Love the herbal duck. It's just the right texture and not to dry . The duck meat soak the herbal sauce, which makes it delicious. The meehoon just the right taste and with a half dry half wet taste with make it feel good eating it with additional special pepper taste. The rest of the dishes are also equally tasty. Nice overall.

I am extremely impressed with the entire team at Causeway Point, from the time I entered till I left. My mother and I entered quite late, but they served with a smile throughout. Being very attentive and observant that I was carrying a lot of stuff and with my elderly mother as well, they assigned a comfortable seating area for us. Patiently giving us time to order our food and serving to our every needs, I am just impressed with everyone in the team. Food was served quickly, and it was delicious. When my mum started coughing, they quickly spotted it and got her a glass of warm water. This experience surpassed the already gold standard i expected of DXE. I had a bad day at work, but the team brought a smile to me. Keep up the good work! All the other branches should emulate this branch.

There are many DXE outlet. This taste the same and as always taste good. Recommend the dang gui roasted duck, it was crispy and yet savoury. The sauce taste so well mixed with the white rice.

Restaurant has always been consistent to deliver good quality food. Came at dinner time and there was a queue, need to wait about 10-15 mins to get seated. Drinks are refillable if order hot tea. We ordered all dishes in smallest portion, to get a decent variety of choice. For the smallest portion of the salted egg prawn contains only 7 pieces. I was disappointed, I wish it has more prawns! But…. Because I ordered the smallest size, so it is actually reasonable that the prawn given only 7 pieces ~ food taste amazing! Perfect for Asian elderly parents. Total cost about $140

This chain never disappoint with their food; from taste to variety. The herbal duck is a no-brainer if that's all you want, but they have a good selection of vegetable, tofu, seafood, and soup to add to your meal and satisfy your cravings. Great place for family meal or a gathering of friends and such cuisine is best enjoyed with people you love.

My previous experiences at DXE was not as pleasant compared to now. I stopped eating at DXE because of that. This year, I have went to eat at DXE multiple times and observed the difference in their Service Standards, it has improved by Leap and Bound. In the past 1.5 Star. NOW 6 Stars❤️. I am very impressed. They have become more generous in terms of food quantity and prices in my opinion. Food quality has improved in my opinion too. Keep it up DXE, if this continues- you can represent Singapore and put DXE in the world very soon.👍👍

The duck was definitely the star of the show. Paired with the chilli sauce, it was amazing and its skin was crispy. The mongolian pork ribs was great too, unique flavour. Fish maw soup and the wheatgrass tofu was nice. The only ordinary dishes here were the staples (fried rice and noodles, both did not have the wow factor). Great dining place overall!

We came here for lunch, and were very pleased to fine an excellent lunch promotion for two at $38++. The lunch set comprises of a meat dish, a vegetable dish, a tofu/egg dish, drinks and rice. The signature duck was excellent, as always, and we were pleasantly surprised by how delicious the Kailan with lime was.

Went there on the last day of Chinese New year and have my 鱼生 with mom. Also order their famous roasted duck. Food were delicious though a bit pricey. Recommended!

Went for dinner on Wednesday night at around 8.20pm. Ordered the set meal for 2 paxs @ $61 before service and gst. They closed their cashier by 8.45pm. And requires diners to make payment at the cashier. Would suggest if they can bring our card to the cashier instead of diners queuing at the cashier while eating half way (food turns cold after the queuing and waiting at the cashier). Other than that, portion and taste of the food were great. The Auntie who took our order was nice and polite. After placing our orders she came back to double check our orders with us to make sure everything was alright.

It was a pleasant process to order takeaway from them. The turnaround time was fast and prices are cheaper too. After ordering online, a staff called very quickly that one dish was unavailable and offered a close alternative. When my son reached there, the dishes were already properly packed in a large carrier bag - waiting for collection. There was no spillage or leakage of sauce. Taste wise, the food tasted better when I dined in as compared to takeaway. However, I understand that this is inevitable and quite expected. I appreciate the convenience of buying takeaway so that I can gather at home and dine with 5 unique visitors, and also it the immense hassle of preparing, cooking and clearing. To spend more quality family time, we only need to clear away the containers and wipe the table after dining. I paid S$345 including GST for 12 dishes of large and also medium sizes. It is good value for money. It worked out to be about S$44 for each of the 8 pax. It has been a good Ta Bao experience.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank waitress Wen Li for her professional service during one of my dining experience with Dian Xiao Er. Despite the busy dinner crowd, she was seen smiling throughout the entire service and was extremely courteous and friendly. As it was my mom's birthday, we had a cake that needed to chill in the restaurabt. She was very service oriented and attentive enough to ask if we needed the cake to be served discreetly as a surprise. During service, she also checked in with us occasionally on our well being and to see if we needed to top up our teas. I was shocked to find out that she is a new crew for she had displayed a professional level of service. Her smile was definitely the highlight of our dining experience. A precious jem to the service industry!

Great experience at Dian Xiao Er again. Both service and food were excellent. The atmosphere was nearly perfect - it had a really cosy setting for its diners, except for certain spots in the restaurant that were a little too warm.

Food standard didnt go far off from other outlets. Will still give 5/5 for food. As for service wise, we were initially attended by a mid age woman staff who was not attentive. We requested for 3set of children cutlery and 2set of fork/spoon for adult but she came back w 3set of adult cutlery for children. Please be more attentive and look! 3 young children and she gave those heavy cutlery and ceramic/glass plate. All these while her face seem to be unhappy, she was also quite impatient. That was a killjoy even before our meals started. Other staff were nice and pleasant. Special appreciation to a male staff by the name Han __Guang, didnt get his name fully as he was attentive and fast. He was clearing another table but stopped and came to take our dessert order when we asked for assistance. He moved to clean to our table immediately so that we can have proper space for dessert. Prioritzation was right as there was no one else in queue. He was also very polite in his tone. Service with heart and brain.

i'm not gonna lie, i usually joke about DXE being the sg auntie's favourite so i don't usually patronise. tried the lunch set ($36+) today at my husband's insistence and i polished off every dish. dishes are well-executed, the duck is tasty and the taste of the herbs is not overwhelming. kang kong was done well, hotplate tofu was good, appetiser of otah was good too. truly well worth every cent spent!

My wife and I go there to eat 3-4 times a month. Except for 1-2 of the waiters who have a bad attitude, the rest are very friendly. We like the food, but it's a pity that they stopped selling pig's knuckle vinegar.

23/9/22 The service is professional and the recommendations are very good. The staff are very enthusiastic and the food tastes very good. I remember there was a waiter named Jordan who was attentive and patient. Thank you to all the waiters at the woodland cwp store for their enthusiasm and allowing us to have a pleasant meal here.
