The food was great. We mainly ordered chilli crabs, fried rice (this was alittle bit salty), Sambal kangkong (this is a MUST try), and prawns. All the food tasted great and we really enjoyed our dinner. The crabs were only $48 for two (sri lankan crab), really worth it.

Wonderful cosy place for crab and seafood. The crabs are as good as other more popular places but they are absolutely great value for money here. We paid about $36 each for 4 mid sized crabs - cooked in 2 styles: chili and stewed beehoon, prawns, clams, crispy baby squid, guiness pork ribs, claypot beancurd, sambal kangkong. I definitely will bring tourist friends here from now on. No need to pay $100 to $120 a kg for crabs.

Must come for their $38 for 2 crab offer! Crab done in numerous ways. Amazing great value and very well done. The other dishes we had were really good too. The group was all smiles with bulging tummies leaning the place. Will definitely be back.

All the staff were amazingly patient and friendly despite a full house booking on the night before Mother's Day. We arrived at our reservation time of 6pm, took 10 mins to confirm the orders amongst ourselves and the staff was finally free to take orders at 620pm. All tables were full, waiting for dishes and waiting to order. All their dishes were amazing and we would definitely return again. We ordered their popular black pepper Sri Lankan crabs, steamed clams with garlic, stir fried prawns, century and salted egg soup with vegetables, crispy fried baby squids and 4 soft drinks. Overall rating 4.25. Food 4.25, Value 4.5, Service 4. $38 for 2 500g Sri Lankan Crabs 4🌟: we chose the Crab beehoon. The Crabs were fresh, sweet, fleshy (thin shell) and not overcooked. The bee hoon somehow lacked flavor and expected umami/seafood taste. If you like yours less salty and more subtle, this is the style for you. The salted egg yolk chicken 3.75🌟, as it like a "lite" version of the dish. Would have preferred more salty-sweet balance. But the good thing is that it does not taste oily. The pork trotter beehoon 4.5🌟 was the highlight for me. Good balance of flavours, not oily or jilat heavy, every mouthful bursting with pork broth. The beans in their special bean sauce with a raw egg to be mixed in 4.25🌟 also another favourite for me. Crunchy fresh beans contrast with the piquant sauce. All this food including Chinese tea for $110. Service is a little stretched in the pandemic situation but courteous. Ample Parking at Macpherson lane car park @ BLK 83. Very limited lots in front of restaurant.

Fresh Crabs! Didn't expect such fresh crabs for a 1 for 1 deal. Crabs were 500g, slightly smaller than your usual Crabs. But..... the Crabs were so fresh! Crab meat was sweet and it shells out whole and plump. Great soup stock. Truly superior. Marmite chicken was good. Prefer it without bones. Slightly on the pricier side. Not much meat. Kai lan was too salty for us. Can cut back on that and add more garlic. Great experience tho service was lacking. Took a long time to serve us because they forgot to key our order.... Will visit again to try other items.

Amazing price point with 1-for-1 crabs! Every dish was super good and the highlight is definitely the cereal prawn & crab! The service was fast and good as well. We managed to get a seat on a crowded Sunday even though we booked online but didn’t get confirmed. Please reserve your seats earlier 🥹

Ordered the 2x 500g crab for $38 in black pepper flavour. Black pepper was flavourful and crab was meaty and fresh. At the price point - it’s value for money. Limited Parking available along the road but you can park at the public carpark down the stretch of shops.

Seafood are fresh, especially like the Lala, so fresh and big. Taste wise not bad but of cos cannot compare to those restaurants specialised in ceabs. We ordered crab beehoon, chilli crabs and buns, half chicken, asparagus, yam paste and fish slice, all are small dishes, it adds up to ard $S231, not cheap but still ok. The service is good, restaurant not so big but cosy, only thing is parking. If you drive, you can park at the public carpark at nearby hdb flat, if you are lucky enough, u will beable to get parking lots along the main road. Not a bad place for family dinner or dining with a few friends.

The black pepper crab taste not bad but salted egg crab fail. Dont know is it because of takeaway, the salted egg sauce harden causing it thick n tasteless. Steam butter squid is good but just too little and price abit high. The rest, prawn, veg, garlic pork consider not bad. Overall the price just abit high.

Crabs promo at $38 for 2 x 500 grams sri lanka crabs. Both crabs need to be cooked in the same sauce that you choose. The black pepper flavored crab is savory and nice! There is ample meat for this good price paid. I would say it's really good value for money. The kai lan vegetables are fresh and crunchy. Instead of charging a service fee, they charged a cover charge of $1 per pax instead.

The black pepper crab was exceptionally good, big and chunky with lots of eggs, weighing 1.35kg this morning. But the three cup chicken need lots more Taiwan basil to be at par with those I tasted in Kaohsiung. 05/05/18 A relatively small air conditioned restaurant with less than 10 tables. Food is above average with high end dishes I.e geo duck, shark fin soup. The crab bee hoon is rich in flavour but overly wet/moist. 1.4 kg cost about $95. The fried pork taste similar to prawn paste chicken. The rest of the dishes are ok. Will visit again to try other dishes.

Decent Chinese seafood restaurant. Enjoyed the hard cheong gai (prawn paste chicken)). Try to avoid the middle aged male mainland server who spills tea and doesn't understand anything. Make sure to call in advance to reserve crabs. Made a Quandoo reservation but was asked to cancel the reservation when we arrived. Went for the 2 crabs for $38 deal but were informed that they had run out of crabs. Ordered the bamboo clam - at first, wanted us to get 2 of the $13 clams. Saw that there was a jumbo clam at $16 which we wanted to choose and share as we planned to order more seafood. When we said we preferred to get only 1 of the $13 bamboo clam, had to check with the kitchen and they agreed to do so. Also ordered 2 black pepper crayfish - apparently the minimum order is 2 pieces and only 1 cooking style per 2 pieces. Total bill for 1 bamboo clam, 2 pieces of crayfish, mantou, and hot tea was about $50. The staff was apologetic about the lack of crabs and advised us to call direct to reserve next time.

Nice place if you would like to get a quick fix of your crab craving, but do note that their crab is relatively small. I ordered black pepper crab which is very nicely done. The black pepper is well infused and not oily like how most places do it. Other dishes like the salted egg chicken, and cereal prawn are also very well done. Restaurant is relatively packed, so advised to do booking even on weekdays.

Tried the crab promo @$38 for 2 Sri Lankan crabs. Had it braised with beehoon. Crabs were meaty, fresh n sweet. According to the restaurant, they weigh abt 500g each. The beehoon unfortunately wasn't flavourful enough. Still overall, very good value for $. The pork trotter beehoon, was really good. So were the salted egg chicken n 4-season beans. A bit understaffed n we had to try hard to get their attention, but the service staff were still friendly.

Homely ambience in a small clean shop. Steam bamboo clam and Hongkong style steam lala is a must try. Braised trotter bee hoon is good, although it's using canned braised trotter. Credit goes to their own made sauce for the bee hoon. We had a 2kg crab steam with egg white and wine. The egg white gravy taste good with the accompanying ginger strips. Generally all the seafood i ordered were fresh and sweet!! Qing Long vege a little overcooked, however, the dish is tasty. Hmm... service is average and don't expect too much.

A small but most preferred restaurant where the signature superb braised Crab Beehoon is a must when ordering your meals. The Plater in which Smoked Duck, Stout-Fried Pork Rib, Teochew Minced-meat Prawn Rolls and other combinations served as excellent starter. The preserved guava is uniquely seasoned to draw out your taste buds. If your prefer the Salted-Egg Fish Skin served with Kai Lan, this is another not-to-miss dish on the menu. All-in-all, good food and menus must pair with good wines - The Singapore-brand Portugal Albago Wines which comes stylishly with the Singapore Merlion Icon. Come to Crab @ Bay for your excellent food and wines at value for money experience meals. You got to try to believe it. 😀😆😀👌👍🤝👏👏👏
