Ordered the sour soup based with beef slices and the mushroom. With less oil and less salt. They definitely done the less oil and less salt part. The beef slices are thick and great portioning. The sour soup base is a little diluted, believe mustard be because of the special request. The enoki mushroom in it is generous. Ordered the cold dish which the vegetables are so fresh. The sauce which is mixed with eggs is super salty, but after put it on the cold beancurd skin, adding some vegetables, it’s well smoothed out on the saltiness. One of the best Chinese restaurants at the Holland V area. The amount of portioning is great and good for a big party. Dining environment is great too. Staff super friendly.

I was abit apprehensive when I saw that customers get a discount if they leave a google review. However, I decide to give this place a try. Upon arrival, the restaurant was spacious and clean. They even made an effort to accommodate to my vegetarian relatives with special orders and they still tasted great. We ordered the cold cockles, signature crayfish, grilled skewers, salted egg pumpkin, shredded potato.. etc and none was a miss. The crayfish was definitely bigger than the usual store bought ones and they were filled with so much flavor. I highly recommend this place and will definitely be back for more. If there is any room for improvement, it will be food speed (we were informed that they will be slower due to manpower) and to remove the rainbow sprinkles on the salted egg pumpkin (just looks odd).

DISCLAIMER: The high google review is because the owners offered a 5% discount if customers rate 5 stars. Here’s my honest review: The skewers were so-so, but considered very expensive ($1.80 per stick, excl. GST and Service charge). We also ordered the fried spicy chicken cubes (La Zhi Ji) - portion was quite small, just a lot of chili (which was $26++). Overall I’ll give it 3 stars, but food was overpriced in my opinion.

The portion is astonishingly small, can’t believe why there are so many positive comment. these plate of chives worth 5sgd already? The beef screwers are also in little amount. The taste is not bad, but better go to Chinatown for BBQ,

Came here for team dinner, the food were delicious and the service was excellent! The boss David personally took our order and recommended some dishes. Super friendly! Highly recommend to try the signature crayfish, sichuan popcorn chicken, sauerkaurt fish, garlic battered chicken and the skewers! Good value for money! Will definitely come again!!

Was introduced to this restaurant by my friends and I came back again 2 weeks later with my family. Food is so good and service is great - staff was very friendly and always checked in with us if everything was ok. Absolutely loved the skewers & egg grilled plant. The portion of the Paper baked fish is huge, super worth. Dishes can take a while to be served but worth the wait. Will be back!

The food was delicious. As good as I thought it was gonna be! Really loved the garlic eggplant, beef skewers and toast the besttttt. Service was a little slower cos it was full house, but I appreciated that they informed us of the delay way in advance.

Great skewers! The gizzards and beef skewers are particularly good. They use fresh meat, not frozen and you can really tell the difference! 🤤 ⚠️ Warning though, the 烤鱼is very spicy 🌶️ 🌶️ 🌶️ (even at the 小辣 level) ⚠️
