Been wanting to try their steaks for the longest time so made a reservation for a friday dinner. For appetiser, we had the Hokkaido scallops and Foie Gras. For mains, we tried the spring chicken, iberico pork chop and fillet mignon paired with fries and grilled asparagus. For dessert, we ended with sticky date pudding. We really liked the scallops, pork chop and of course the beef! Total bill came up to about $370 for three pax. Overall, love the vibe of this place, service crew were pretty attentive and friendly too. Will return again to try other steak cuts.

We celebrated our wedding anniversary at Cinder Steakhouse, and it was amazing! The food was delicious—everything was cooked perfectly, and we loved every bite. The staff were so friendly and really went out of their way to make our night special. A big thank you to Ramd for assisting us with the booking and ensuring everything went smoothly! They even surprised us with an anniversary cake, which was such a sweet gesture. Our two kids were thrilled because they got little treats too, which made them feel so included. The ambience was cozy and perfect for the occasion. Honestly, it was such a great experience. We’ll definitely be back and highly recommend it for any special celebration!

First time to Cinder last Friday evening; and I'd say it is on our new fave spot for steak and perhaps salmon lover. The only issue with this area is their carpark space. Cinder shared their space with next door restaurant, so even when Cinder is empty but their carpark space are full. The staff is friendly and attentive throughout the course. Ordered filet mignon with black pepper sauce, it was delish with salt and garlic on the side. The grilled salmon with roasted baby potatoes was another great dish. A Must Order though, is their Mushroom Cappuccino, it is one of the best mushroom soup I've ever had in a long time. They offer Set Lunch during weekday for 2 course / 3 course meal and I may return to have their Beef Bourguignons. Lovely dinner in a quieter ambience.

Amazingly tender and buttery steak. The scallops were cooked to perfection although the lobster bisque could have been a bit less salty. Wine selection that goes on forever as well. Impeccable service from the staff. Price is a bit steep but you would already know that going in. Will definitely visit again.

Came for Sunday brunch to celebrate my father's birthday. The brunch dishes were very good and surprisingly filling. I haven't seen many reviews for them but they're seriously underrated. We had the Farmer's Breakfast (very generous with the hummus and brie) and Smoked Salmon and Crab Frittata (just yum). We had a lovely Chinese lady for our waitress who was a sweetheart. I didn't get her name:( She took photos for us several times. (We asked the first time, she offered the next few times) And presented our (ordered) dessert adorned with a free candle and Happy Birthday topper with real delight. I had let them know when I booked under Special Requests but didn't expect anything. So happy we came.

We held our wedding lunch here and both my wife and myself are extremely satisfied with the service provided. There was zero negative feedback we received from our guests, food and ambience were just perfect and we are glad we decided to hold our wedding here. Big shoutout to Billini for being such a great host, she was very attentive to details and accommodative to all our requests. The event wouldn’t be so smooth without her support! I came early to have a cup of coffee and soak in the atmosphere of the colonial building, recharging my spirit with the delicious quiet. The service was wonderful and very personal, with staff attending to our requests with cheerful smiles throughout the night. I Ordered the individual cuts: Fillet Mignon 200g & Ribeye Black Angus 300g. I personally like the Fillet Mignon !!! You can try the Fillet Mignon if you are at Cinder ! Nice ambience, polite staff 👍👍

Went on a friday night and it was really quiet with perhaps about only 5 tables filled including us. We ordered the porterhouse which came to us cold so we sent it back and it was warm tho i expected it to be sizzling or sth. We felt that it was still average despite the number of sauces provided. We also got the cream spinach and the truffle mac and cheese. The spinach was slightly crunchy which we suspected was not cooked fully and just mixed with the sauce but we were fine cus the sauce was really good. The mac and cheese was good too with the truffle smell being really prominent tho we wish the portion would be bigger. PLEASE DO NOT GET THEIR DESSERTS IT SMALL AS HELL FOR $18. The chocolate lava cake felt like they used 711s so ya. Paid $320 for everything including wine and cocktail. The service and ambiance was really good so we enjoyed our meal. Overall, can come and try their other dishes perhaps.

Very nice entrance to walk through. Came here on a Friday weekday and only less than half filled. Ambience is good and comfortable. Service is awesome. Staffs are very attentive and polite especially one of the waiter constantly check on us to ensure all is good. Food took pretty fast to be served. Food is good. No complaint from appetiser to dessert. I enjoyed both the appetiser, having their own distinct taste with one is salty while the other with a hint of tangerine fragrance. Personally I prefer the Kurpbuta Pork Chop over the short rib and dark chocolate praline over the tarte. Overall worth a visit and definitely will be back again.

Went to Cinder with my wife on 09/09/23 to celebrate our anniversary. Nice and cosy restaurant, serve by friendly staffs, the foods are good too. Can't deny the price is on a higher side. We order the bread basket, lobster bisque, yellowtail, scallop, ended with wagyu steak. Total cost is S$273, felt worth it as it is only once a year occasion.

I was there a second time for a birthday celebration. To my surprise, they remembered me even though the last visit was 5 months ago. The food was quite good, with their Haku Wagyu Sirloin and pan seared scallops as what I would recommend. They do have a very decent wine selection as well. Ambience wise, it's a pretty serene location and cosy interior vibe and there is a place for music just below as well. Service wise, definitely one of the better ones that I've been to. Special mention to Ling who was very attentive and prompt. We enjoyed that.

Travelled back in time to the colonial days in this restaurant housed in a black and white bungalow~ Set luncheon available and service was premier. Good selection of wine and spirits. Whole day Happy Hour on Tuesday 🥳 Live performances resuming if looking for a place to Chill 🍹🥃🥂

Nov 2022. Was here again. Always my first choice when i was in this part of SG. I invited a long time old friend here for set lunches. I was sure the restaurant made an effort to refresh the menu. I chose my mains to be scallop risoto and my friend had her roasted barramundi. The antipasti were good too, we had soup and some smoked duck. Our conversation was about work, ex-colleagues and her 1 yr old baby. 2hr was hardly enough :). So much to share, so much to reminisce.

Service was good. Sides and starters were good. Porterhouse steak was under and barely warm when it reached the table (butter didn't even melt sat on top of it). Which for $170 is pretty poor IMO. And requested medium was barely medium rare. Wine was great, but can't give a lot of credit for that. Lava cake was very good, so we ended on a high note.

Special shutout to manager Ram... he was hospitable and gave very good recommendation. Our first time here, even though we visit wheeler estate often, and find it a memorable night. Thank you for a great 2023 Christmas dinner

Food and atmosphere are good for sure. Service needs vast improvement unless you have a different set of reaction to dress code and the type of car diners drive. Perhaps one day I should drive my alpha car instead of my 4th car, change into smart suit with my 70k watch and dine at cinder which is situated at a remote part of Sg. The young lady at the reception, you are working in F&B, in Sg. You have a preference for certain foreigners it is your choice but don’t forget where you are, who you are working for. Do not judge some one based on clothing and car. It’s written all over your face lady.

Enjoyable dinner tonight! Four of us shared an order of 300g Ribeye MS3, Petite Poulet, Barramundi Bouillabaisse and steak cut fries. All were delicious. The steak was a standout. It’s also Ladies Night so all of us were offered a free glass of Prosecco. Service was attentive and our food were served quickly. Definitely worth a return visit.

Great Service.. Food was good too Couple of mistakes which could have been overlooked but manager did something which is not reflective of good hospitality.. 1) Red Snapper was undercooked (Pink Flesh inside) 2) It took a while for food to arrive >>So they gave us a 15% discount and a bread basket to compensate which they did without us asking so that was very nice 3) Later realized they didnt serve us one of the dishes but billed us for it >> Called back to see if something can be done. Manager says the charge can be reversed but he has to cancel the discount he gave earlier.

Really excellent, you get what you pay for. Pretty pricey and most meals come without any sides which have to be ordered separately. These are not cheap however are large portions suitable for 2 or 3 people.

It's our first time there, reached near 6pm - didnt enter as we thought there will be staff to waiter outside + plus we looked into peep window it was quite dark inside & there was no one. My husband and I celebrated our 4th wedding anniversary at Cinder and we were impressed with the impeccable service that Cinder had to offer. Ramd was observant and was quick to suggest an excellent drink to pair with our food. And the red wine he recommended went well with my perfectly pan seared duck. My husband ordered the spaghetti and his dilemma on which beer to choose had a happy ending with Ramd's thoughtful recommendation. Thank you Ramd. Apart from the impeccable service, the food was not only affordable but every ingredient tasted really good with each bite. We will be heading back soon for our next epicurean adventure at Cinder.

Went to Cinder for a date night with my wife yestersday. Good quality and reasonably priced food, great ambience and excellent service by the staff there. Also had a nice conversation with famous "Jess" in the reviews. Friendly and approachable. Overall a great evening and will certainly visit again.

This place does not disappoint. My third time here in a long while but food and service still very on point. Had the crab benedict brunch and colonial breakfast that turned out super delicious! Very comfortable and soothing decor and seating, with friendly and hospitable staff. Def recommend this plc but do make a booking as it can get really crowded!
