The stall is beside the famous Punggol nasi lemak but sharing the same premise as the famous qi wei chicken claypot place. So you can already imagine, it’s crowded, smoky and smelly from the claypot before u even sit down. The staff is probably also suffering from the crowd and smell and hence wasn’t very friendly. I expect a little courtesy from young stall owners or workers instead of just shuffling you away to go find a seat, scan the code and then order your food. None of the “hello”, “is this your first time here”, “do u know how to order” etc existed in the conversation. There was no queue and I was the first customer for the early evening as far as I can tell. The chicken was so-so. Not generous with sauce or cheese powder etc. My kids actually compared it with Texas, so u can imagine it’s not great. It’s edible, hence the 2 stars. Price is slightly cheaper than 4 fingers so it gets another star for that. Overall not a great experience, not coming again.

The chicken was fried really nicely; batter was thin and the skin was really crisp. Very juicy on the inside. Only thing was that I felt that the flavours were not very incorporated into the chicken and I would have preferred the plain fried chicken by itself.

Update 05/06/2021. Visited again, order the chicken wing and tender. Still as juicy and tender as before. Definitely one of the value for money Korean fried chicken available. So blessed to have them near my area. ****************************************** Crispy, juicy and tender chicken wing. It's the real Korean fried chicken done right. Double fried to seal in all the juice and keep the oil out! Priced at 12++ for 6 wing. It's really value for money too. You won't be finding any other KFC as value for money as this. And best of all, if the chicken size is smaller than usual. They will give additional wing to make up for it!

The so teok rice cake is so little aiyoooo! At $5, there's around 5 pcs of short rice cake + 5 mini sausage (equivalent to length of 1 hotdog). Top up $0.40 and I can already buy from the fried rice stall beside (fried rice with fish roe + prawn looks tempting..) But the chicken is solid and really good. Way better than 4fingers and better than other korean chicken stalls you can find in the cbd area. Can't wait to order the full portion next time.

Easily missed and very underrated. Super affordable for kfc (everyth was $19 altgt). The rice cake may look like a measly amt but they fried the rice cakes rly well its not oily and the sauce was a perfect amt!! The fried chicken was a tad bit too oily but the meat was damn tender and the crispiness of the skin was to die for too!! and the korean lady was super nice too + the service is speedy

It's next to Punggol Nasi Lemak. Seating is limited due to the popularity of the claypot chicken thingy. The ventilation is quite poor in the back. It can get quite hot when dining here. ⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ 𝟔 𝐜𝐡𝐢𝐜𝐤𝐞𝐧 𝐰𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐬 𝐚𝐭 $𝟏𝟑.𝟓𝟎 ⁣⁣ We had three original crispy and three honey butter. ⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ Both are delicious when served hot. The flavor of honey butter taste similar to baby milk powder with sugar Chicken wings are deep fried and can destroy every part. Crispy~

Bought the rice cake, chicken and soteok soteok, and its so yummy ! The chicken is very juicy, fresh and tasty. The rice cake is soft, fresh and chewy! Not the frozen kind of rice cake !! And i love how fresh the rice cake tastes like, the texture is everything to me ! The soteok soteok is my favourite, soft chewy and delicious.. something i crave for Everytime. Highly recommended ! Too good to not write a review :)) one of my favourite Korean store now. ( in my opinion, this taste better than BHC) BHC IS TOO OVERPRICED AND OVERRATED . I rarely do good reviews and when i do, i genuinely mean it and love IT :) thankyou for the good food chefs ! 🥰🩷 i enjoyed it alot!

Value for money and the chicken breast fillet is tender and soft, do wash it down with some asahi beer and you are good to go. Perfect 😮‍💨

I'm a huge fan of Korean fried chicken and I've eaten at most restaurants in Singapore specialising it. However, Basasak Chicken is the best. The chicken is crispy and super juicy. The soy garlic chicken is savoury without being too salty, while the heat of the sweet and spicy is probably manageable for the normal, average person. More importantly, I think the price is very reasonable! The only area for improvement is the delivery time. My food arrived 1/2 an hour late. That said, I'm definitely going to be a regular customer!

Have been eating here since my army days! Having a half fried chicken here with friends and some beer always made me feel like I was in Korea doing the same. The restaurant is owned by an expat couple straight from Korea, serving what I could only describe as one of the few most authentic korean dining experiences available in Singapore! Their chicken is always crispy, fresh, and service always comes with a smile. Highly recommended place to eat with friends and have a hearty Korean meal out!

Chicken was good and affordable. Tried the half chicken $14 and got 7 pieces. Chicken was crispy yet juicy and sauce was good. Army stew was ok nothing too special. Worth the trip if you stay near. Friendly staff too! The lady even brought the food to us despite it being busy and self-service.

I have tried many other korean fried chicken in Singapore but I can confidently say that this was the top among the rest. The owner is a korean and he has so much passion in his cooking. The chicken reminded me of what I had in my aunt's place in Korea which was so crispy and tasteful.

This is the first time I felt the need to write a review about a food establishment! The chicken was so out of this world that nothing even comes close. Stop queueing at Nene chicken or four finger! THIS is the one that deserves our worship! This IS the one true chicken. Affordable @ $19 for half a chicken No even kidding. This is the kind of chicken I would queue an hour for even if it is like $50!!!!!!! LEGIT! So fkin' awesome!

Guys, this is the best Yangnyeom chicken I’ve ever had in Singapore! Every time I visit, the Korean owner welcomes a smile and cooks the food. Unlike other places where you rarely see the owner and the food quality disappoints, this place is different. I highly recommend dining in if you can! ㅠㅠThe chicken here is so delicious. Please keep it running for a long time, boss!!! May you prosper more and more!!!!

I have to praise this authentic Korean fried chicken restaurant. I think it is far superior to other chain stores. Although the wait time is long every time, the food you eat will definitely be hot! The meat is delicious and juicy, and the chicken tenders are not dry or tough at all. Variety of flavors, what are you waiting for? Why not click them all~

I came here last Wednesday and came back today to eat. The store is clean and the food is very delicious. I ate Budae Jjigae today, and my Singaporean boyfriend and I ate it all without leaving any behind. I especially highly recommend the chicken!!!!!!! Oh, I also ate japchae and it was so delicious😍 Chicken and beer are perfect!! I think it's much better than the stores in Tanjong Pagar. I totally recommend it 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

It's hard to eat authentic Korean food in Singapore, but this is one of the few places you can trust. It's not very well-known, but all the food I tried was fresh and delicious! I usually eat wings and potatoes, and they were really delicious. The owner is also friendly, and I think I'll go there often.
