My friends and I recently dined at Anjana Kitchen, and it was an exceptional experience. The restaurant serves authentic Indian cuisine with a diverse range of South and North Indian options. I find it quite average. In term of tastes almost afew China food resturant I eat almost same. Price wise is also almost same thou.. but the Grill item is less spicy herb which normally they sprinkle on Top of it.. A lot of people here to drink too. Nothing fancy to come for.. just my point of view..

Visited for lunch service on a Sunday. It was pretty quiet. I have to commend the staff for his great attitude although he is struggling to communicate with us in English. The food a little on the pricier side when comparing with hawker Indian cuisine but for a restaurant, it is reasonable (after accounting the food quality). Highly recommend the garlic naan. The butter chicken is a little on the small side for $9. The masala tea could be hotter because it’s luke warm when we first served it. The mutton dum briyani is good but I’ve had similar quality ones at a lower price point. I’m sure to visit again to try the other dishes. Highly recommend 👍🏻

Been to Anjana a few times over the past couple of years but taking the opportunity to write a review after my most recent visit. As mentioned in other reviews, I have to admit that the food quality has taken a slight dip from the time they were in the smaller space, to the time they've expanded. Seating, space and ambience is decent with outdoor seating being a plus. Service is quite alright, definitely nothing to complain about. This time we had chicken dum biriyani and I had to admit that it was a disappointment. The naan set with mutton roganjosh was much better. One suggestion would be to possibly cut down 1 side dish in the set. But pretty much all the items in the set were tasty, and that goes for the naan too. Chicken murtabak was quite huge, a bit oily, but overall quite nice. Mango lassi a tad too thick that it was an effort to drink it using the straw :) An 'alright' experience at Anjana, though the food is no doubt good, I believe it lacks consistency - unlike the last time. So an improvement in that department would do wonders.

Was doubting the name of “best Indian food” and came here to try. But it surprised me with its flavors. Ordered a set of North Indian Thalli and one special Thalli. It came with 5+ different curries with bread and rice. From savory to sweet curry are all really amazing. Def worth a try!

Price: $3.20 (Plain Thosai) Plain Thosai: 4.5/5 Great sour flavour, savoury and has a good amount of char. Sambar: 5/5 Flavourful, spicy and was cooked with many spices. Chutney: 4.5/5 Orange chutney was spicy, fragrant from the coriander. White chutney was thick, coconuty, savoury, tasting like taukwa. Total score: 14/15 Add-ons: Masala Tea ($1.70) was also very tasty.

A decent place for South Indian food. We had dosas and some snacks. We were able to find seats on a weekend evening since the place is pretty good. Good and friendly service from the staff, I ordered some Jeera rice from the serving tray, they explained that the rice is a bit dry and asked me if I needed anything else instead of serving the dry food.

Excellent restaurant to enjoy authentic Indian foods... Juicy and perfectly cooked chicken tikka, Mutton fry, Gobi manjurian... The gravies for paratta were top class... Specially the veg curry was super smooth which even kids can enjoy... You get proper naan, roti, biriyani etc... Have a good time folks 😀

Good food and nice ambience. Sipping a hot cup of masala tea watching the rain splatter away while a cool breeze sweeps over was blissful. It does help being located in a uncrowded and quite place, and it elevates experience. The butter chicken and naan was great too.

This is one of the must try in vision exchange serving authentic Indian food. Tried the butter chicken naan which is alot for a normal lunch. For light eaters, I will recommend it for sharing. Complete the meal with Masala Tea or Teh Tarik. The cost of a set like this is about $12.

Food was amazing: mutton was tender, tandoori chicken was smokey and tender as well. Naan set comes with a plethora of curries and a small bowl of rice. The lady serving was great, very family and soft-spoken. But the male waiters were borderline rude.

If you are looking for cheap and best food option then go for Anjana Kitchen walkable from Jurong East MRT. I had Tandoori Naan Set, it was tasty & cheaper.

The menu has a lot of variety. The waiter was patient to recommend less spicy options for me and spicy ones for my family member. We ordered butter chicken naan set and mutton naan set. One of the best restaurant at nominal price for South and North Indian food. They strive to maintain the taste consistency and constantly follow up for feedback and improvements from customers. Customer service is wonderful and they ensure that they will try to do the best possible. Masala tea is available throughout the day and goes well with any occasion. We also tried catering for small company events and they have kept up to their reputation.

There's a saying that a business will eventually fail with just good food but bad service. Anjanna Kitchen is very much applicable to that sayings. The food can be superb, but the cleanliness is very poor. The restaurant is very filthy, the staff always changes and unattentive and the restaurant people operate it as if its a cheap roadside eatery in India.

A most comfortable location to have restaurant like this, it is very much convenient for employees in this building and also those who have company bus pick up and dropping point here. I almost tried all the dishes, tasty food. Personally I like all the Non-Veggie items. Very good families restaurant too, can see many families enjoying their dinner at the evening and night time. Recently the shop extended and started their beer bar, I can see it is a peaceful place to have it, most welcomed by all. Have been looking for the fried cauliflower that is similar to what i had in new delhi years ago and always ended up with Gobi Manchurian and tried Gobi 65 somewhere with disappointment. Ranjan the head chef came to understand what i am looking for and gamely tried it for me. Even though the taste was not the same but it was amazing and the whole family enjoyed it!! Have always wanted to order indian styled seafood, taking the plunge this time, the chili prawns were delicious! The kids couldn’t get enough of the Garlic naan and cheese naan. The chicken malai kebab and butter chicken was outstanding too!! 5 stars for the food and service from Ranjan and the manager Mohsin!
