good Indian veg food than South India quality was good
Reasonably priced and well prepared south indian food. Loved it.
Food is good as usual but the extraordinary service given by Mr.A.Ramachandran is remarkable. Good job and keep it up!!!
Food is served fast n cooked in hygienic way. Love it for the prompt service.
Good Indian food.
Their batura is probably one of the best I had however, bad hygiene.
Decent priced food, I had the masala thosai and it was filled with a lot of potatoes.
Food is great and most reasonable in little India
Food is good but really do something abt the aircon. It's as good as not working.
Served food is good. Can improved on cleanliness
Fair enough, other branches in SG is way better than this.
Consistently great food. Clean, friendly and value for money
Food was good. Best part is that they are open late hours.
Best of Appam, my adult daughter's favourite.
Had a cuppa masala tea. Too sweet but good.
Quick service. Dahi puri was very good!
Masala Thosai and filter coffee ☕️ 😋
Well known vegetarian restaurant
Very tasty... Yummy
Quick veg outlet
Fantastic food, extremely helpful and friendly service, very authentic decor and a wide variety of dishes.
There is free drinking water (tap water) and you can wash your hands there.
Meal this day, very very hearty and good and not expensive. I recommend them!
Sem... Premium high quality South Indian food. Less cost. Super super super
