Reviews of Bao Fa Cha Chaan Teng
Friendly staff. Food is decent. Almost everything starts from $5. Har Gow is full of prawns. The steaming timing control is excellent because the skin doesn't fall off when the chopsticks touch it :D The Prawn Cheong Fun is also good - sauce is excellent and every mouthful has a prawn - not prawn bits but medium size prawn! Yuan Yang Drink is worth a try. Overall I will recommend and will come back again :)
I liked that they bother to provide a dish with ice to keep your drinks cold. The dim sum was okay. I thought the fried fritters rice roll tasted slightly stale and refried. The siew mai was slightly blend. The HK milk tea was good though. The biggest thing that bothered me was the passing of the garbage truck right in front and you smell everything with your food in the morning hours.
The service of the staff is great and food is awesome! Reasonable pricing with good portion. They have a wide range of food for dim sum and other dishes.
One of the best dim sums I have had in Singapore!! They are freshly made and the portion size is good too.
I have not tried the western or porridge but I saw other customers having it and they look so good too. Will be sure to try them next time!
Tried their char siew shu and crispy egg tart which was average. Their yuan yang is nice, teh was average.
Ambiance is good though, got that vintage vibe.
Nice place for a dim sum fix! Should try the fried yam cake and generous portion of pork ribs! Also the yuan yang was good.
Will come back again to try their curry chicken and vinegar pork trotter!
Cheap Kopi and tea and affordable priced hk cafe food. Wide selection of sets and food menu. Got our Kopi Cs for 1.40 at a chic place for tea-break or simple chat with customers walking distance from our factory.
Food generally is ok. Was a bit disappointed that they only serve local tea instead of HK style tea.
Wish there is aircon.
Foodwise is good. Especially the hargow siewmai.
Set meals is very affordable.
Beautiful traditional cafe woth Chinese and also western food. Good service and authentically run like a family
Good food that’s not too crowded on weekends and family-friendly! One of the better dim sum places in SG
My friends and I have enjoyed the dim sum dishes ordered. We will be back to try more. We were too eager to eat and forgot to take photos.
Superb food! I'm impressed with the dim sum quality here! Highly recommended
Came on Sunday morning for bf. Dim sum is good. Soft boiled egg is perfect. Toast is nice. Except the kopi C is bad. Friendly staffs and good service. Next time I try yuan yang instead.
Went with a group of 10 colleagues from different departments to check out this new kid on the block today. Everyone was awed by the quality and freshness of the food and the service! All of us wanted to come back more often and to bring our friends and families here too!
Decent dim sum with good price point.
Food is good, and serving size is considerably large. Worth a try!!
Nice to have a coffee shop in this area selling traditional toasts as well as local and western food.
Will be back 😁
Good place to have dim sum and staff are very friendly
4 Stars: As a Hong Konger, I pay tribute to this restaurant🫡
Enjoy the taste of Hong Kong food stalls and small teahouses
Chicken feet, fried liang (fried chicken is a little too crispy), steamed rice with spareribs
Feeling good
It would be more perfect if there are Pu'er and Xiangpian Chinese teas. I hope the boss will see my suggestion.
As for Western tea, there is no Hong Kong-style milk tea, but lemon tea is not Hong Kong-style either.
Hong Kong’s A-meal breakfast in a tea restaurant: ham macaroni 😆
Baked rice, chicken chop rice, etc. are available
Delicious and plentiful (good and worth it👍🏼)
The Jay Chou songs played are also good (like the atmosphere👍)
Barbecue pork crispy, fried and delicious
