“Hidden” gem for great food and decent selection of drinks. Cozy environment with friendly and attentive service, making it too easy to pop on in for post-work drinks and staying on for dinner. The menu items are nearly all made from scratch, showing a dedication to serving quality food. Tempura is a must try, and the prawn ramen is a nice twist for those tired of the same old tonkatsu.

Awesome service. Great ambience to hang out with friends. The spicy chicken winglets were really awesome and addictive. Located upstairs from the boat quay street with a great view of the river.

Very underrated gem with excellent atmosphere, drinks, food, and service. The owners’ warm and friendly demeanour further enhanced the overall experience. Definitely will be back! P.S. It might be difficult to spot the place but it’s located above the ground level.

Absolutely amazing place. Have been several times and will continue coming back. The food was super delicious, great quality Japanese staples, very flavorful and juice. The vibe is comfortable and the staff is kind. Everything from food to alcohol is priced amazingly, definitely recommend checking it out.

Found this absolute gem by chance and we were very pleased with our experience. Excellent food quality, immaculate service. After dinner we spent some time on the balcony for drinks and took in the amazing views. Thanks for an unforgettable evening, definitely coming back.

Outstanding services from Ms Rose. She is very attentive and friendly and making our experience wonderful. Chef Jack is definitely a big surprise. I requested for no pork soups based in the prawns ramen. He delivers the best ramen I can possibly get in Singapore. Please order their ramen if you're there together with the prosperity sake that is outstanding. So easy to drink and the very special service you're getting at dark horse is what is missing in Singapore I cannot end this message without praising the New shop owner Mr Peter from Australia. He decided to take over the place because he used to be a customer and also received the same type of service as I am. Is my first visit to Dark Horse And I will be their regular Because food service and pricing you can't get more in Boat Quay Happy Cheng, Si and Chris

Great place to watch the sunset with friends in Singapore on level 2 above the boat quay. Really enjoyed the food especially the range of delicious options and the staff gave great service.

Found this place walking by and couldn't resist the oyster deal. Boy, what a treat that was as they were some of the largest and juiciest oyster in Singapore! The sashimi, meat skewers, and drinks also were a real treat. Great service and views as well :)

The oysters are really big so I think the price is ok - 6 for $24. It’s not the freshest but it’s still ok The okonomiyaki is alright only but it’s too thick. Definitely not the best in sg

Celebrated my father's birthday there. Lady-in-charge was very nice and kind, even gave toys and free cake to my nephew. The Chef even prepared an on-the-house special dish for my father. The view is wonderful and we could see the fireworks as well. Food is delicious too.

When to Dark Horse during weekday lunch time. We ordered the salmon don and a pork katsu as an extra side dish. Salmon don presentation was lovely, love the rice too, and the pork katsu is DA BOMB!!!!!! DELICIOUS! This definitely won’t be the last time that i’ll be visiting Dark Horse, cos the food was amazing! Please remember to keep up the good standard and staff working there, pls smile more 😆. I’ll post pics the next time round I visit Dark Horse! hehehe

Boat Quay is usually noisy on the first floor, making it difficult to chat with friends while eating, but this place was perfect for a private dinner. Located on the second floor and featuring a small terrace, we were able to enjoy delicious food while taking in the beautiful night view. The food was of high quality and served quickly. It's a great place to order a variety of snacks and have a drink with friends. Personally, I really enjoyed the skewers, and the oysters were large and fresh.
