Reviews of Atrium Restaurant
Good atmosphere, overall food taste well. Would be good to have sashimi during lunch buffet. Great 1 for 1 deals!
It's a very cosy and nice place, it's not that crowded. It's has many dishes to try from malay , Indian and Chinese cuisine and seafood!!
The food was good 👍🏼 😋 , and the dishes I tried will be :
Beef It was good. I prefer a little a bit more well done.
Prata with the chicken curry is a must try
The Satay was good
The steam fish with garlic
The beef stew was super nice...
And of coz the desserts 🍨, my fav was the ice cream with the waffles biscuits and bread , DIY ICe Kachang and the cheese cake..
The only disappointment part was the seafood as it was not much of variety and wasn't really appealing.
I would still go again , the food is Good!!
Try it to know it...
Buffet spread was decent. The roast meat was AMAZING!!! cooked to perfection (compliments to the Chef) - meat was really tender and juicy...Yummm!
Cold drinks and dessert could be improved though.
The air conditioning was stuffy and not cold, we were sweating the entire time.
Staff were nice, attentive and helpful. While the staff moved fast to clear our empty plates, they slowed down in the midst, which resulted in plates building up on our table and the tables around us.
Overall, we had an enjoyable birthday dinner for our son. Good food, good place to be - relaxed and calm as it was not packed during our visit.
We had a group of 20 for our first annual celebration here, and the experience was fantastic thanks to the exceptional service. The manager, Fennie, went above and beyond to accommodate our various requests, ensuring everything was perfectly arranged. Her attention to detail and willingness to assist made a huge difference. The staff were also very attentive, clearing used plates promptly and ensuring we were well taken care of. While the food was just okay, the outstanding service more than made up for it. We all had a great time and would strongly recommend this place for group gatherings!
Good customer service especially to Wei Xuan and his manager. Understand they hired many special need people under their staffs and this is very awesome. Good deal with 50% discount for various foods choice. But there was heavy rain in the afternoon and caused water leakage inside dining area. Need to fix it for future. Overall good experience.
Had a wonderful dinner, celebrating a nephew birthday. The spread was fantastic. Kept going rounds for seafoods and shashimi. Upon knowing the event, the chef was so nice to prepare us some special dishes. It was a kind gesture from Chef Nita that really spark the night. The staffs were awesome too. They were very efficient in replenishing the spread and cleaning the tables. They were fast to address your requests too. Am definately coming back for more. Thank you for making it memorable.
Location of this place is great. Directly outside of Havelock Station and just a short 3min walk in.
The restaurant felt very spacious with the high celling and wide area overlooking the hotel lobby.
Food variety and quality is good too, we even had a free flow lo hey. Abit bumped by the fact that oyster and lobster were not served during lunch buffet. We used eatigo app to get 50% off and scouted this deal.
Service crew were very friendly and helpful. Shoutout to Haiyu and Sakinah, both of them cleared our finished plates without having asked to do so. They were well spoken, respectful and made us feel very at ease. They deserved recognition for their efforts.
Overall, a good experience that was made even more pleasant with great staff service.
Loved all the dishes of Chef Siti Mastura's signature specials. Her Banana Nagasari with Gula Melaka Butterscotch highly recommended. Her sambal prawn dish is a must have. Great promotion for both lunch and dinner. It was just nice to celebrate my birthday here :)
Great dining experience. Lighting is a bit dim. Only complaint was confusion over payment methods - I was told that I could not pay via Kris+ if signed up using Eatigo which does not make sense as long as i refrain from using any Kris+ promos.
This is my third stay at this Holiday Inn over the last year and each time the restaurant has improved. The quality of food, delivery processes and atmosphere are quite a surprise when you consider the volume and variety of patrons they have to cater to. I’d like to specifically call out Ting Xuan and Frederic whose friendliness and personalities always brighten my day. If you are wanting breakfast, come early if you can. It can get very busy. However, they do a good job orchestrating the patrons. I’m looking forward to my next stay!
Food was average. Not the worst buffet definitely. Baby Lobster on cold dish was way too small, meat can be compared to size of shrimp. Overall, all food can be better. Prize not the most expensive. Wont come back for a 2nd experience. But worth a try for anyone.
Fresh seafood spread is decent. Most cooked food looks nice but turns out too sweet, maybe new chef. Satay not as good as before, sauce was overly sweet. The laksa is still good though. Roti prata is too hard. Chilli and black pepper crab sauce is good but the crab was overcooked. Atrium used to be very good, so it's rather disappointing. And one of the plates clearing staff was so attentive that she cleared everything including my drinks on the table probably thinking that I am done while I went to get more food instead of walking the other way towards the cashier lol.
Was delighted to be able to try a wide array of delicious food available. Buffet spread is fresh, and you'll be lost from what to choose from.
Compliments to all staff who are very courteous, helpful, and attentive to our needs.
Musollah is available. Clean, spacious, and there's a place for wudhu, too.
Atrium Restaurant is at Level 4 - Holiday Inn Hotel (Outram) and conveniently located near Havelock MRT (walking distance).
Satay, Laksa, Lobsters, Sashimi and desserts were good. However, it is not worth the price. Moreover, no free parking.
Excellent service done by staff santhiya and other staffs who treat us very nice . The ambient is very nice and she really take care of us by serving a great hospitality . Rico her for the best hospitality
Quite a wide spread and good quality of food. Cold dish spread was great and the seafood was replenished very frequently. Service was excellent as well with great attention and friendly staff. Overall a wonderful experience 👍🏻
Staff shortages. Takes some time to clear the table but all staffs are friendly n helpful.
Food taste and quality is ok. But the quality of the crabs, both chilli n black pepper, were super disappointing.
The first question as we walked in was "How would you be paying for the meal?" We were surprised by the question, and it affected our experience.
We noticed at the table that there were little cards for live cooking stations. We didn't notice any live cooking stations.
Food-wise, I did enjoy previous iterations of the food. Yesterday, we agreed most dishes were "ok but can be better".
p/s: Our overall experience might have been affected by the amount we thought we'd pay when we made a booking via Eatigo. We were surprised that the actual amount was way beyond our budget. We felt that for the amount we paid, the food and service offered at other locations is better.
There was a vast variety of food.the only grouse was prawns were with shells and not deviened.if the idea is for people to eat less of them.than you should not put it on the menu.un deviened prawns can cause gastrointestinal problems.
The satay was pre dipped in peanut sauce.not all like it that way.the shorma should be cut on request so people get hot .it was precut and put on two plates. very cold.
Other than that it was value for money. Staff were kind.polite and attentive. Chefs obliged too.god bless.
Service and culinary team was friendly.Food selection was superb.
Congratulations to all Atrium Restaurants, I definitely will be back again with my family and guests.
Thanks you.
I made an online reservation for 5 pax. My dinner check in was smooth. The chinese lady at the counter was very welcoming and helpful. She also helped to arrange a complimentary birthday cake for us. She explained to us on the different promos available. I will definitely come back for the good food and excellent hospitality from the restaurant staff!
I like hotel interior design: simple and modern. I rate 5 stars as the hotel really care of user experience: clean, room lighting, pillow menu, empty minibar by default (request to fill by demand), friendly bathroom. Breakfast is not plentiful but quality is good. There is small shopping area at side gate of the hotel for your concenience. There, I also saw lift to function rooms and beautiful ladies taking in at night but had no time to check out.
Pretty good spread, with a few misses such as overcooked chicken meat in 2 of the dishes. Laksa, curry chicken and soup of the day were really good. With the new ala carte concept due to the current pandemic, the staff were efficient and food got served real fast! Basically we got our ordered food within a few minutes after ordering! 😂
For Fri night dinner, we had 6pcs of oysters each and unlimited servings for the rest of the seafood including sashimi. Really one notch up than some of the 4/5 stars hotel buffets which limited 1 serving of seafood each. Am so glad that we decided to come here instead!
Recommended and will return again in the near future. Our 3rd time here anyway. 😄
I initially booked for 6 adults but due to last minute arrangements, had to add 1 more adult. Batrisya was very friendly and accommodating with my request. Great experience!
Our first time having buffet at the restaurant. The seafood on ice are not fresh except the prawns. Buffet spreads not extensive with many duplicate items like curry prawn, sambal prawn, wok fried prawns . Chilli and black pepper crabs not fresh and watery..
Not really a value for money buffet..
Frennie is friendly, staff is good, Ting Xuan smiles brightly at all guests in the morning. Liza is prompt and attentive. Breakfast here is good and i will definitely be back here again.
Service is incredibly good. Staff greeted me when the lift doors open at the lobby and escorted me to the table.
Food is excellent. All small servings to allow you to have a taste of all kinds of local delights.
Went on Feb, came out Chinese New Year menu, it was great. You can have Yusheng for your table. The spread mainly Asian, from India, Chinese, Japanese, Western, many choices. For 1 for 1 credit card offer it was a good deal.
The prata is the speciality here. That is what you should choose. Peranakan isn't bad too, but nyonya fish dishes should be avoided in my opinion (great gravy but sadly the fish tasted muddy)
Seafood is passable, service a tad bit slow. Come here to avail the 1-1 buffet promotion
Honestly, this is not the first time we are dining at Atrium Restaurant. We love the hospitality, vibe, the many choices of delicacies, atmosphere of the dining venue. My granddaughter especially loved the Elevator with lights beaming from it while moving from floor to floor. We will be back again. Thank you for receiving us. My big thank you to all the chefs and F&B staff for making our day well spent. 😊
Nice variety of food selection, seafood, chicken rice, laksa, desserts, it a halah restaurant. The staff is friendly and very professional, good for groups dinning
We had our company dinner in holiday Inn Atrium Resturant . Food was fantastic all my colleague's had enjoyed food fullest.
All non-vegetarians have appreciated the food lot . The ambience was very good .
Hospitality service from each staff member was very good too.
Few of us are vegetarians . For vegetarians also they have tried to prepared some additional food .thats really good.
Feedback :
do add on some more options for vegans.
For vegetarians those who are not taking eggs have very few options to eat.
When customer is doing pre booking for the event, do provide some flexibility in food selection at-least, let them to do pre order from your rotation menu since they have some diet restrictions.
Cold prawns are really fresh and juicy. Satays are with big pieces of meat, really juicy, and tender. Durian Pengat is a must try. Have 8 of them.
Room for improvement for services level.
Due to Covid-19 restrictions, more of ala-carte buffet style, thus hard to judge the portion to order
Visited the atrium restaurant for high tea today. I am very impressed and pleased with the service, the service crew team is very proactive, attentive and friendly , the plates are removed quickly and they refilled our drinks quickly too . They brought the lemon water for my hubby to rinse his fingers as soon as they noticed that he was preparing to eat the prawns.
5 stars for service.
3.5 stars for food. (Quite limited spread for high tea if we based on the prices we are paying for)
3 stars for ambience (could be better if the lightings , deco are newer and modernized)
5 stars for coffee!
A great place to enjoy some quiet moments from your hectic life. Great place for some chitchatting catch up sessions with friends.
I think the service was really good, especially the server Sakinah. Also the chef's was attentive. Never been here before and the atmosphere was very nice.
We visited during Weekend Dinner Time. All of food sections are pack a punch. So many varieties of food and beverages. Absolutely will visit again to this buffet restaurant when comeback to Singapore.
Buffet lunch. Good spread fr fruits, cold seafood to laksa, rojak, satay, ice kacang, etc. A wide variety of local dishes to choose from. A little warm to sit under d clear roof n wall during noon. Service fr d staff is good. They r polite n speak softly.
Loves the variety of dishes available. Nice hainanese chicken rice. There's briyani, rendang, prata, smoked salmon, seafood on ice, shave ice. Very attentive service staff & food was replenish very quickly. 👍👍👍
Had a wonderful time dining for breakfast. A lot of varieties of food options from indian to american. The manager Kuhan was extremely accomodating as well as other staffs. Santhiyah was always a pleasant surprise with a lot of energy during the service
Although safe distancing measure in place and buffet means having our food served, there was a good spread of western and local dishes. Must try the popiah, fish tikka, turkish lamb and laksa. Can order multiple times and portion was just nice. The server attending our section was prompt and helpful. Five stars for service and taste. Decided to give this a try cos of the 50% discount per pax.
Service staff friendly and smiley. Food average. It will be good if there is complimentary parking coupon for diner as well.
Nice environment with good services
Im here already 57 days. Every morning when I go down to take my breakfast. Every morning the treat me very friendly and always have a smile in their face a specially Ms. Ting Xuan. She even does know my room number. I’m very thankful and glad to meet her. If I come back again, just because of Ms. Ting Xuan. Thank you 🫶🏼
I have stayed in this hotel many times for business trips and I would normally stay for up to 2 weeks. Every morning I would go for breakfast and the staffs there are lovely. Highlighting the name of the staff, Frennie the manager that ensures breakfast operation runs well. Ting Xuan and Janice who greets all the guest with a huge smile before I enter the restaurant which brightens up my day. Not forgetting those staff that took care of guests during their meal, they are Liza, Mui and Lan. Wonderful team. I will definitely return back to the hotel again. Thank you everyone. 👏
Staff are attentive and will change the water pitcher when the water runs out.
Seafood Scissors is not available.
Excellent service. Service provide by service staff are excellent, Frennie, Hui Xin and Jie Min waited on our tables of 30 dutifully, making our reunion experience one of the best. Thanks you.
I've been there twice - Lunch and dinner.
Great ambiance.
Lots and lots of varieties of food.
Delicious food!
It's really worth the money!
Will go there again!
Dining experience was great except seafood (like lobsters, crabs and clams need to be extra fresh).
Other than that was good!
The food spread was excellent. All the food tasted so good and authentic. We enjoyed the food. Kudos to the chef and service team.
Our favourite food:
1. Cold prawn, oyster, lobster
2. Hainanese chicken rice
3. Ghee rice
4. All the meat dishes
5. All the desserts
Had lunch during ramadhan, 50% off. Food is awesome, a bit cramp space
Came here for a corporate CNY lunch with my team and the staff were amazing! Kuhan served us and was accommodating and friendly. The atmosphere was good and food was really nice! There was a wide variety of food available and the taste was excellent.
AC not cold. Crowded n noisy. Elderly in group seated far fm food station.. difficulty walking to take food.
Love the hainanese chicken rice, prata and potato gratin. The rest ok except seafood wasn't fresh enough.
All is great. Just like to feedback that the air conditioning really needs to be improved. I've been dining in at the restaurant multiple time. Even when it's at a low or high occupancy, the place always feels very warm. This is the only feedback that I have, which I hope to see being improved, as I do wish to visit the restaurant again in the near future.
I liked the food. However, it would've been nicer had they provided plastic gloves for the chilli crab.
Food was good. They had a wide variety.
Atmosphere was alright. Great spoiler was the female toilet which was downright disgusting for a hotel toilet. Was wet and had tissue strewn all over the place.
Service was okay. However it got worse at the end after i reach home. I suddenly received a call from whom I believe was the manager accusing me that I had not paid for the meal. After clarifying that I have already done so through Krispay, then he said he will check with his cashier. Shouldn’t you check with the cashier first before jumping to your own conclusions and accuse your customer of not paying? Really left a poor taste and spoiled the experience for me.
Fantastic place, food is absolutely 💯 stunning. Restaurant assistant manager frennie really looked after us her and the whole team Fantastic, brilliant service 👏 highly recommend. And a massive thank you. From Cindy and me
Came for company dinner. Service and food are great too. Will come again.
Food was great ambiance was wonderful ✌🏻
We had a delicious breakfast at IHG restaurant Singapore. Ting Xuan was so sweet and helpful. She made every effort to help us. Thank you
The ambience is nice. Food is not bad though still can improve. Dessert churros is not nice, texture not good taste not there. Wish more food variety. Rojak also need improve as the dough stick is the key to rojak but it's kinda of hard even after mixing in the sauce and condiments. Parking should be free not only for hotel guest for restaurant diners. Paid 300 sgd in total for my family meal but no free parking? Dispensing machine for hot drink have all the coffee types, latte, cappuccino etc but for tea it is all just tea bag of many varieties, maybe the dispensing machine can include tea with milk/teh tarik. This will makes it more convenient for diners. There was so many staff on duty but nobody at the counter when I arrive and there was only 1 table sitting down, waited few minutes to be attended. Service staff should be ready to welcome guests and sit them down. Restaurant should have already be awarded the number of guests coming for the buffet as this is booking in advance.
Food was delicious, especially the rojak. Naresh and his team were also very hospitable and welcoming. They were attentive to our needs and even offered a slice of cake to celebrate my sisters birthday. Appreciate the thoughtfulness ☺️
The food choices were limited but they still managed to covered a huge variety for cuisine. Really impressed by the chef as the food tasted more amazing than I’d expected !! The sashimi was super fresh and yummy! 😋😋 the staffs were all friendly and had big smiles on their faces. Only downside is that the crab and oyster wasn’t really fresh :( other than that it was a really great dining experience !!
Firstly, it’s cool, because it’s a buffet, and I adore buffets: that feeling when everyone around you is full and in a field of abundance, not constrained by restrictions and material calculations. Such a pleasant feeling is remembered at the moments of such dinners, that people should live like this - as one big family.
Secondly, this is a buffet, which means there is no talk of haute cuisine. Subtle flavor combinations, play of herbs and aftertastes - not a buffet format. Of what we tried, the cooked red fish was good. The rest is normal. There were no oysters, but there was plenty of different seafood. It's good that it's halal - it shows some degree of respect for food.
Thirdly, the service: below in the reviews they wrote about some arrogance of the staff, and I also encountered it (it started in the bar on the first floor, where I asked how to get to the restaurant) - it felt energetically unpleasant. Already in the restaurant, probably - it was the manager who did not show friendliness at the entrance. And at the same time, there was one very responsive and good-natured employee (he looked like an Indian) and simply neutral, and even tired, but delicate employees.
Perhaps management should address ideology among employees. Feeding people is a very important and responsible matter. How a person eats and in what atmosphere influences his state and mood, and a person’s fate is determined by states and moods. If you do work with a deep understanding of its importance and value, then it becomes a sacred act, and the team powerfully rallies around the mission.
Service staff are very good
The food is good. The portions are small but filling. It's nostalgic, but the music is lacking.
I wish they had alcohol, but they only have soft drinks here.
fast service n clearing. santhya jana with you
