Reviews of Din Tai Fung
Din Tai Fung’s quality is always reliably good (/good enough), though there are more value-for-money Taiwanese joints out there.
Food is always fresh and we'll prepared whichever branch we visit. Service is fantastic too given it's price point. Service staff are always enthusiastic and well coming .guess that's why there's usually a queue at all branches almost throughout the day.
Service perfect, food taste perfect, perfect cleanliness. Extremely elegant place. Love every single dish from xiao long bao to nai bai to prawns egg fried rice. Prawns is super sweet and come in a good quantity. Will definitely come back everytime.
[Visit in 2020/2021] Din Tai Fung’s consistency in every outlet is amazing - always a good meal here. Our usual dishes include Pork cutlet and prawn fried rice, pork dumplings (小笼包), vinaigrette chilli oil dumplings (红油抄手)and nai bai (奶白).
Be prepared to queue during peak period, the queue at this outlet is slightly shorter than the other outlets.

Very consistent service and once again the XLP were the stars of the show.
Good ambience. Love it for their non noisy environment. The food is good, kudos for the food quality. However the serving time is long and slow even though it’s not very busy at the time I went, here the 4 stars here. Hope they can improve on this.
Maybe this is my own preference, but the food is just so-so.
Probably one of the best branches to visit if you don't want to wait for too long for a seat. However, many of the chicken dishes were not available here. As always, their xiao long bao and duck pastry were really good. Special mention for the beef noodles as a good non-pork meat option. They also have a vegetarian menu section. New chocolate buns were good, but I felt that the bun was a bit too thick while the chocolate was too diluted. Steamed cake was not worth getting. Drinks are also a miss, and it's best to stick to the usual Chinese tea, in my opinion.
Chyun thong was polite displayed exceptional service and attentiveness.
The food were all were consistent and good standard.
Enjoyed dining experience here. 🙏🏼 Thank you!
Was told 25 min wait but it was shorter than that. Staff were friendly and helpful. Food came out promptly and quality was good for this branch. However did notice the portion size of the drunken chicken looked a lot smaller than previous time we went. Hence one star down for that
Favourite place for dumplings. Food is always amazing! Service can be slow as it is always busy (only reason I am giving 4 stars) food alone is 5 star. Recommend the pork fried rice, pork soup dumplings, chilli wontons, yam bun and pork bun!
The staff were very friendly and efficient. Food was served promptly and fresh. Reccomended.
I ordered Xiao Long Bao and Crab Xiao Long Bao, which are super nice as always! Staffs are super friendly. But I witnessed a situation where a foreign couple asked for a knife to chop up the noodle for the child. The staffs didn’t handle it well, but I understand that you can’t really expect a knife in a Taiwanese restaurant. I do suggest that the restaurant can prepare some scissors or knives for foreigners who ain’t good at using chopsticks, which also maybe quite handy for parents too.
Liked the fact that they replace "damaged" xiao long baos and took pride in their food.
A little pricey but reasonably ok food quality, and service
super slow service. took super long to serve the food.
food was okay. dont know why the xiao long bao was already quite cold when served.
cant go wrong with fried rice
Unattentive slow service on a fairly empty weekday late lunch. Xlb always good. Always love the pork chop, lean and tender. About a tenth of the menu were unavailable.
Always consistent in food quality and prices are fair across all outlets.
Xiao long baos are a must. Hot and sour soup is also good and portion is just nice for sharing.
Mince meat bean sauce lamian was good too!
Family favorite as always!
Food Amazing as ever. Service a little slow they forgot my hot and sour soup. Still, I can deal with it!
If you know the taste of Taiwan branch,I won’t recommend you to go there,I don’t mean you’ll get disappointed with their taste, just ok.
Personally Crystal Jade was much better.
The standards are consistently good. Food is always delicious. The new chilli crab xiaolongbao is heavenly.
Maintain their standard 👍. Came after 1pm and was still quite crowded.
Gracious and quality food, good as always ♥️
Love the outlet at Centerpoint. It is usually not crowded.
Great food, very tasty!
Greatest dumpling (specifically Xiao Long Bao) place in the world.
Even the Kai Lan is dericious, my kids loved them.
Get the Xia Long Bao, Siu Mai, Fried Rice and Chicken Wings.
They do charge $1 for a cup of water, that's disappointing, but prepare and take your own and everything else is amazing!
Great food. There is always a line of food lovers.
Din Tai Fung never goes wrong and this outlet is consistent in its standard as most DTF outlets you will find throughout most cities. The staff is friendly, Sevice is fast and food is good. Recommended for a casual lunch or dinner with family, children and friends. Expect a bit of a wait in the evenings but still ok
Just like everyone else says, the Xiao Long Bao is most excellent. Service was friendly and prompt. Great selection of dim Sum all of which was Super-tasty, even the fried rice was yummy. Not the cheapest place but worth it for a treat.
Not very crowded at about 4pm. However, had to wait about the same amount of time as during peak periods for the order to arrive. Started to get crowded at about 530pm but they still have available tables around so there's no need to queue.
Somehow the standard of food has dropped quite a lot. The fried rice and dumplings are smaller in portions, and the famous dumplings are small as well and not as sumptuous as before. Rosette drink is also quite sweet too.
Excellent food, delicious and all well prepared..
Good service and courteous staff.
Value for money.
Best fried rice till date in Singapore.
Great service and food! Didn’t really fancy dtf last time but totally a convert now. Staff very attentive and helpful. Found us a great table seeing that we have a baby with us.
Service is fast. Had dinner in a group of 6. Food are served in less then 15mins. Dinner timing 7pm. Din tai fung has one of the best fried rice
Maybe we ordered the wrong things, but I thought the food was very mediocre. Ordered the chicken, prawn, and crab dimsums. Underwhelmed, had much better in other places. The prawn fried rice was good.
Din Tai Fung never disappoints, super consistent in terms of taste and service. My regular choice is the Pork cutlet fried rice with wantons as a side
Shrimp Fried Rice is always the best! 1 plate might not be enough to share because it's that good. Recommend to try it next to their infamous Xiao Long Bao
I was alone plus ate late around 8pm. Peaceful place, tables spread widely and I love the attitude of the servers, very attentive and cheerful.
Food is always yummy! This outlet is not as busy, especially if you come a bit earlier, just before 6.30.
One of the best places for dimsums and egg fried rice. The quality of food is very good. Chilli padi mixed with garlic and soy sauce is a must try with dimsums.
Sobs... they are gonna undergo renovations very soon.
Our fave dude there.. minaraj (i know it starts with M and has a RaJ in it..) will be heading over to paragon... so we will try that branch.
Btw it is DTF, THEY NEVER GO WRONG
Despite the long Q the standard of their food have always been consistent. Nice place if ur looking for some comfy food.
I tried truffle xiaoong bao with disappointed cause the combination is not matched with Asian food
Food doesn't disappoint - but be prepared to wait for a table during peak lunch /dinner hours.
Very good noodles, dumplings and Vegetables. Fast service.
Sumptuous cuisine, nice ambience & good service
Good ambience and nice music. Food is average, portion is a bit small, for example, the drunken chicken.
We had dinner here, the food was nice but nothing too impressive.
Freshly made dumplings which tasted amazing. Very reasonably priced. Would definitely go back.
waiting time was quite long but still okay. would be good if food serve same time else will be watching each other eat.
The service was great at DTF as usual. Food quality across all DTF is standard and delicious.
The service is really good n better than other heartland branch.
The xiao long bao is superb and the fried rice, in my opinion, is the best I have eaten in Singapore
This outlet good quality is similar to raffles city outlet yet not many people 👍
Good consistent food. Service isn't their forte but the food makes up for it.
We always try to make time to come here whenever we're in Singapore. Must try their world famous Xiao Long Bao.
Love their peanut glutinous ball and xiao long bao! Friendly crews and good service!
Very Nice Place
Very nice fried rice!! With awesome xiao long bao
Serves a good range of Taiwanese fare at reasonable prices.
Delicious beef noodle and egg fried rice 😋
Pretty good food abit pricy
5 star food and very affordable price
Very good soup dumplings. Recommended.
When u need chicken soup. And dumpling .
Other than the dumplings the food was below average.
Not too bad, that means.. bad but not very much
My favourite restaurant to eat dumplings!
Great food and great service.
Good food, shorter queue
Nice food always
Good dumpling reasonble price
food order not available
Xiao long bao for the da long
kept his standard of taste
Food
Always 👍👍👍👍👍👍
Very good cuisine, the food comes quickly after you order. You place the order on your cell phone. The atmosphere isn't exactly Asian, but the food is great and freshly prepared.
A Taiwanese restaurant famous for their super juicy and colorful xiaolongbaos. There are 23 outlets across the island but this one at the Center Point is my favorite because it is spacious and you won't have much hustle to get a table. Dishes are delicious and the employees are friendly and helpful. Usually we order 16 xiaolongbaos, 2 appetizers, one veggie and rice dish for 4 members for the total 80-100 SGD. Kids friendly too. I recommend the Centerpoint store, which is close to Orchard and relatively empty. Not only is the food delicious, but the store is spacious and clean, and the employees are prompt and pleasant. The seats are wide, so you don't have to worry about bringing your children. For 4 people, we order 16-20 xiao long bao, 2 appetizers, vegetables, and fried rice for about 80-100 SGD.
Delicious Dim Sum, you can also see the meticulous way in which they prepare them. The hot and sour soup is also excellent.
The staff was friendly, the food was delicious, and the restaurant was comfortable. The price is a bit high.
Excellent experience, if you like dumplings... This is the place!
