This was our first visit to Dajie Bedok BBQ Mookata, a halal-certified eatery. They offer three different soup bases: Clear Soup, Mala, and Tom Yum. We chose the Tom Yum, which is self-made, and found it to be robust and unique in flavor. The crayfish was very fresh and sweet, and the marinated chicken was excellently prepared. The service was swift. We will definitely be back for more.

Awesome awesome food! Surprised to have found this place. Food is very very yummy and will definitely come back again. Service is good too, but some times when it is too busy cant blame them also. Recommend many people to eat here and try! Tom yum and mala soup is great

This hotpot place offers options to choose from sets (lots of meat or lots of veggies), but we chose to go a la carte. All of their meat and vegetables were fresh, and the uncle serving us was nice as well. I just wish the hotpot pan had a bigger space for the soup, but other than that, it was a nice experience!

Came here with my Muslim colleagues quite often. The tom yum soup for mookata can’t be found outside. Nicest!!! Confirm not those soup cubes. When I asked they told me home cooked by them. Wow!!

Kelvin service is very good and the best thing is he interact with his customer to find out if everything is ok. His happiness check with us is superb. The other 2 malay server are also friendly and service is fast and good. Kudos da jie for the awesome dinner.

If you guys looking for midnight halal hot pot or mala you can go here they open until 2am. For hot pot got Set A (28.80) and Set B ($38.80) i choose set B can share up to 3-4 pax if you are small eaters. Got this Chinese uncle he so friendly I couldn’t catch his name but he so helpful for suggesting us wht to get since we are first time there. The soup is free refill btw. And if u guys think the set are not enough for you all you can go with add on ala carte also. For sure will come again and explore other menu. Can just walk in except of public holiday mayb need to do for reservations or call them directly :)

We had Chong Qing Grilled Fish. It is definitely one of the better halal mala place in Singapore. And probably the first offering halal version of grilled fish. It tastes really good. Staff were very friendly and suggested us what to choose. Highly recommend!

It’s our go to steamboat place. We recently tried their Mala and it was so good. Their service is excellent. Always a good time with Kelven and the other Chinese guy (i forgot his name). Highly recommend Dajie Bedok - affordable and delicious!

Good food good customer service from Mr hassan, he offered to pack our food as i underestimated the order for 2 pax . I order the mookata meats 200g x10 types of meats, whereby he knew we unable to finish it. Thanks for the help on packing the leftover meats. Great service by him and service crew. Keep it up.

First time trying out the grilled fish mala. It was tender and filling. Reasonable price, as well. Service-wise, staff were patient to clarify the menu.

Ordered grilled fish in sweet and sour sauce but the fish came deep fried and it took very long although we were the only customer there. The fish was quite tough n hard…. The sauce really needs improvement. The seating is outdoor which is quite hot n stuffy. That said, 5 star for plenty of zabalang ingredients included in the grilled fish and service was attentive.

Owner was friendly and accommodating. Wanted to eat mala and we had small kids with us. He informed us that he doesn't mind if we order from other restaurants if what he has on the menu isn't suitable for the kids. Ended up ordering mala for the parents and fried rice for the kids. Both were flavourful and tasty. Recommended!

The best bbq hotpot place with the best clear soup base and the best meat served. Every ingredients served were very fresh and good. Every flavour of the chicken, dory fish and scallops are my favorite. Must try!! Even my in laws who don't really like grilling stuff. Also love the food. The Mala there is literally the best in Singapore. Go down and try and you will know what I mean. Very flavourful and their portion is huge. Have bought it a number of times and it has never let me down. Will keep going back for more! 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼

This place deserves a five star ! Yummy marinated meat , fresh seafood and the Tom yum soup is really good! Boss is really friendly , comes by and ask us for feedback on his chilli and also gave us free samples of his new marinated meats! Took our constructive feedback with grace 🙏🏻 Friendly staffs, fast and efficient service! We even have a free chocolate scoop of ice cream from chocolate origin with a spend of $30. You need to come and experience !

Staffs and service are very friendly. My wife and I had a great chat with Kelvin last night. We ordered mookata set for 2 and the portion was perfect! Double ordered the wagyu beef as well. The tom yum broth and 2 kinds of 'sambal' served was yummy too. Unfortunately i didnt take any photos to accompany this review. We both were busy digging in..haha! Definitely coming back with friends and family. Aiming for the mala on my next visit.

This mkn place was superb! The owner, Boss Kelvin, was awesome with the customers. He personally came to our table, to explain the contents of the Thai milk tea with ice cream that we ordered. The tea was super delicious with the home made ice cream by Dajie themselves. The foods was excellently delicious😋😋😋🤤🤤🤤They also throw a compliment drink and heart shape meat for the birthday boy👍👍💓. Bro Kevin warn us not to go for his 7 star spicy cause really spicy. We nego w him 5 star cause the mala everywhere else in SG is just weak la. But siol this mala 5 star really too powerful already.
