Reviews of Fusion Spoon
Nice air-con food court we went to after a long walk in Jurong Lake Gardens. Food is affordable & good and aircon is superbly strong 😆👍🏼
They have a wide range of cuisines from pizzas, to Japanese rice bowls, to laksa, to rendang, to the usual western fare of chicken chop, fish & chips, etc.
Really love their laksa, chicken chop and beef rendang👍🏼
Order via the touch screen machines, pay via credit card & collect your food. Wouldn't mind dining there again after a good hike👍🏼
Cosy and comfortable cafe nestled in the refurbished Lake park offering wide variety of main dishes, pastries, juices and beverages. The main dishes is average, desserts are nice. However there's 1 particularly dish fried fish bee hoon, looks appetizing when served but to our disappointment the fish was extremely salty causing the whole dish to be ruined! Nice place to chill & relaxed especially weekdays where it's not so crowded. Halal certified.
Air-con restaurant with great views. A place to rest and filling stomach after walk. Testing on Nasi Lemak Rendang Chicken. You sure will like this local delight food.
As the food court is inside Jurong Lake Garden, may sometime saw special creatures nearby that may give you a Great Surprise.
Be it to hv a meal there or to spend a walk is worthy.
Went on a Saturday noon during post phase 2 circuit breaker. Safe management was proper and in place, staff was quick to greet and took our temperature accordingly.
Ambience was nice, cool and tables were spaced apart from each other comfortably. The place was fairly full but service was steady and calm.
Good
- short wait for the food.
- clear and audible order call number system. Lots of call number screens around the restaurant.
- must try beef rendang, vegetarian Yee fu noodles, and the hot traditional milk tea
Can improve
- vegetarian Yee fu noodles for $9.40 should include an egg. You can refer to the pic.
- remove the plastic straws and stirrers already.
Will recommend this place.
Location and surroundings are great! Aircond is way to cold, they should at least reduce fan speed or adapt airflow direction.
Food quality/quantity is very variable, usually “local delight” section is great but the western and especially pizza are terrible. Pizza size has shrunk over the year, I remember at the time they opened ~3yrs back the pizza cover the whole plate, now is about half…
I recently had the pleasure of dining at Fushion Spoon, a halal restaurant located in Jurong Lake Gardens. The restaurant offers Asian and Western fusion cuisine.
What makes Fushion Spoon unique is its stunning view. The restaurant overlooks the tranquil lake in Jurong Lake Gardens, offering a serene and peaceful ambiance to enjoy a diverse range of dishes such as pasta, and local favorites like nasi lemak and laksa.
I highly recommend it for anyone looking for a unique halal dining experience in Jurong Lake Gardens.
Giving it 5-star because the place is beautiful, clean, has nice view, great variety of food and is value-for-money.
If you’re specially making a trip here for the food, you might be disappointed. I would think most patrons are park-goers looking to fill their stomach. My family enjoys coming here. Sometimes, we walk to the park, enjoy the scenery and fresh air, have our meal and walk back home.
My family’s favourite is their nyonya laksa ($6.90?), mee siam, nasi lemak and Hawaiian pizza ($7.90?) for the kids. I find their portion rather generous.
The restaurant might get really crowded on weekend dinner time and during events held at Jurong Lake Gardens.
The menu is available at the counter, on the TV and outside the door. After placing an order, you’ll have to keep a look out for your number to collect your food (may involve multiple trips). The prices are pretty much fast-food restaurant prices, hence self-service is expected.
Tried the nasi lemak chicken rendang and nasi lemak beef rendang. For the food I will rate as 3, but the variety of food is incredible - you can get Western, Malay, Chinese, Japanese and pizzas here. Good to accommodate everyone. Plus the view here is good. Overall it's a 4/5.
the ice cream seems to be totally out of stock.. Oreo cake seems abit hard mcm just came out from freezer... milk tea ice was good but not that kinda of good compare to Thai milk tea.. the SOK seems a bit not friendly user..need to make it easier to understand...
Nice garden setting local cafe serving delicious laksa and nasi lemak. Clean and fast service.
Fusion Spoon is a nice place for your dining if you visit Lakeside Garden, Singapore.
The taste of the foods r really good. Though the prices are a little bit high.
Service is good.
The place is clean and quiet. Can enjoy the outside view while dining.
Nice bistro with several quick meals and drinks when in Jurong lakes and gardens.
Recommended for refreshments and to stop when on walk 👍🏻
The price of food is reasonable and the taste is good.
Food is good, a nice place for gathering and chat
The food is nice, view is nice. However the nasi lemak chicken was overfried, disappointing. The rest of the food is good 👍🏻
AVERAGE. It could be SO much more. The location and architecture: stunning. The menu variety: excellent. The service: OKAY. I like the manager who works on Sunday morning - good conversationalist but he’s very busy with not enough staff perhaps. The hygiene: OKAY. The men’s urinal is separated with a shower curtain from the woman’s toilet. This place could be incredible. I WANT it to succeed to I can come every weekend.
Nice food and generous portion 😋
The food here is really not very good, I’d rate it 2.5 out of 5, one word to describe it: Soul-less.
The saving grace is the location. Hence 3 out of 5 stars.
It's a fantastic place to chill in the afternoon. Set in the Jurong Lakes Garden, the café boasts views of the beautiful landscaping and Jurong Lake. Food wise, the coffee could have been better. The chicken Nasi Lemak was good and the pizzas made fresh. Variety could have been improved. Prices are reasonable. All in, a very relaxing place to be.
Decent food with good variety in juices. Although a tad on expensive side, they've very little customisation options.
We ordered a grilled sandwich but didnt want mushrooms so asked for a replacement topping but they could only remove mushroom but not add anything else..
Visited on a crowded Saturday night, and took some time to find an available table. You'll have to find your own table.
The interior of the place is newly furnished and brightly lit. While the surroundings has several water features like the lake and water pond.
Tried several dishes and we found that the Asian dishes were done better compared to the Western fare. Nasi Lemak, Mee Rebus, and Nasi Goreng were tasty and palletable. Was disappointed by the Chicken Burger as the patty was what you would find in a school canteen.
Also tried the spicy chicken wings which were a better version of McWings, good to try if you enjoy McWings.
Wanted to have an early dinner with my sister-in-law since we were taking a walk at Jurong Lake Garden and I heard so much from my colleagues about this place when they come here for morning jog and breakfast.
So here I am and I took their recommendation to order the Nasi Lemak Beef Rendang. The beef is tender and yummy...and with the hard boiled eggs and ikan bills/peanuts, and the price is not expensive. Only $7.50 I think.
Overall, the venue of the restaurant is easy to located within Jurong Lake Gardens. You will not miss it. It's cosy and not too crowded. And of course, you will need to abide by safe distancing and wearing masks and all that. Or you'll be gently reminded by them...ha ha.
We ate here and the food was really good. I especially like their Carbonara, the watermelon juice was also ok. I would recommend this place to anyone who goes hungry after a good work out or family stroll from Jurong Lake Gardens.
Foods alright and the view is nice but.. could be a whole lot better.
The ceiling plants are almost all dead, there was some food on the floor which they didn't clean up the day before.
It was very busy when we arrived there after 3 hours of cycling.
Nice and peaceful
Ok
been here many times. favourites are the pizza and aglio olio pasta. service is always nice and friendly!
Fish and chips tastes amazing
Cozy environment. Food slightly below average, can be improved.
Nice place
Located in the middle of a large park, you can stop by for a meal or drink while walking or cycling. The food is average. Today I ordered an ABC drink on my walk. I drank it for the first time, but the apple flavor was outstanding and it was delicious.
The food was very tasty and reasonably priced. We all enjoyed eating and drinking here. Highly recommended. However, during the busy period during the holidays, the food supply was not enough. Before 12 noon, I was told that a lot of food had been sold out and I could only eat what was available.
Rendang Beef Fat Rice
The restaurant environment is very good and clean...the food is also good and not expensive. It is a very good restaurant and is suitable for family gatherings.
