Best tze char restaurant around … ordered their red grouper… meat for fish porridge and bone for stir fly bitter gourd with fish bone..orn ni (Yam Paste) is another must eat..

Talented chef, so quite a few well executed dishes in this place. Beef horfan, wax neat fired rice, san bei chicken, 4 king vegetable and salted fish brinjal are good. Prices are fairly low for the quality. However, taste can be quite inconsistent when chef owner is not helming the wok. Often way too sweet or salty and once even tasteless. The place can be more inviting better noise control as it is way too noisy at peak hours

It's closest to home cooked food that you can find. There is no msg in the food and the taste is genuine. Had their signature lobster porridge. The lobsters are very fresh and the size is around 300gm each so the piece of meat is quite decent. The 3 eggs vege dish is very good and so is stir fried red garouper filler meat. The tofu is really smooth and you can actually taste the bean. Price is very reasonable.

Great place for lunch where they offer lunch sets with a drink for around $5-7 depending on what you get. The place itself would benefit from some sprucing up especially the toilet as it can be somewhat dirty at times. Apparently famous for the lobster porridge but I have yet to try.

It is difficult to get it done just right all round in a tze char place generally. There will be some nice dishes and some mediocre ones. The dishes with prawns were quite memorable because they were fresh and crunchy and sizable making it super enjoyable (we had it in cooked with spinach and in an egg omelette). On the other hand, we had the cabbage wrapped chicken and although the gravy was good, the chicken was pretty dry. All in all in was a enjoyable meal there helped by the air-con. However, it was not life-changing good. Because it is out of the way, I do not think there is a need to specifically travel there just for restaurant plus parking is a pain the ass as the streets are narrow, lots are limited. Public transport does cover the location but that usually involves multiple changes of buses unless you stay nearby. Will not be back but if I just so happen to be in the vicinity this can be a consideration.

The lobster porridge is a dish not to be missed. The lobsters are small (approx 300 grams costing $27 per piece), but blends perfectly with the stock . Another must try is the marmite pork ribs, it's just fabulous. Try the white pepper crab is you take spicy food. Prices are very reasonable and without GST charge.

I like the second day cny gathering. The booking a week ago for us is 1045 to 12 cos others booked earlier got 12 o'clock slot. As this is cny period any slot is good for us cos we just need a place to eat with iur loved ones. The food is average but the memory lingers a long time.

The best lobster porridge in Singapore: Teochew style, tasty soup with a hint of ginger taste. Service is really good, flexible, great for kids. Their beef hor fun is also quite good. Highly recommended.

Food is decent especially the lobster porridge. However, the toilet is a big turn-off. Old and dirty which affects the customers’ appetite to eat. Please do something about it.

We had two types of hor fun. The beef hor fun was excellent and very generous portion for its price. The seafood version was also full of 'wok hei' with generous ingredients like it's beef counterpart but taste wise a tad bland, perhaps affected by the strong black sauce flavour from the beef hor fun.

Despite the 2nd day of CNY, service for dinner was pretty good. The clam white mee is tasty . Overall a satisfying meal with drunken prawn soup ( "delightful" ) mamite pork ribs ("decent" ) samba kang Kong ( with the right texture)

Interesting dishes like salted egg pumpkin prawn, stew cabbage wrap chicken in claypot. Dont be fool by the blend look of the curry fish head cause its spicy & yummy. But the Yam paste is ex, $40 for a small tub, roughly min 10 pax if each take small amt.

Chinese style restaurant with ostrich meat- definitely a must try. Issue might be the location, place is a little hard to get to without a car and parking might be an issue sometimes during peak hours.
