Reviews of Dalcomhan Bam Korean Restaurant East Village
Came here on Friday, 15 July, at around 6:00p.m. The Dumpling soup was fantastic (I did add ramyeon noodles as well.) The food really reminded me of the time I went to Korea. All the other dishes also look fantastic. The Dumpling Soup pairs well with both the Rice and Ramyeon as well! Overall, the food was great. The lighting was rather unbalanced, with the middle row being slightly dimmed and the two side rows being much brighter. Service was slightly slow, but nevertheless, they seem happy to work there. I even saw a staff memeber dancing to the music!😎 Overall, the restaurant is fantastic and I might come again...
We ordered a bulgogi & octopus steamboat and saw that it cost $39.50. But the food ordering app required the addition of a meat (beef, pork or chicken) at $9, soup at $5 and ramyeon (or rice) at $4. Total bill $58.15.
Nothing wrong with that but I would have preferred upfront showed me the price at $48.50 and I just choose any of the items in the respective category. Overall, I’m still loving it. The soup was spicy and drink until sweat. Just nice for 3 pax and the kimichi and lettuce were superb. Thanks for the free drinking water too. Second time here and we made sure we don’t over order. Ha
When I thought this is just another Korean restaurant but it is not😊.
We ordered cold noodle, ginseng chicken, cheese pork ribs and fried chicken. My personal favorite is ginseng chicken! The chicken is so tender and the soup is very fragrant. Rare to get such soup in Singapore. Cheesy pork rib is tender and the taste is kind of special.
Hubby forgotten to take back his credit card and the staffs immediately called to inform us. The wonderful ordering system which we need to input our contact has save us the day.
Thank you for the delicious meal and service. 👍
An authentic Korean restaurant, I pretty surprised with their standard. I am not a rice cake fans and yet I like this cheesy spicy chicken with rice cake a lot! Beef Bulgogi also pretty tasty, top up $5 vegetable set and you can free flow the side dishes. I like how they present the fresh lettuce, again, you can ask for more if not enough. I will definitely visit again! 👍🏻
Honey butter chicken- very juicy and flavourful, boneless!!!
Chive with chilli pancake- crispy at the sides
Spicy cold noodles- taste not to our liking but taste quite legit.
Waiter did not hesitate to help us top up side dishes.
I liked the kpop music at the store, chill vibes here! 😉
Damage done $60+-
From the outside of the restaurant, you may not know is Korean food as the glass are so dark. Haha 😂 But this is a place to me will recommend for Korean food, it is not those BBQ place. But they do serve BBQ in hot plate. The side dishes was tasty 😋, portion was reasonable. Meat are well marinated. Will sure come again 👍. Overall is well worth with the price. The service was fast and friendly. Maybe to be is one of the better Korean restaurants around there. The environment was also clean and cozy. Able to accommodate larger crowds, but may need to book in advance. Evening gets crowded.
Clean environment and BGM was at a an adequate volume.
delicious banchan, the side dishes are changed often enough so it's not repetitive.
Been here a number of times, food always hits the right spot. Whilst the prices may seem a bit more expensive but the portion makes up for it.
This time, opted for cold spicy noodles with beef and BBQ spicy chicken.
Left satisfied and full to the brim.
The best Korean food in SG. Now I wouldn’t want to eat from any other Korean restaurant again. Those are fake food 😜 except DalBam. All the food we ordered were so yummy 😋 totally worth the $$
came during peak hours and the place was very packed. luckily, their friendly staffs were quick to make a table for us and we got our food quite fast as well. every side dish was very good but i wish they turn up the aircon more as it was quite stuffy during that period. overall good food for a decent price 🙂
Nice, cozy little Korean restaurant at East Village. Portion size is large, good for sharing. A good variety of side dishes and are refillable. However, it takes a few tries to get any staff’s attention. We waited for 35 - 40 minutes for the main dishes to be served.
Came here for dinner after having Korean craving. Side dishes are excellent although slightly heavy on the seasoning side. Food took awhile to arrive like 25-30 mins. But the staff is nice enough to provide us a complimentary drink. Overall a good experience will visit again.
Food was great and tasty. Prices are reasonable too. Went in on a Sunday night and the place not too crowded. The soy fried chicken is delicious, will be back to try again.
Food is really really good. We had the butter chicken (as good as meungdong), and the sides are as great. The cheese gimbap is ok. Portions are big. Too many nice options to try. Will come again.
Had a great time today after a disastrous grab order that went wrong.
Great food here, sweating abit haha cause I ordered the spicy food.
Staff was very very attentive and polite - ordered something with cheese, and requested help to remove it, was accepted with a smile (the male guy with specs)
Army stew was drying up and a lady approached to top up water so it was less starchy (thumbs up! - the lady with a Philippine accent)
Good vibes, great korean feels. Fluffy steam eggs!
Ordered army stew, fish skewers, gimbab and some mixed noodles. It came along with like 9 korean side dishes. Refreshing and guess work what were eating haha. But still, like a family fun time guessing what's that. But still nice!
Sorry no pic! All makan finish already haha. But I guess, you'll love this place!
We can for a quiet dinner on a Tuesday night near closing time. The spicy BBQ pork was spicy but sweet, and went down very well with rice. The sides were the bomb!! Recommended!
Food is authentic and affordable! Especially their lunch sets. Side dishes are generous and especially loving the Tang Su Yuk.
Food is flavourful and close to authentic Korean tasting.
Though I wished the service was more fulfilling. Lack the attention and initiative.
A surprise find in simpang bedok area. Food are well taste and very pocket friendly... will want to try the army stew next
Authentic korean taste. Chicken, dumpling soup, japchae and pajeon are great
Had a wonderful dining experience at Dalcomhan Bam. Excellent service crew, polite, kind and efficient.Food was good. Would have given 5 stars instead of 4 coz some the dishes were a little on the sweet side. Ban chan was very good.Orderd the BBQ pork, slightly less sweet would be perfect. Seafood pancake was excellent. The egg with corn and cheese was sweet as well. Overall was good, will return to try other dishes.
First time dining at this restaurant. For 2 pax, we ordered the JjaJang set which includes
Tangsooyuk & Fried Dumplings. Was greedy and also ordered Potato Pork Rib soup & Seafood pancake for variety. Liked that we could customise the spiciness for JjaJang and the dumplings. The fried dumplings were crispy on the outside and very juicy inside. The meat used for the tangsooyuk was very chunky and the batter is the slightly thick kind. Overall the tangsooyuk was good. The pork rib soup had very generous servings of ribs, meat was stewed till it just slipped off the bones but the soup was a bit bland. The winner was the seafood pancake: crispy on the edge and soft in the middle with lots of egg in the batter. The side dish of kimchi served was also very yummy. The service staff were not just polite & welcoming but they were also attentive. Was so focused on eating that we forgot to take any pics this time round 😅 Am glad that we discovered this Korean restaurant in the east; rather than have to go all the way into town into Tanjong Pagar, this will definitely be one of top choice to satisfy our Korean food craving.
Second visit. Ii highly recommend for lunch for their lunch set price. Their food is delicious.
Food is good. Good service. I like their presentation. But this 🍷 drink is waaaaayyyyy tooo sweeeet. Minus 1 ⭐. #plumslush
I love the Jjajangmyeon here and also their spicy tuna kimbap. After moving to the Bedok area, I was no longer able to order from my favourite Korean restaurant in Katong and its very hard to find good Jjajangmyeon. So I'm incredibly happy I found this place.
Love the varieties of Korean food here! Slightly pricy if you don’t have the lunch deal. But portion here is quite big. Didn’t face any service issues here like the rest as the food came fairly quickly (the garlic fried chicken was served piping hot). Will be back for more
While I'm not qualified to vouch for authenticity, food sure is pretty (Korean) good! Side dishes are great. Value for money.
Ordered army stew and hot stone bibimbap.
Food was tasty!
For people who don’t eat beef, their army stew is great cause they don’t use beef broth. That is really a big plus point for it!
Banchan was really great too!
너무 맛있게 잘 먹었습니다!
Good job on hiring the right group of service crews! A lot better than the ones you had when you first opened.
Good service and nice food.
If you wish to eat the Korean food that looks as great as those seen on TV, this is it.They also serve a generous portion of side dishes.
Food was decently priced, banchan was very decent. Will explore other places in the area but eventually I will come back again.
Good authentic Korean food, have been here at least 4 times now. Tried a wide variety of their dishes and they never disappoint.
Love their set lunch deal. Service always great . Hidden gem in Bedok
Nice ambience, good food, we now have a nice Korean restaurant in our area
Great Korean food and free flow sides! Highly recommended, have been here multiple times
Food and service both great. The banchan is amazing 👏 😍
Good food, great price. Wide variety of choices and the side dishes are so fresh
Delicious, flavourful food and was surprised by the many complementary sides given!
You don’t have to go all the way to Tanjong Pagar Road to go to a Korean restaurant. The food here is really delicious and the portion size for one person is huge. Absolutely the best!!
Pig's feet and gamjatang are the best.. twice a week
Let’s go eat gamjatang. Everyone eats chicken, but the gamjatang is really crazy ㅠㅠㅠ… . I wasn't expecting it, but it was better than what I had in Korea. 😆
Wow, there’s a Korean restaurant on the east side!!!! I thought it was a fake Korean restaurant in Singapore so I ordered just the pig's feet, but it was really good! It's a shame that there is so little kimchi, but I will order it often!!!!
I wanted to eat delicious Korean food to celebrate March 1st, but I was happy because it was better than I expected. 🥰 I had chicken ribs and fried rice. I want to try other foods next time.
The food is so delicious and the price is so reasonable!!👍👍👍
The service was good so I had a good meal.
I need to come once a week
