Reviews of Cantine by kopitiam
The sour cream was mixed with ketchup --> something I do not quite appreciate.
The Adana kebab is rich in aroma and flavour, plus being served with good portion of pita breads and butter rice.
Thus, if you are not big eater or extremely hangry, one serving is sufficient for 2 pax.
Laksa here was amazing and really big portion for the price. Not bad to get XLB here although the soup dried up inside didn’t hold so well
But if you need a quick fix why not
Ordered Turkish chicken chop from the Turkish Kebab shop. The dish was well seasoned and very palatable. This is also one of the cleaner kopitiams that I have been to.
This is the second time I ordered from the Mala store at the food court. I would say that the standard is quite consistent though it is expensive (as typically for Mala food). The slightly Mala version has a good balance of Mala flavour- something not overpowering that you can’t taste the ingredients and yet you still can taste the kick of Mala. Very filling portions, so would recommend having this to share with 2 or more people.
Super affordable food court with lots of local cuisines to choose from. May get pretty crowded during evening dinner hours. The staff at the Nasi Ayam & Nasi Padang stall are super nice and friendly too. We bought a bunch of malay kuih from them - super good and affordable.
Many cuisines here.. Japanese..Korean..Mala..Western..Indonesian..Yong tau foo... If ure hungry eat here.. no frills.. use the kopitiam card ..cheaper than published price.. yup and All HALAL....
Halal foodcourt with stalls offering a good variety to choose from. Pleasant clean eating area
Review on Turkish kebab Corner.. nice food affordable price for Turkish meal
The cleaning lady dropped the chopsticks on the floor and my sister stepped on it and fall. The cleaning lady doesn't admit her mistake. Floor is slippery and dangerous.
The food is not bad, but it's a bit pricey. While I was eating with my friend, the cleaner rudely pushed the trolley dustbin right in front of my friend face. It's not the first time this has happened; they have a habit of doing it, even though there's barely any space to move around.
Just wana feedback that the sambal udang from the stall besides nasi ayam is abit saltish...other than that the nasi ayam...best...and saw mala hotpot...its halal here as compared when I am in Taipei
Another Cantine outlet. Food is OK. Only lots of dinners and finding seats is like a mission.
Please lower down the full blasting fan from the aircon. Its too cold for comfort and makes yr food and hot drink, turned cold within minutes. 😬
Love place! Still have housefly if cleaner better.
Affordable food with many varieties.
The Mala here is THE best mala that i have ever tried in SG on top of that its HALAL. I did not really pay attention to the cleanliness or services as i was too invested in swallowing up the Mala. 10/10 would come back again.
Plenty of halal food to eat. Came here for sliced fish soup noodle during lunch especially during hot weather to enjoy the aircon too.
Super big Halal food court.. Variety of food choices from Western, Mala Hot Pot, Japanese, Korean, Nasi Ayam, Nasi Padang, Yong Tau Foo, Soup Noodle & many more! There's hot & cold dessert too!
It is a kopitian selling Malay-Muslim food only. No pork related ingredients at all. Food quality is normal as you can find in any coffee shops in Singapore except that it is air-conditioned n cosy. Prices are generally reasonable for the mass members of the public.
1. Layout of Bagus food court in North Point is very cozy
2. Cleaners waste no time in clearing tables.
3. Visited a halal stall selling Mala Hot Pot.
a. The style of them preparing/cooking your selected food items (Yong Tau Hu) style is superb. All cook in just right perfection that will suit your taste buds.
b. You have a choice of different types of noodles (Maggie, Ramen, Home made)/Soup (Spicy or non spicy)/Dry (have different levels of spiceness - I recommend lvl 2) to go with it.
4. Need to take note: 2 × portions of any type of noodles can serve 3 - 4 pax (just nice). Do not over order food items as they are cut into smaller pieces. A just right meal will cost about S$25 for 4 x pax to share.
4. If you have a Kopitiam card, it can be use in this stall. The cost of Mala will be about $2 lesser. In fact the card can be use for all other Bagus food and drinks stall.
5. The Mala will suit any individual's taste bud and chances are that you will go back for more again
It was nice and clean with all the usual variety except Indian. Prata Wala is pricy for nothing. I would prefer to see one Indian stall within Bagus so that I can enjoy Halal Indian food at a reasonable price
They have many outlets serving different kind of food which is halal certified according to muis certification.Diverse meals available japanese, korea and hotpot mala at some outlets.
All food stall so far are fine ...
Variety of foods. Western food is good. Can be expensive for some of the foods. Overall would rate 8 out 10 dining here.
Excellant spread of food varieties. However seating are is kind of small and cramped.
Clean, neat & well-adhered safe distancing of patrons especially the dining sitting areas. Food stalls tidy & well maintained.
Many Halal Varieties under one roof
I LOVE IT!!😍
Today i eat mee rebus very nice..and drink hot cheng teng very nice..
Very BAGUS! So many choices of good foods. Clean food place and i am a regular eaters there. Keep the good work!
Affordable & wide variety of halal options. Also has student deals which are very reasonably priced
Variety of food. Ban Mian is good. However the air conditioning is too strong and the room cold.
Plenty of choices. Tried most of the dishes, quite good. Seats do get limited at times.
There are more varieties of food vendor before. Now is CANTINE instead of BAGUS
Counter staff attitude are very much better than kopitiam food court.
Food choice is good .
A full halal food court. Very nice food court to eat around.
Alot of variety of food from Western food to local delights superb quality food and hygiene recommend 👍👍👍👍
Mom wanted to try Churros w tea today, but offer not available..
Always not enough manpower to serve in the drink stall.. And not enough manpower to clean up the table. Poor aunties probably have to overwork all the time.
Happy day with nice food... We really enjoy our Chinese new year
I like the korean food. Nasi padang was good.
Ok ok la. Not all stall for halal certificate yet
Love the Yong Tau Foo. Better if you can add more varieties to it.
Mala very shiok, best to be eaten with company:D
western and yong tau foo stalls are good
I came on saturday, and by 10am all food is ready
The Mala is halal....superb delucious
Clean and bright. Cooling environment. Friendly staff.
One huge air con duct is blowing furiously at a sitting location
Very delicious food there.
Great but not many options, kopitiam at basement is better
Not many ppl here. Perfect!
Variety of Dish and Halal.
Clean.
yummy yummy yummy
nice food
Varieties of food
Love the " Pau Set" 😋 2.50
clean. The toilet is very clean. Fresh and fragrant smell. The price of food in the restaurant is a bit high. Star-rated restaurants are expensive and have few goods.
Awesome dude
Must try the the stall selling Turkish Food, it's simply delicious 😋
It was my 1st time trying out and was recommended to try this dish as it's 1 of their best-selling.
It was really good~ I will definitely revisit and try out their other dishes soon.
And not forgetting both the chief and the lady who recommended this dish are very nice & friendly too.
