Food was great and awesome!! Claypot crab mee hoon is a must try menu. The crab was juicy and fresh. The succulent chunks of crab simmered in a silky broth with bee hoon noodles deserved a thumbs up 👍! Most importantly we enjoyed the 5 star dish without pinching a big hole in the wallet.

Went to the East for some 𝙈𝙤𝙤𝙣𝙡𝙞𝙜𝙝𝙩 𝙃𝙤𝙧 𝙁𝙪𝙣 月光河粉! Tucked away inconspicuously in a kopitiam, @golden_charcoal_sg is a relatively new Tze Char store helmed by two young chaps. So we were pleasantly surprised to find their Moonlight Hor Fun (from $5/small) has a distinct wok-hei fragrance. Remember to mix the raw egg in well for a smooth and slurpy-good hor fun. Be sure to check their sides like Coffee Ribs, Prawn Paste Har Cheong Kai and Assam Fish Head, for a complete tze char feast.

This is my 2nd time trying.came with 7 pax. tried their white pepper crab n curry fish head..it is good! Love the curry fishhead the home taste with lots in ingredients.

With hawker prices and fresh produce. It's a sure win! I especially love the har cheong gai (crispy and flavourful) and the mala crab was really delicious (not so spicy for me yet irresistibly tasty), the sambal kankong was good too. Plus the offer for 2 crabs for $50 was definitely a crowd pleaser! Parking wasn't so difficult as there was an open air carpark behind the shop.

The young owner is a nice guy and made us feel comfortable . The food is good specially the sea food rice and the pepper crab that we had . All in all a lovely place with a reasonable pricing sea food place

Great new Zi char place at wallet friendly prices and with such generous portions! Personal favourites are the black pepper crab, prawn paste chicken and beef hor fun 🤤 been here 3 times and I must say that the food and standard has always been consistent! Crabs are fresh too! Highly recommended if ur looking to grab a quick bite or simply to satisfy your crab cravings! Conveniently located near Bedok MRT too.

Moonlight horfun: 5/5 Coffee ribs: 4/5 flavour is good but on the slightly tough side Seaweed beancurb: 3/5 single dish that contains beancurb with seaweed, mushrooms and green veggies. Good variety of veggies for a single dish but could be more flavourful. 29 bucks in total. Value for money for generous portion too and quality.

Amazing food at reasonable prices! The moonlight hor fun has a great wok hei taste. Chilli crab with man tou was delicious. Jim Tam Jiak tofu was crispy yet soft. Great experience!

Came here when it was cny, so it's a CNY menu. Oat fried rice is extremely fragrant and could smell it when it was served. Pork was also extremely tender. Prawns were crunchy. Overall delightful dinner.
