Together with my friends and family, we have been dining in at Sakuraya for the longest time and I must say that the quality of food has been remarkable, especially since the restaurant is dealing with raw edibles like sashimi. However, nothing extraordinary has caught my attention until we encountered a staff by the name of Ah Long (I believe he’s stationed in the kitchen). He has a wonderful smile and all that I’m feeling from him is this energised attitude toward excellent service which led me to write this review. Even tho Ah Long is usually working behind the scenes in the kitchen, and he rarely interacts with customers, he’s really a solid guy! Really appreciate u man :)

Quality of food pretty similar to the other branches. But seems a lot less crowded here. Sashimi fresh and good as usual, able to select by yourself from the cooler section. Service was just average. The waitress who took order from us was extremely eager to leave for some reason, but the other staff were fine. Overall it was about $80 for 2 pax including a green tea and a beer. Would recommend if you like your sashimi fresh!

Food tastes fresh and expertly prepared. Service was prompt. Good standard over all their outlets. They should make the weekday promo clearer though. Only realised after settling the bill that the discount didnt apply to the sashimi in the cooler only to ala carte items on the menu.

The sashimi is soooo fresh. Super value for money. Alcohol here is pretty cheap as well, with the promos. During the peak periods this place is kind of understaffed though, but the staff always never fail to attend to us with smiles on their faces, and to their best ability. Maybe adding one or two more staffs during dinnertime will help ease the workload.

First time there, quite happy with the food. Sashimi salmon is fresh, the grilled squid is very tasty, beef curry croquettes is quite nice as well

Good sushi and good Salmon Don. The fish is fresh if not sliced a little thin. Water costs $0.5 and tea costs $1 (refillable) but the service is good. Price is a little high so look out for Eatigo discounts.

Visited this restaurant with the Eatigo 50% off promotion. Great ambience and the charashi was decent. Would be quite pricey without the 50% promotion though. Plain water was charged at $1 per cup.

Nice place but the price is on the higher side quality was good so worth paying the price. The staff was very cordial and helpful which is refreshing. The noodles was tasty and the shrimp roll had a nice flavor

Very clean seafood restaurant. It's a welcome addition to the variety of dining options found in The Seletar Mall. Staff looks very attentive and nice. Nice selection of seafood.

Decently priced fresh sashimi. Always good to be able to pick your own fish and they always have a good variety of fishes to choose from. The dons are not very fantastic so I'll avoid them.

Great value for what it is. No frills fuss free sushi place at affordable prices! 25 dollars for the Chirashi is a pretty good deal. Service was attentive and excellent !

Went over for dinner with my family. My Boys enjoyed it and for me the Kama was great. Perfect for the recommend sake by this staff. The energy of shop was very comfortable once you are seated. The staff are friendly in this Japanese shop with local flavours. Will be back soon.
