I am soooo happy that I wanna cry!! I found the moon tart that has been Mia since Harbour City Restaurant stopped selling it. The same baker who bakes for Harbour City is now at chekitchen! Couldn't resist the aroma and tried a piece of it in the car. 好香，好好吃哦！Crispy tart skin+walnuts and not too sweet lotus with salted egg yolk. My mooncake festival is now complete 💖

So happy to find the moon tart from ex Harbour City. 心心念念and thought can never eat again. Can smell the aroma even though the tarts are in the box. Too kan Cheong to eat so only has the picture I took for Grab Express to help me deliver to friends. 😂 Only bought 1 box for me and family. Should have bought 2. 1 for me and 1 for family. 🤣 Can’t resist it. Go again to get 2 boxes. 🤣 The gift box fresh from oven and need to wait around 30 minutes to cool down. Smell more good.

Delicious chilli crab and sambal Kang kong. Love dipping the mantou (fried buns) into the thick chilli sauce. The sambal kang Kong was tender and not overly spicy.

Service is quite slow but affordable and wide varieties of Zhi-char dishes. Love the claypot laksa, mayo prawns roll and salted egg chicken. The cheese noodles just taste very weird! I expected it to be a thick consistency sauce but who knew it came in a bland milky soup. 3 stars because I don't think I'm keen of coming back here for the long wait. Would prefer to go two chefs eating place or yang ming seafood which is nearby too.

Not sure why rating was so low. Despite the service. They have huge menu. Looking at my spread, besides the KangKong, the rest are delicious, well flavoured.

Despite reading a lot of low rated reviews here, however i decided give it a try as this place has been highly recommended by friends. I had arranged a business dinner here, we enjoyed a lot al afresco dining with wide selection of beers. Most of the local may not enjoy outdoor seating due to heat, however it is cozy and breezy at night to have meals + beers in this ambience. My guests and I had a wonder evening here with delicious food and warm service. Personally I wondered why those bad reviews were given, however give it a try yourself to check it out. And if you like HK taste, you should be here!! I am truly impressed to have these dishes in Singapore, it is definitely rare and precious! Shall return soon to have the seafood set meal, omg i love seafood, fresh seafood!

Lala seafood white bee boon was amazing, 1.7kg crab (we had it black pepper style) was also so so fresh! Would be back but will give the eggs, appetisers and laksa a miss and focus on what they're known for! Fuss free and "Al fresco" dining, miss such laid back dining atmosphere in Singapore

Had the drunken prawns, gui fei chicken, yam ring, laksa, cai po tofu, HK steam red snapper. All nice. The only bad ones were the oyster omelette and the crab meat fish maw soup. Oyster omelette really just feels like cook by a kid that mixed up some onions, some oysters .. nothing nice. Also the soup, fish maw not wash properly and the soup is basically tasteless. Feels like just cooked with plain water.

The environment is the best thing about this place. It's located at the corner of an industrial area so it can be pretty cosy and quiet if you're looking to chill, have some beers and have a good conversation. Their dishes are alright. Huge portions and decent taste. However they have some dishes that were not up to expectations. I always find myself visiting here and never being able to finish my dishes because the portions were huge but the taste just did not live up to expectations.

My fam of seven always loves to come here to eat during the year for any celebration cos the food is fresh and delicious. Price at the end of a satisfying meal is also reasonable! We had the following dishes this time: steamed fish, drunken prawns, prawn paste chicken, long beans for veg, tofu cum minced meat/cai po, oyster omelette, drinks, plus rice...came up to about $170 during CNY.

The seafood white beehoon is delicious and the small size is good for 3 adults. Other zichar dishes also on the menu. May be trying their laksa beehoon or crab beehoon in future visits. One server can't be bothered to take the order for another drink - just said not available and walked away without giving us chance to order other alternatives:-( The outdoor seating is a cooler place to sit under the stars but is marred by some tables with smokers and non smokers have to put up with 2nd hand smoke..extra ingredients to their food here 😜

Crab beehoon, seafood beehoon, chili crab are all very delicious. The shepherds pie and chicken pies are also very good. Very reasonable price, always enjoy their food.

Cheap & good 👍 Must try their Roasted Chicken, Lala Prawn Bee Hoon, especially the Laksa Crab Bee Hoon. We added stir-fry French Bean with dried shrimp, pork buns. You may skip the Prawn Omelette The eatery seems turnaround from the bad publication last year. Very worth for the delicious dishes at affordable price

It was my first time to eat at Che Boss Restaurant. The overall feeling was pretty good. The waiters were very kind. The food cooked by the chef was delicious and affordable. A simple plate of stir-fried vegetables was full of "wok flavor". The transportation is also convenient. You can get there by car or bus.
