Reviews of Fork & Spoon @ Toa Payoh
All halal food, tried the pasta from this shop nice
Turkish (must try!), Nasi Padang, Mini Wok, Thai Viet, Western Food, Yong Tau Foo, Hainanese Chicken Rice, Ban Mian and Slice Fish Soup, Ayam Penyet and Ayam Bakar! Delicious and Affordable. FOR MUSLIM: TAKE NOTE SOME SHOP HAS EXPIRED HALAL CERTIFICATE.
Viet Thai Stall is very fast and good, usually order the Tomyam Fried Rice or Thai Basil Beef, today try their new Dry Chilli Cashew Chicken, thumbs up. Better than some zichar Gong Bao Chicken stalls at some Chinese stalls, and it's halal, my Malay colleagues can order too. Yummy!
Yong Tau Foo:
(+) Cheaper than regular food court.
(-) Lacks variety.
Thai Viet Cuisine:
(-) Phad Thai portion is big, but dry and not much ingredient.
(-) Salad is not fresh
(-) Tom Yum soup is bland.
ate korean food like the beef bibimbap $5
ayam penyet ok but the rice grain some abit hard seems like undercookes
I love all the stall here. The food Is great. Yummy... and the QQramen stall is absolutely nice and good service
Nyonya Cuisine stall at Fork & Spoon. Try up their Nyonya Blue Pea Rice. Choice of Chicken, Fish, Prawn and also with Petai Sambal,
Many halal food choices there
Yummy kebabs
Noisy place with good variety of food and Strong Air-conditioning. Prices are usual foodcourt pricing.
If you are in the area and looking for Halal food, you can come here for a pretty good meal
Usually don't eat Indian food outside, but this stall is a must try, especially the mutton curry, rasam 😋
Surprisingly beautifully decorated Nyonya food in a foodcourt....only 6.8SGD.....tasty n well balanced in taste... will return
Good halal food and great variety.
Above average Yong Tau Fu which come with fresh ingredients and good portion
This food court has new stalls with interesting food, particularly the Turkish stall. I think the food is authentic at the stall owner (one person) looks Turkish. They also sell baklava, a delight not often found in the heartlands. Wanted to try the Turkish Pizza but was not available do tried the chicken kebabs with butter rice. Not bad
You have a few good food options to choose from, and for the most of the time, they stay constant so the taste will not deviate. If you are eating there, it can getncrowded depending on timing, especially on work days.
Halal Food Court but the one handle this Ban Mian & Fish Soup today got mood (27 April lunch time). Take away fried fish noodle soup mixed them together. Usually the other one will asked if to separate the soup. If talk so much to her she will answered back I know!
The Japanese stall has coleslaw in replacement for their Kim chi. Previously they used to give Kim chi all the time. But now always coleslaw. Not sure if it’s western food or Japanese food. Seriously should not even serve coleslaw in their shop. So if u want Kim chi you have to inform them.. however bought from here many times because I actually like the food. Just really upsetting when u informed many times ahead that you want kimchi but was still given coleslaw and then they would remove the coleslaw and replace it with kimchi after. And at times when buying food home, even after informing that u want Kim chi they still packed coleslaw. Really disappointing as a customer who is a regular.
Excellent food court that serves halal food. Here, you can get your fix of Thai, Nonya, Western, Turkish, Chinese and Malay dishes all under one roof at economical prices.
The place was good. Variety of halal food in one roof. Clean. The staff are friendly and helpful. The price are reasonable.
Not sure if all the stalls are halal certified but seems to be targeted at Muslims with its "no pork, no lard" vision. Almost all the stalls have Muslim workers & there is a notably higher percentage of Muslim customers here compared to other Food courts. Location is rather obscure, on the 2nd floor of a building that could be easily missed, with only a tiny sign indicating its presence.
Luv the ban mian & dumpling there..& korean dishes..
Ban Mian and Fish Soup Food Stall and Ayam Penyet close super early. I walked in at 7.30 pm, and they asked me to hurry as they were closing. At 7.50 pm, their close their stall light. They were rude too, and the food doesn't taste good at all. Other stalls were still open when we left at 8.30pm.
Ban Mian stall now closes at 7pm when I walk in today, 4th June 2022. They close at dinner time! This is ridiculous
One of the best halal food court for me in Singapore, plenty of options and spacious. Always bring my family here
Mini Wok
I would recommend the curry chicken cutlet rice. The rice portion is quite big so dont worry about not feeling full
Viet Thai
The tom yam fried rice is probably the best dish there imo but I would usually ask them to change the seafood to beef which is nicer. The green curry and tom yum soup is also really good for the price.
Western
I have been ordering more and more from this stall. I order their mixed chicken and beef. The normal sides are coselaw and mash potato but I usually ask for fries and mash potato and its FOC. Their mixed fish and chicken cutlet is also nice but i recommend eating there because the mushroom sauce might make it soggy.
As of 22 april, there is still a mala stall but with no halal cert, turkish stall, chicken rice and ban mian
Great variety of Halal food, highly recommended. Surprisingly not crowded on weekday evening.
Descent food court. Not too large but complete. Hv different varieties of food: local, western, japanese n korean, turkey's kebab, chinese mala xiangguo. The malay's Nasi Kerabu (blue peaflower rice) is yummy
Loved coming here in fact once a month…if my family have sudden cravings for all asian cuisines once in a while. The plc to be to enjoy whatever your craving pangs are for be it malay, thai, chinese, Indonesian, nyonyas, turkish, western, Japanese korean etcs …not forgetting desserts…fruits …beverages n egg & toast..all under one roof…so no need to look elsewhere …v comfortable & spacious seatings.. will definitely keep coming back repetitively…
Fork and spoon has always been a nice place to eat out for lunch with your friends, partners and colleagues. The food was nice. I had chicken noodle soup. I wanted to get turkish food but they open at 1pm. I love the turkish food over there.
One of my family's regular places to eat halal food. I often bought from Ban mian stall. Try it with their red chili sauce. The malay lady server is very friendly.
A more quiet hideout away from the core central. Beware of the drink stall lady. We pointed on the menu signboard overhead and ordered a lemonade drink that costs $1.50 but she charged $2.00. we were caught off guard because she insisted that it usually comes in big cup by default. The one on display is a regular size. Bandit!
The food quality is dropping. Ordered the chicken thigh curry with bread and rice, the chicken don't seems to taste as good as before some 8 months ago.
Spacious but noisy Food court. Not visible to the public as it located on the second floor besides Court. Crowd are mainly elderly who like to come here drinking coffee and chit chat, similarly like the other Food Court on Tpy Central below HDB hub. The Indian Rojah was the worst I ever eaten.
Comfortable roomy aircon food court in Central Toa Payoh with various asian food choices from Thurkey, Thai/Viet to other local familiar...
Update 20 July 2022: Notice there is a mala xiang guo and a pao fan stall.
Update 8 June 2022: Other than the requirement to wear a mask unless eating or drinking, all safe distancing restrictions are lifted. No limit to number of people per table.
Update 20 April 2022: Now all entrances are opened. Each table maximum 5 persons. No one to check at the entrance but you must be vaccinated to dine in.
Update 19 January 2022: Stalls are still operating. Now there is only one official entrance - the one facing Courts. You will need to show your vaccination status if you want to dine in.
Good selection of food. All halal.
Variety of different cuisines in halal version.
All halal stalls! Many varieties from the variety of japanese, korean, chinese, turkish, vietnamese, indonesian and indian menu. Air conditioned casual ambiance food court.
All Halal certified food. Nice aircon atmosphere. A good place to eat with family and friends.
This food court is very clean and neat, and has many variety of cusines. I use the Koufu app to order food, it is so convenient and fast, there are many payment mode available, it is very useful in this post circuit breaker period of the Covid 19. Do support local business to help everyone get thru this difficult time together.
This one is at Toa Payoh. The kebab shop is a gem. Nice and healthy food. Skip the the Vietnamese Spring Roll. Taste like grass and soil 🤮🤮🤮
A halal food court. The chicken cutlet with spaghetti I had was reasonably tasty but it wasn't served hot.
Air-conditioned Halal food court. Thai, Western, Indonesian, Chinese etc. Unfortunately prices have increased after renovation - a drop in value for money.
With a wide range of menu, one is spoilt for choice in choosing from Korean/Japanese food to Ayam Penyet sambal hijau. Dig in and fill your heart's (tummy's) contents!
Halah certified Muslim Food Court run by KouFu group. Same floor as Courts. KouFu also run a food court at 2nd floor Toa Payoh bus interchange. The Jap stall serves a value for money Saba Fish set meal at $6
Good Halal food choices. But noise level extremely high due to acoustic problem thereat.
Spacious and abundance of varities of different country's cuisine. Clean and airy.
I ordered a dish; Beef Noodles. 5 star rating.
When I think of variety, convenience and affordability I think of Fork and Spoon when I'm near Toa Payoh central.
Not as crowded as hdb hub food court.. although food here all halah, there is still a wide variety of choices... Would come here again
Good place to have your meal if u are at Toa Payoh Hub. All stalls are Halal certified
Nice place with variety of halal food. Alot of options, nice and cheap.
Wanton noodle is sooooo worth it!
The Indian food is very nice and delicious. The naan is very well made. The butter chicken is very tasty, I recommend buying the naan and butter chicken
Favourite foodcourt in toa payoh. All Food halal.
Love it. If you are new in SG and want to try different HALAL cuisine, this is a good place to go.
Very nice food available and the bonus everything is halal.
Used to eat here everyday when I was in Singapore. The food was cheap but taste really good with lots of options.
My all time comfort food still here and the taste hasn't change a bit.. (chicken chop and chicken rice)
Halal food court. Wheel chair friendly. Lots of good food.
Good foods.many varieties to choose.quite spacious,air condition.
Wonderful place to eat. Nice choices of some halal foods.
Nice place and easy to find food and if you just dont know what to eat
Very quiet food court & I can get peace of mind while eating foods
Varieties of food, not quite crowded around 3pmduring lunch time extremely crowded.food price reasonable
Location is good just above Toa Payoh mrt....varieties of choices
Went there for lunch. Variety of food . Airton and place is clean . Good environment with good food.👍👍👍
Good food at affordable prices. Spacious and clean
Long ago didn't come here. Aircon is very powerful..
The Ice Kacang got no atap seed..🙁
Lots of varieties of Halal food at reasonable price.
Decent, air conditioned, food at reasonable price.
Many varieties of food cruisines that can be found here...
Clean foodcourt and all Halal food.
Xing jiang beef noodles is good
The environment here is good, the air conditioning is even, and the place is comfortable. Isn't it usually meal time? The general crowds are relatively relaxed. It's a more casual place to have a dinner date with friends. I often invite friends here to have tea, chat and dine. The food is delicious and the prices are reasonable. 👌👍
This is a food court I like to go to in Toa Payoh Food Court. Compared to Central Koufu Food Court and HDB Food Court, there are fewer people and the environment is quiet. It also sells Japanese and Korean set meals, Thai meals, fish soup, and chicken. Rice, beans, Malay food, Indian food, and all kinds of foreign food sold by Turkish Kebab are convenient for chatting and eating with friends. The waiters who collect the dishes are polite and the food prices are reasonable. It is an ideal place for dining.
The environment here is not bad. Usually I prefer to eat the pan noodles here. The taste is ok. It's just occasionally lighter. Overall it's not bad to eat.
The most important thing...everything here is HALAL.
Frankly...everyone likes the food...but sorry about Padang food
which doesn't suit my tongue...
How about just replacing it with Ayem Penyet..
because the spices don't match PADANG...I like culinary food.
So it's more suitable for Ayem Penyet..
It's definitely selling well...if you don't believe it...
can prove it...👍👍👍
The seating area is spacious and the food at the stall is pretty good.
I always go there
