Reviews of Baci Baci Ristorante Italiano
Lovely neighborhood restaurants. Great for family and friends to hangout.
Portions were good. The oysters were better than expected. Pizza wasn't fancy but enjoyable. Steak and dessert were good too.
Service was great. Price are on the plus side but I don't mind paying for the ambiance.
My wife chose this place for dinner and boy it didn't disappoint! Every dish was a hit. Starting with the parma ham, goes perfectly well with the burrata cheese.
The fried seafood platter for me was the highlight! Super fresh squid, baby squid, prawns in well executed batter deep fried in olive oil till light and crispy.
King crab in angel hair pasta was spot on in taste, the squid ink risotto was so rich in taste! The only complain I have if I may was, the rice was slightly under. It still tasted grainy but the taste more than made up for it.
Tiramisu! My wife's favourite and it's definitely one of the better ones we've tried. It's so light and fluffy!
Overall serving size was generous and you really pay for the fresh imported ingredients. We will be back for more...
We celebrated my husband's birthday at this charming restaurant. Nice ambience and staff were friendly and attentive.
The food was absolutely amazing! We really enjoyed every dish we ordered. What truly set the experience apart was the thoughtful gesture from the staff. Without any request, they surprised us by lighting a candle on the dessert for my husband’s birthday. We had only ordered the crème brûlée, but they generously added a complimentary panna cotta to make the occasion even more special. It was such a sweet and unexpected touch!
This place is perfect for dining with a group of friends so you can order more dishes to share and fully enjoy their menu. Highly recommended. Keep it up 💪🏻
Pasta was my absolute favourite! It really exceeded my expectations. For the pizza i would try something else next time. Portions were HUGE! Loved the iced lemon tea too, will be back for more 😋😉
Side note: since it’s a family restaurant there are lots of kids and it gets kinda noisy but oh well 😅
A quaint little restaurant nestled in a quiet lane off the main thoroughfare leading to Serangoon Gardens.
Food is good with decent portions. Highly recommend the tiramisu!
Will be back again to try the pizzas
We went for dessert and had their tiramisu and chocolate salami. The chocolate salami was a pleasant surprise as it was our time to try. Tiramisu was nice and creamy - okay with kids as it does not contain alcohol. Would love for them to have one with alcohol as an option
Tried their latest red snapper , seafood with Bouillabaisse sauce. A complex flavored dish that is so well executed, worthy of 1 Michelin star. kudos to the chef!
Celebrated my birthday here at Baci Restaurant. It was a delightful experience from meal, to service, to ambiance. We ordered salad, steak for mains, and finished with dessert, with a little surprise of panna cotta as a birthday treat from the house. It was really great experience, and would love to take my friends here again.
Fist time visiting here, came here for birthday celebration. Love the food here, all ordered food are delicious to me. Rock melon and Parma is a new experience, worth to try. Fig time Pizza is made on spot, hand kneaded, freshly baked and very tasty. Ordered choc salami for dessert and got another panna cotta as birthday treat. Thanks for the great moment here and definitely will be back for more.
See all good review and went for lunch yesterday. Ordered pork belly, rib eyes medium rare also fig pizza.
The fig pizza is super delicious... Strongly recommend.
Ordered rib eyes medium rare but come out rare, only both corner peice is medium rare...
Pork belly the skin should be crispy... But just only a portion is crispy.. Corner chewy....
The portion is big enough, service is good, especially the manager.
Will be back to try their pasta and pizza also dessert....
Hidden in the midst of a private estate, this lovely Italian restaurant was a gem. The food were all very delicious. The seafood was fresh and the pork belly tender. The pizza was very good as well
Baci Baci @ Lichfield Road.
Unfortunately, the food was impacted due to me being late, so take my review with a smaller pinch of salt this time
The Tagliatelle al Tartufo(Truffle basically) was great, I thought their Tagliatelle would be their signature as most pasta dishes could be upgraded to it for $5 so I just straight up got one that was already that. The pasta was cooked al-dente and the sauce was, in two words, Just Right. Not too creamy but has flavor that lingers. Subtle about the truffle, but still plenty earthy. Will get this again if I come back.
Fritto Misto was nice, the Calamari was still crispy despite being out for awhile which goes to show it was probably done right!
The Pizza was the Capriciossa, I think? I wasn’t a big fan of this topping, but the dough itself was nice and was baked well. A preference thing, great if you like it.
Overall, it’s a great place near Serangoon Gardens but somehow very quaint and quiet. Nice decor, Good vibes, great food, but is slightly more premium than usual.
Giving it a fitting score, 8(Ba)/10
Love love this place! Situated amongst the landed houses, ambience & vibe is great for special occasion and it wasn’t too crowded. The location can be a hassle if you do not have a car but still it will be a nice walk. Food was great though the pasta portion was small and service was good.
Overall a decent place.
Food wise decent but I think you can get better Italian food at many Italian restaurant at this price. Even better for a lower price in fact.
Service staff were good. Attentive.
But... A big but, do you need to charge $2 for unlimited filtered water? Definitely not when your guests are paying above average prices for average food.
The worst is, they do not even allow you to drink from your water bottle. That's a real turn off. Not gonna come here again and not recommended.
Did not order any alcohol. 2 pasta, 1 pizza, 1 risotto and 1 tiramisu. A soup and 2 mocktails.
The restaurant is set in the backdrop of a nice/ quiet neighbourhood and I like the vibes once I got in. We were a party of 3 and had ordered burrata and parma ham, 2 pastas, a pizza and a pork chop. Maybe our palette of late has been overly conditioned with strong flavors, spice and heat.. so we were a little underwhelmed by what we got. We did not find anything particularly outstanding, they were alright. Service was good though, and they offered to strike off the pork chop that was way too fatty.
Definitely just here for the pizza. We were a party of 5 so we got to try a few dishes. Starters: Parma ham with rock melon - melon was hard, unripe probably and quite tasteless but the Parma was good. Calamari - squid texture was good, fried well, but the batter was quite bland could have used more salt or some garlic aioli or sprinkled Parmesan. Mains: Lamb Rack was good 👍🏻, Aglio Olio was Ok, Squid ink Risotto was good 👍🏻 would order again. Pizzas: 6 cheese with honey was the best everyone agreed and enjoyed it would come back just for it. Truffle pizza was good 👍🏻
Great food and service! Highly recommend to come here for a chill night out
Fantastic evening of excellent authentic food paired with exceptional boutique fine wines. The full house made for the best atmosphere and I can not thank the team looking after us enough!
I recently dined at Baci Baci and was thoroughly impressed. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted warmly by the staff. Daniel, in particular, stood out with his exceptional attentiveness and friendly demeanor, making sure we had everything we needed throughout our meal.
The food at Baci Baci was outstanding and comforting. I highly recommend it for anyone looking for a great meal in a welcoming atmosphere.
My partner and I were looking for pasta places away from town, and we stumbled across baci baci restaurant. For us, what marks a great Italian restaurant is how the fresh the ingredients are, and baci baci did not disappoint. We shared the beef carpaccio, Capricciosa, Tagliatelle truffle pasta and ended off with a tiramisu. All of which were excellent, especially the pizza! The staff on duty were also friendly and attentive. I highly recommend the place.
Hidden gem! A cosy Italian casual dining restaurant in a quiet residential area. Will remind you of places in Europe where you can chill comfortably and enjoy good food. Quality ingredients from Italy make a difference. Good service from the staff who know the menu well. Will be back to try more dishes, especially the pizzas.
My first time here and I was impressed. Great food, ambience and very attentive service! The ribeye was perfectly done, pasta was cooked just right al dente and desserts to end off a fantastic night out! But the standout dish was the roasted pork (porchetta)! Really crispy skin with well balanced seasoned meat and right amount of fat! Well done. My only feedback to improve was that the quantity of pasta was just too little for the price they are charging.
A regular here. Good food, great service. Warm maître’d that goes around chatting and checking that guests remain satisfied — like an authentic Italian restaurant should. Love their calamari, squid ink (new favourite!), puttanesca, 6 cheese pizza with honey, and many others. They say you can judge how good an Italian restaurant is by their carbonara and/or aglio olio… and if they offer Hawaiian pizza (not!). Buon appetito!
Update:
Back again for the Seafood linguine and one again, it's spectacular. 100% on point. 😘 Thank you, chef!
...
Best plate of linguine pescatora that I've had in YEARS. The seafood was cooked to perfection - tender, briny and so flavourful, the pasta was perfectly al dente and the sauce was so delicious, I mopped it all up with my husband's leftover pizza crust. 😅😁
Forgot to take a before pic but my plate illustrates how much I enjoyed my meal. 😄
Best Italian food in town! Reasonable price and overqualified taste. Home-made tiramisu is one of the favorites! Strongly recommend!
Wonderful meal!! The artichoke pizza, porterhouse steak, sea bass and tiramisu was the main big hit!
The service is top notch, friendly staff.
Atmosphere make us homely
Chocolate salami was very good. The chocolate was rich and deep. The squid ink risotto was very good too. Love the richness of it!
Food is of good quality, but on the pricier side. Although I have had better tasting food for much cheaper, I would say the ingredients used are fresh and of good quality.
In terms of service, they are the friendly type especially the Caucasian chef.
The wait staff on the other hand are not up to standard as I would expect of at a place of this price range. They served up sauces without notifying us of what was being served or the purpose. We asked and it was actually a dipping sauce for the softbread. For this price range, I would expect the wait staff to give a brief introduction on the food being served and the origins and types of the materials sourced to make the food. We also had to constantly ask for water to be refilled which was a hassle and which are normally done automatically, despite the small amount of customers they have.
Overall, good food but not too much of a service. Would consider coming back here again since its near my place but only if there are not many other options available.
Hidden gem! Tried quite a few pastas + pizza but the standout was definitely the squid ink aglio olio with octopus. Prices were very reasonable too
Lovely place, food was delicious and service was top notch. A beautiful atmosphere which is perfect for date night, family night or any night. Wonderful wonderful wonderful!
Excellent service from the crew. And the food is well prepared. Restaurant is well decorated to give a nice warm relax ambience. A true hidden gem in the neighbourhood.
5 stars toilet experience too.
Great service and a hidden gem and delicious food at a very affordable price point , compared to Italian restaurants in the CBD area
Would come back again
Food was fantastic, and the atmosphere was perfect for an upscale Italian restaurant. If I could give it a sixth star for having mouthwash in the restrooms I would.
A great place for people who r planning to have family or friends gathering ,the dishes and environment r near to fine dine but do remember to bring ur car if I r planning to bring family with elders cuz the place r quite deep in the residential area
great food, capellini pasta was perfect. best olive oil ive tasted in my life
Visited Baci Baci for a private event (wedding) and the food was not bad - give the eggplant, paella, pasta, pork belly & chicken a try! Staff were v friendly but service was a little slow (could be because it was a private event).
Had expectations but after some cold plain bread then bland ordinary 'homely' pasta, things got incredibly boring and disappointing. One thing good was the pizza dough. Might be worth giving the pizza another shot... Maybe.
A friend of mine told me about this restaurant and I wasn't disappointed. The place is welcoming and the staff is very professional and friendly. My pizza was absolutely fantastic, a high quality one. The next time I will be in Singapore I will come back again for sure!
great great great pizza!! delicious and leaves me wanting more with each bite :) staff here were very friendly too!
2 pax $180. Other than the tattoo Chinese guy that was quite rude shouting at us at the door. Food was great, the staffs are friendly too. Indoor was very noisy and preferred to seat outdoor
It’s so good, we feel bad redeeming entertainer offers here. so we always order something a little extra. My two favourite things about this place are the antipasti platter, and the service team who actually look like they’re having fun. The gnocchi is great too.
Pasta was cooked to al dente. Sea bass was really fresh. We had their vongole & timatriciana. Will come again!
Though it's tucked away in the neighborhood. The quality of food and service is no less than a 5 stars Hotel. Will definitely come back!
Fantastic Italian food hidden in a private landed cluster.
Combination of Al-fresco and Air-conditioned dining area.
The pizzas are very flavourful. The sweet potato pizza is unique and tasty.
This place takes me back to Italy. The food is delicious, pasta is always al-dante without fail. Worth the hefty pricetag. Service is ok.
Authentic Italian cuisine, totally worth visit! They use real parmigiano regiano, real high quality ingredient. The porcini sauce is perfect!
My reference for a 5 star Italian restaurant in Singapore is Basilico at the Grand Hyatt. 4 stars for this restaurant is by no means an insult or negative criticism. For the price and location it is 5 stars. It's located opposite a construction site and the noise of the work was a little intrusive as we were sitting outside in the evening. The area was spacious, clean, very breezy and comfortable with appropriate lightning. We had the antipasti share platter which had an above average sliced meat selection and a slightly less generous but reasonably good quality cheese selection including a locally made fresh and creamy buratta cheese. The platter would have been better suited to my taste with more cheese(s) & less meat. The Aperol spritzers were very generous and are recommended. The Americano (Campari) was a good strength/balance but less generous and the speciality house cocktail Baci Baci was an interesting gin based drink with fresh salad notes; not something you'd drink often but worth trying for its uniqueness. We had 2 pizzas, Neapolitan and Capriciosa. The pizzas were easily enough for 4. We had extra anchovies with the Neapolitan and were richly rewarded! The flavours of both pizzas were excellent but the pizza base was overly thin and became soggy by the second slice. The first slice was HEAVEN! The bruschetta was very well done and the table olive oil and balsamic vinegar were above average for a restaurant in this class, very flavoursome and full bodied. Our desert platter consisted of a very generous Creme brulee, Tiramisu with a decent alcohol content, a lovely, rich and smooth Panna Cotta, a sinfully dense chocolate log and a disappointing pistachio gelato (size & lack of flavour). Other than the gelato, the desert platter was the star of the meal and is a must have @$42.
Summary: Generous portions, honest flavours, great value cocktails and very pleasant, friendly and unobtrusive service. I would recommend a visit and will go again myself during these sad CV19 days when Basilico is not 100% itself and for a casual evening out with friends. See you there.
A few things stood out in this restaurant. The interior is beautifully decorated, generating a warm and cosy feeling. There are tables outside for those who prefer alfresco dining. The staff were very attentive without being too overbearing. The manager played his role well, proactively chatting with and getting to know his customers. The food are delicious and the portions are generous.
The restaurant is located within a landed enclave and with the neighbouring shops closed, it is the only lively spot and it reminds me of restaurants in Europe. Parking is available by the roadside leading to the restaurant. Just do not park indiscriminately, eg blocking the entrance of the nearby houses, and you will be fine.
My server that night was Tyra and she was polite and served us very well. My only improvement feedback would be that I would prefer to have the garlic pizza bread with a stronger garlic taste.
We visited this restaurant on an Italian colleague's recommendation. Despite having no reservation we were attended immediately by Tyra, who advised us very skilfully through the menu, with good humor, making us feel like family. Her advice on the daily special, Osso Bucco turned out the best part of the meal. Her wine suggestions were also competent, not so frequent from the younger generation of waiters. The 4 cheese pizza chosen by our daughter turned out a bit dry and not at par with the restaurant reputation, in our opinion.
We enjoyed the overall experience although found the overall bill a bit pricey in comparison to our usual Italian restaurant.
Love the pizza here! The ham and mushroom pizza is excellent, the place is pleasant to chill out for gatherings and the service is superb!
This restaurant is very good, beautiful, luxurious, and the food is delicious. Excellent service staff
The bread is still hot when you receive it service is awesome the decor is very nice very quiet and nice place to have a dinner catch up with friends
The best Italian pizzas in Singapore. Lovely and quiet place with a nice terrace to eat outside or comfortable interior. The personnel is very kind.
Excellent food, beautiful Prosecco and outstanding service. Baci Baci has become our family to go whenever we wanted Italian. Mushroom soup and lasagna is my daughter’s favorite!!
The Fig Time pizza was delicious! In addition, the staff were nice and attentive to give us a birthday dessert when I merely stated "birthday" when booking the table. 5 stars to their service!
Dining at Baci Baci feels like dining at one of the popular Italian restaurant establishments along Lygon Street, Melbourne, Victoria. At Baci Baci, you get to enjoy quality ingredients, personable service and relaxing ambience. Thank you Alberto and team. Thumbs up from all three sisters and mom!
Dog lovers can bring their fur friends.
Great food, great service. Even got a complimentary birthday cake
Excellent place to enjoy Italian food.
Staff is very pleasant.
I already came here it twice and will definitely continue to come in the future.
Good food! Good service. Authentic Italian pizzas with wood oven. 👍 Wine selection is good as well.
Great Food, amazing pizzas. family friendly restuarant, my 3year old baby girl was enjoying her pasta! great and friendly service staffs! even the owner came to say hello. thumbs up!
Had a wonderful dinner - fresh & delicious food and felt as though you're in Italy personally... that fresh & delicious! 😋
Great ambience too despite being tucked away in a residential area.
Staff are professional and attentive. Special shout out to Joanna - such warmth and hospitality is hard to come by these days. She's truly a rare gem 💎
We will definitely return again to try other items on the menu! 🍽🤩
The perfect neighborhood Italian. Food and drinks are divine, feels like Italy. Pizza oven. Great service and cozy feeling.
Nice ambience with very friendly staffs. Ordered Hawaiian pizzas which was awesome. The linguine pasta, pork chop and lava cake were next and My feedback was the food less the lava cake can be served warmer would be nice. Overall, the place is nice for a chill and unwind with friends after a tough day...It is indeed a good place to have dinner. Highly recommend.
Experienced amazing service at this restaurant. I accidentally spilled wine on my pizza while staff was setting the table. The lady staff brought me a new pizza and a glass of wine! Totally a different level of service I experienced!
Food was perfect! Ordered the seafood linguine and lasagna which were both excellent. Molten lava cake with the vanilla ice cream was delicious. Like the cosy ambience and unpretentious approach.
Very good pizza i very like tiramisu good vibe
Amazing ambience and top notch service. Staff was very attentive and made our anniversary celebration a cosy and heart warming affair. Would definitely recommend to try their pizzas :)
Great Italian place with family and friends. And also good place for business lunch. Highly recommend the pizza and beef stake.
Dessert portion is quite big, but expensive. Overall taste of tiramisu is good and creme brulee needs a bit more improvement.
Great service and good vibes. Authentic Italian food, delicious and enjoyable. The wooden oven makes the difference!
The ambience is very cozy, i like their house pizza the submarine and 6 cheese pizza
In an entirely Italian atmosphere, the ingredients of the dishes ordered were fresh and with attention to detail and delicious side dishes, which could be combined with a variety of wines on offer. Staff and Chief Alberto available and attentive to every request. Experience definitely repeat.
BACI BACI Restaurant's food is as delicious and refined as a local high-end Italian restaurant, which shows the power of Italian chef Alberto. The atmosphere of the restaurant is not crowded, so it feels like a high-end restaurant in a quiet Japanese town, making it the perfect place to spend time with good friends or with business partners. If you want to experience Italy in Singapore, you should definitely visit BACI BACI.
I went there at the invitation of a friend during a trip.
The pasta and pizza were extremely delicious and I finished it all! The steak was also delicious.
It was a nice shop that looked like it would be good for a date.
Pizza pasta is so delicious
It was a pretty restaurant with a nice atmosphere.
I will definitely come back next time I visit Singapore.
Nothing to say. Impeccable service, warm welcome, very friendly and smiling. The cuisine is impeccable.
