Reviews of Casa Roma
I guess it’s quite authentic Italian? Not much seating capacity, so do call in to check or reserve before you make the trip down here. Overall experience is good, enjoyed the food here.
Newly launched plant-based Italian Menu! With such awareness and demand on the rise, Casa Roma has created a 100% plant-based vegan menu in support of the ‘Green Movement’. I love that many of their food items are made in-house, from bread, vegan cheese, to their vegan meatballs!
This restaurant was established in 1996 as Ristorante Roma, and is now known as Casa Roma. During the last 20 years, they have worked with many Italian chefs from Piemonte, Roma, Napoli, Puglia and Sicily, carefully maintaining the traditional Italian taste and quality. Each dish is carefully prepared with the best ingredients imported from Italy and Europe to maintain its authenticity.
Indulge in this unique Italian plant-based experience for a special price of $55++, where you will be served a set of thoughtfully curated 5-course meal, as featured here:
Minestrone Soup with in-house parmesan cheese and bread
Panzanella Salad – house-baked bread with tomatoes, greens and a delicious dressing
Spaghetti Pomodoro with their signature in-house vegan meatballs
Sun-Dried Tomato pesto gnocchi
Indulgent panna cotta with a berry coulis
They also offer hand-picked House Red or White Wine at only $10++ per glass. However do note that most dishes contain allium and cannot be omitted, so as to maintain the right taste.
If you need inspiration to plan a Valentine's dinner, do book early because of limited seats and their offering of the same prices without surcharges.
To book this unique Italian Plant-Based experience, please PM or WhatsApp them at 82928020.
Lastly, another good news! You can first shop at Everyday Vegan Grocer, which is just a stone's throw away, before dining at Casa Roma. And by spending above $50 at the Grocer and producing the receipt, you can enjoy 10% off vegan selections at Casa Roma. Wow! Shop vegan, dine vegan.
Quaint Italian restaurant with friendly service. Pizzas are delicious and thin crusted, big enough size to share as well. Tried the bacon onion pasta, good taste with a spicy kick. Great value with entertainer app too. Perfect for a cosy family meal. Only drawback is the starter bread, not warm and not toasted.
Lovely homely little restaurant in Turf Club with excellent service. We ordered the crab meat pasta, wild mushroom soup and pizza and everything tasted delicious. We'll definitely be back
Quaint little Italian eatery with extremely friendly staff. Pasta and pizzas were really good and presented good value for the price. Would recommend it.
*Q4 2019 update*
They’ve moved to turf club now, and food remains good, but it’s also nestled among local indigenous food shops so their quiet elegance struggles a little.
we finally made it here last weekend, with other family members. We had to sit outside (fine previously because trees buffered the traffic noise, and they allowed dogs). Now, outdoor seating is located under exhaust systems of some sort so any good smells will be masked by the stink of reused cooking oil.
Service also seems to have taken a hit - the friendly Indian guy who’s been there for years (as referenced by other reviewers) looks unhappy and isn’t as patient.
Also when I called to require on availability a few weeks back, some guy (not the old timer) was almost entirely coherent, it was annoying. I’d rather pay full price than have them be on entertainer and offer mediocre food or expand into coffee ......
I think it’s still a good place with 1 for 1 apps, but if I’m paying full price I’ll go to V, in the next building.
Moral of the story: make your booking in advance on weekends so you don’t get grumpy outside.casa Roma is quietly elegant, but even that can’t stand out when you’re marinating in the fumes of someone else’s Zichar fumes.

We’d been coming here as kids. Moved out of the area, didn’t come back for years. Went back today, found the food as hearty and delicious as the last time we came. The waiter was a little older but he looks happier. We will be back! Hopefully in less than a year
Food was absolutely delectible. Location was kind of hard to get to but it was worth the walk. I ordered the gnocchi and it was very pleasant. The sauce had a rich flavoir and the lasta's texture was nice and chewy. Staff was also veey friendly
Delightful meal. Fourth time here and its really good and consistent. Great service too!
Awesome experience! We tried the pizza and bacon wrapped pork. So good, my 2 year old had almost 3 slices of pizza! Really good hosts too! We felt very welcome here. Will definitely come back to try the pastas 🙂
Cosy ambiance with tasty food and friendly staff. Thanks, Stephen for your warm hospitality. Also free parking at Turf City :)
2nd visit and definitely not the last. Affordable Italian food with reasonable portion.
Casa Roma is one of those places where you feel completely at home and you are welcome every time. It is one of those places you go knowing that the food is always good and reasonably priced. The pizzas are one of the best. It is my family's local trattoria and the only thing missing is the Italian mama chef who would give you a big hug and kiss on the cheeks every time you come. I am sure Chef would accommodate if requested. Yes, it is that kind of place. Warm and friendly.
This was our second visit and the food (pasta both times) was as tasteful and perfectly seasoned as the first visit.
The kids menu always good down a treat and the staff are very (kid) friendly and helpful. There's WiFi to keep the kids entertained, if needed.
The price is acceptable (it's Singapore after all). Wine menu is extensive.
We'll definitely be coming back.
First time dine in, food was surprisingly good and the chef (think name is Stephen) and the lady there was friendly. My husband and me rated 5 star. We will definitely come back again
My daughter's fav place for carbonara and Panna Cotta since she was 4 years old (she's in her teens now).
The staffs are friendly but do excerise patience as they can be understaffed at times.
Food is decent, location a little remote.
Delicious pizza (Pizza Della Maestra) and Squid Ink Pasta. Pizza is better than other expensive Italian restaurants (shall not name) and nonsense pizza chains you usually find in shopping malls. Came here on a Tuesday evening and am surprise that there are only 2 tables occupied. This place deserves more customers for the quality they serve! Although I came due to the entertainer app, but I’ll return and pay full price for it.
For the hungry run after these cravings, and your stomach knows that you need them. But seek ye first their Porcini pizza and it's deliciousness and all these Italian things will be added unto your taste buds. Therefore do not worry about the bill, for the bill will worry about itself. Each person has enough money of his or her own.
Service is on the gruff side, and food is decent while portions are big. Reasonably priced with entertainer but ultimately, Pasta Fresca has better ambiance, better service, and frankly better food.
The food and service is great! Love the crabmeat pasta! Their specials, the scallop is nice and fresh too!
Nice chill vibes at this place with nice food. Ordered the seafood pasta and it was great. Light tomato base with that shellfish taste
Good and authentic Italian! Small and cosy really had a good meal here.
Memorable and attentive service! fresh pizza (della maestra) and gnocchi (vegetarian). Will go back!
Went here with friends and were very happy with the service and the tasty Italian food. Not too bad considering we are not in italy
Good food. Good service. They just had two servers though who were busy running around with a full house.
Decent for a quick bite - but there are better quality Italian joints in the Bukit Timah area.
Good pizza and risotto
One of my favorite local restaurants. Pizza Pasta are original flavor.
My first time in Casa roma.. good experience to taste Italian food. Very nice food...
Love the italian ambience. Food are nice. Service is top rated
Been coming here for the last 20 years, it's my bench mark for Italian food.
Is a very good place to dining in... Really good service too...
The food is Mamma Mia nice location
Excellent service and food for over 10 years
Not bad, the food variety is limited.
Food was so-so
Cozy place. Decent food and drinks list.
Great pasta
Service slow
Excellent food!
Delicious chicken pasta
Pasta is good!
Very good!
A shop run by a Japanese owner. I visited for Sunday lunch. It was smoky from the outside and I was nervous to go in, but there was a decent amount of people coming in. There wasn't too much air conditioning inside, so it was comfortable even with children. Ordered pasta, pizza, and kids plate. The kids said it was delicious and ate a lot. I thought the taste of the cream sauce pasta in the kids plate was especially delicious. I especially liked that the kids plate came out first and that there was a Japanese menu.
