Good food, lovely people and great service.. and we are repeat customer. their mutton Mandy is nicely flavored nothing overpowering. Spice level: Safe for kids For those who needs spice, the "sauce" does will do the job..... Great job guys

Wow, I've never had biryani like this before. The rice is nice and moist, the lamb was smoked and charred and fatty and flavorful (like finger-licking flavorful) and even the little pot of chili was terrific. Very nice owner. Just a fair warning: arrive early or else they may sell out!

Best MANDI in Singapore! Must try their Mutton, Chicken and Shank Mandi as its very smokey and falls of the bones. The price is worth it as you can taste the love and hardwork on his cooking. His chicken and mutton briyani is also a must try as its juicy and tasty also. Be sure to come early at lunch as they are usually sold out by 1pm onwards especially on weekends.

Tried Mutton Mandi and really liked it. Mutton was torched which added a nice flavour and not gamey at all, mandi rice and spicy chilli / yoghurt sauces make it a well balanced great dish. Simple cafe serving 5 standard dishes (chicken mandi/ biryani, mutton mandi/ biryani and shank mandi). Friendly owners. Will return again to try the Chicken Biryani. My daughter & I tried "Nasi Mandi", a middle east recipe (a portion chicken + 1 mutton) at lunch today. Interestingly, it came in a tray (Dulang in malay) consisting 2 portions of rice, lined with 1 whole chicken leg, generous chunks of lamb (back bone but meaty), chopped veggie (raw purple cabbage + cut olives&cherry tomatoes), a spicy sauce & a sweet yogurt. This is our first taste on this combination. And we enjoyed it. Was perfectly prepared & cooked by the chef with pride. Great food & Excellent job.

A small stall with limited seats and quite hard to reach by public transport but the food is worth the travel. Be prepared to take away due to the limited seats. Take note about their short opening hours too. It basically only sells biryani and mendi/mandhi with the combination of chicken or mutton. The chicken and mutton are tender and flavourful. The rice are fluffy and tasty. Both rices have the smokiness flavour but the differences are in the spices. Biryani tends to be spicier and Mendi tends to be more fragrant. The seller is pleasant and friendly though looks like a bit overwhelmed by the orders.

The briyani rice is so fluffy and tasty. Chicken is well flavoured. The kumquat and sour plum are so appetizing. Definitely a must try. Next on my bucket list is the mutton and lamb shank which look so delicious. The chef will blow torched the meats before serving to his customers. Another must have is their teh tarik! Had one cup after meal and it was not enough. Ordered a second cup and third cup came shortly after. 😂 The tea is well brewed and right amount of milk and sweetness to my liking! This place will be one of my favorite place for both briyani and teh tarik! Take not of their operating hours, 11am to 3pm.

Best briyani I've ever had! I ordered a portion of the mutton briyani and a portion of chicken mandi. Let's start with the briyani. The rice is soft, fluffy, flavourful. The taste is delicate and well balanced. Fragrant with spices, yet not overpowering and not greasy. The mutton is to die for! Fall off the bone soft, tasty, no strong mutton smell. Perfect! And you get so many chucks of mutton! The mandi is great too! It is very flavourful as well! Less spiced (or at least a different combination of spices) than the briyani, more ghee and smokey! This is great for kids or for those with a more delicate palate. The chicken for the mandi is nicely seasoned and grilled with a nice char to the skin. Both the briyani and mandi are absolutely fantastic! The cook is very nice and friendly and takes pride in his cooking and it definitely shows in his food. Do come with patience you might have to wait, but it is well worth it.

Great food here! The mutton in the mutton Mandi is esp tender and the portion is big. A pity that we couldn't get to try the briyani rice as it was already sold out by the time we reached there. Would definitely come back again! (to try the briyani esp, hopefully we'd be lucky to get it)!

By far the best Biryani Ive had. The owner is super friendly and just look at the serving for one, its hefty!

Hands down the best Mandi ever, and I’ve had Mandi all around the world and Singapore. Rice is spiced to perfection. Meat is flavourful and generous. Great prices. Don’t waste your time looking for Mandi elsewhere. The only setback is the short opening hours (and if you’re unlucky, might be sold out before it closes).

Very interesting. We had the Mutton Mandi Rice. The Mutton was tender and juicy and the rice tasted just right. The Boss was kind enough to let us try a little portion of the Chicken and Briyani. All tasted good. There was a newspaper article pasted at the glass panel which states that even Gordon Ramsey 'approve' of his food!! Staff was all friendly and nice. No regrets going there. Will recommend to my friends who are mostly foodies!!

I've eaten at the aircon room, bought for takeaway for my family to eat as well as ordered for private functions for about 40 pax. Everyone loves the mutton mandi. Can't go wrong. Don't forget to eat with their delicious sauces. My recommendations is to reheat in the oven before eating. It'll bring out the smoky flavors! Yummy!!

Chanced upon this little gem of a place while I was in the area. Tried the mutton briyani and chicken mandi and both were really delicious! The chicken was so tender and the smokiness was on point. Tender meat jus fall off the bone type is yummilicious, just thinking of it, yumzzz...Visited here so many times, cos it's just so good! Well done to chef! But do note place is small and cozy, so do visit early during off peak timings to avoid disappointment.... If really no place sit, NVM ah jus tapao/bungkus, taste just as power la bros/sis! Lastly, they close early infact maybe last plate of rice maybe sold out before their official 3pm, so don't say never warn you ah...

The cafe provide a tasty and value for money briyani for those hankering for this indian rice staple. Chunks of mutton and chicken meat decorate the rice sets. Only open at lunch time, this is a gem of a place and great food discovery in the area.

Bringing to you the Arabian style biryani, this is a must try for biryani lovers. the setup is modest and is family run. For families, the biryani is served in a huge single plate (if the patron prefers) so that the family can partake the meal together. Also I would like to commend on the honestly of the cafe owner. Due to a glitch in Paynow system, I ended up paying twice for my order, realized it hours later, when I reached out to the owner, he immediately took all the details, crossed check his account and promptly transferred back the extra payment from my side.

Best Nasi Mendi, a small eatery but the food is worth to dropby.The Smokey Lamb and Chicken is perfectly cooked and the rice is fragrant and very delicious, top with the sauces to go along, a place you have to give a try.
