Reviews of Goldenroy Sourdough Pizza
Very clean and organized restaurant considering it is mostly self service. I like how they have everything you need at the table and the video to brief you on how to order. The pizzas were tasty too and each table has a toaster oven for you to reheat if you’re sitting there a while. I will say it’s quite heavy to eat all at once but enjoyable nonetheless :)
We ordered Smoked Cheese Margherita, Mushroom Pesto, Scallops & Onion & their Garlic Knots for a family of 5.
The garlic knots is so flavourful, creamy and garlicky; regretted for ordering a box.
Love their dough base, it has a chewy with a good bite & crunchy at the corners.
Can’t wait to make a trip to experience pipping hot pizza dine in experience!
Flavourful and fresh ingredients! The sourdough base was thick and has that distinct sour taste. The toppings were interesting, my favourite was the ‘browned butter scallops with onions’. Very decent food here to satisfy the sourdough pizza cravings.
Very thoughtful personal touch on the pizza box too, with a nice check in on WhatsApp for the delivery 😊
As a bread lover, I was excited to try the hyper sourdough pizza, and honestly, I found it to be just average. The taste didn’t stand out as anything special, contrary to the hype surrounding it. It felt like people had over exaggerated its quality.
I dine in the resturant when the pizza was freshly baked and hot. I tried all the 8 flavours the blue cheese is too salty making it the least favourite flavour. My favourite is the Roy’s Favourite: mushroom pesto sourdough. The side of the crust is over baked making it so hard and dry. Given the high price, I expected more from this pizza.
If you’re curious, it might still be worth a try, but manage your expectations. Overall, the taste was quite average, and I felt that the quality was over exaggerated.
Came here on a Friday night, just slightly before 7pm. Was lucky that there wasn't any queue. There was a staff standing by the main door, and preparing to assist me. As it was my first time here, the staff advised me to press the green button to watch a short introduction of the order process and food.
There are 2 types of iPad. The first type of iPad is located outside the store. It's where u enter your phone number to get your queue no.
The second iPad is located inside, where you use to order food. For dine in customers, the staff will try to get you a seat, before you get to order.
Food wise, everything that I order were delicious. From the sourdough bombs (which is da bomb!) and also the various pizza flavours.
I had the Mushroom Pesto, Roast Beef & Garlic, Clam & Garlic and Beef Pepperoni & Rare Cheese. Highly recommend the Clam & Garlic, Mushroom Pesto and Roast Beef & Garlic flavours
The beef pepperoni & Rare Cheese is very good too, but it's more of a common flavour that pizza places offers.
As there were no service charge for the food, collection and clearing of food boxes were done by the customers. They do provide paper towels, wet wipes, aluminium foil on every dine in table, so that we could clean up after ourselves.
The cozy and chill vibes of the shop made me look forward to return, and try the other pizza flavours!
If you've never been to San Francisco or just wanted to try great American food that is halal-friendly, Goldenroy Sourdough Pizza is the place to be. Not only does the place feel so spacious, but the art decor within this place is just a masterpiece to wonder at while waiting 30 minutes for your pizza to be picked up right at the kitchen door.
Once your number is buzzed, you'll get your order by confirming your name as the staff will beep you using the WhatsApp number that you entered when taking your queue number at the front door. Take your allotted seating that is given and on the table are four things, an oven toaster, aluminum foil, kitchen towel, and adult-sized wet wipes. These thoughtful offerings when dining in here meant they showed appreciation in the pizzas they made - hot, crispy with molten cheese. Get that oozing gooey cheese in every pleasurable bite and you'll be mesmerised. Wet wipes are for cleanliness because loving food is great while sharing that food love makes life more easier for everyone.
Once you've opened your order of pizza, the square-sized pizza slices can be eaten with four people sharing. The fantastic taste of the pizzas shines through no matter what preference you choose to go. They never get their pizza equation wrong. Italy is famous for Neapolitan pizzas, but, Goldenroy's sourdough pizza stands out as an American icon in its glory. Don't forget to try out their Parmesan Garlic Sourdough Knots as they sum up the whole meal without needing any extras.
Tried mushroom pesto, potato & chicken ham, browned butter scallops & onion, garlic butter & blue cheese. They were all very flavorful, unique, and service was efficient. Decoration was memorable as well.
Saw this place for quite some time but haven't had the chance to try. Finally did this time and truly didnt disappoint! Really great pizza! Get to try 4 flavour in one box at once!
The sourdough bomb was really da bomb!! Soft and Crispy 😋
Hope to be back again soon next time!
Prolly some of the best pizza I’ve had in Singapore, just perfectly crisp and chewy. I had GR as takeout 3 years ago and I remember it being really good even as delivery, so my partner and I went down to the outlet to try it.
We reached at around 7.40pm, got our queue number via the iPad and then were informed via WhatsApp to come back at around 8.20pm for our table. Over here, you’ll be shown this funny intro AI video w a guy who resembles Handsome Squidward, then make your order on the iPad before being ushered upstairs for a table. I LOVE how much attention they pay to detail, every table has a little Balmuda oven for you to reheat your pizza if you so wish, accompanied with a generous stack of napkins and wet tissues (!!!) It did take another 30min after ordering for our pizza to come though, so 70min total from getting a queue number to actually eating. Best grab a snack beforehand if you get hangry like me.
We ordered 1 pizza for 2pax and it was definitely enough, tho we are big eaters so we got the Parmesan knots as well. The garlic knots came first and we were just absolutely BLOWN AWAY. This is legit the best garlic bread I’ve ever had even after going to Italy lol.
Pizza wise, we got the clams, roast beef, mushroom pesto, and brown butter scallop. All very very good in their own way, though the scallop could have been slightly bigger. Clams and the mushroom were the best to us (clams are so generous w the portion and the tinge of seafoody flavour really cuts through richness of cheese)- we’ll definitely be back to try the blue cheese and potato!
there is 2 levels for you to dine in, 3rd level is for bigger groups! we went there during non peak so the entire place was ours🤭 btw this is our first time here! it’s better to eat on the spot at the restaurant, more fresh and yummy! we dined in and also do take away(can’t help it)
we ordered:
potato & chicken ham (our fav!)
browned butter scallops(we like this)
smoked camembert (we like this)
mushroom pesto (their best seller, but too much herbs)
clam & garlic (we like this)
beef pepperoni (not bad)
be prepared to wait for 15-25mins(this is non peak not sure about peak)
their pizza is thin and cripsy so delicious🤤
will definitely come back again soon!
This is so freaking delicious!! I wanted to eat sourdough pizza so I googled and came across Goldenroy. I ordered for Wednesday by accident and when I realized it, I messaged them and asked if they can move to Tuesday and they made it happen, no fuss. Delivery arrived on time. But boy oh boy is this pizza tasty!! OMG I love the flavor explosion in each bite. Airfryer is the bestfriend as it really made the crust super crispy. Cant get enough of it. I’ll try dine in next time! Please never stop making this!! May good health be upon you!
The elderly staff was so helpful and friendly.
The food was also so good. The ingredients were uniform and generous. I tried 4 flavours and all were good!
1. Potato and ham
2. Pesto mushroom
3. Roasted beef
4. Clam and garlic.
Fantastic Pizza! I love that they recommended the heating instructions and the crusts were superb after I followed. The ingredients were generous and the olive oil ensured the pizza was not dry and taste great too! My first try and looking forward to my second!
Delicious pizza, amazing service and cool vibes. They even provide a toaster at each table to reheat you pizza. Will come again!!
Thank you Roy and team for the delicious sourdough pizza with unique flavours that can't be found elsewhere, they were great for our gathering last weekend! We love the brown butter scallop one the most, followed by the beef and garlic flavour. Tasted great when heated up in the oven as it came a little cold when delivered.
It will not be something I'd order on the regular due to the steep prices but regardless, the pizzas are well made and we enjoyed it!😊
This place has 3 levels in total. Second and third level for customers. No lift. Limited seats available and also drink selections, cannot make reservations. Self service (except for the part they make and bake your pizza for you) 🤣
We were around 7 pax, ordered for 5 boxes of pizza and still had leftovers.
I like how you can choose different slices of flavours instead of one big piece. Crispy and fresh! A bit pricey but still worth it, everything is self serviced.
Good food, good service and spacious surroundings. Be prepared to wait as they don’t accept reservations, but I found it well worth the wait. Came at 6plus on a Saturday and waited about half an hour. There were empty seats by 7.40 when we left, so might want to come later to avoid the queue.
Particularly liked the clam and garlic, the portions of clam was very generous.
Beef Pepperoni & Rare Cheese + Clam & Garlic + Browned Butter Scallops with Onions + Mushroom Pesto Sourdough Pizza. Sourdough has become the gold standard of bakes in recent years, appearing in doughnuts (sourbome) and now pizza. Customers can select up to four flavours on each quadrant of their square pizza. The challenge is which 2 out of 6 flavours offered here should we come back another day for. The ingredients are aplenty as an any good pizza should have. If you want to impress an American pizza lover in Singapore, Goldenroy is the answer.
Tl:dr: hands down the best pizza! Dining in is a better option as you can mix up to four flavours for one pizza. You also get to use the amazing toaster (every table gets a Balmuda toaster!!). The bestseller is mushroom pesto!
Finally got to try pizzas from here as they're finally open for dine in! Dropped by at around 7pm on weekday night and managed to get a seat at level two. Staff is really friendly and helpful during ordering! Shop is nicely decorated and every table actually comes with an awesome toaster for you to reheat your pizza. Ordering and collection of food is done on first floor. They'll send a text to your phone once pizza is ready for collection at level one. For drinks, you need to get it at level two. It's a self service system and you can choose whatever drinks you want on the table/fridge and do payment via the QR on table. Waiting time for pizza is quite long but it is worth the wait! We ordered two pizza and a box of garlic knot. Managed to try out all flavour available in their menu as for dine in, you can choose up to four flavour for one pizza (only for dine in). Every flavour is good and each have their own uniqueness! Sourdough crust is really crispy on the bottom. When you bite into the freshly served pizza, you can hear the crunch! All toppings come in generous amount. For dine in, they do not provide cutlery/plate. But they do provide paper towels and aluminium foil. There's also a sink with kirei kirei handsoap beside the dining area. If you're planning to share, the pizza is only sliced into 4s (one flavour = 1 slice). Pizza can be hand torn into half but for the more saucey ones, it's harder to do so. You can consider bringing along your own plastic knife for easy splitting.
Just a little summary for each flavor below:
Mushroom pesto: tomato based, this is their best seller! pesto taste is not strong and mushroom is really flavourful
Scallop with onions: cream based, creamiest slice out of the lot! If you enjoy cabonara, get this!
Clam and garlic: tomato based, second recommendation from the staff. Clam does not taste/smell fishy. Find this combi unique and yummy!
Beef pepperoni: tomato based, pepperoni is not overly dense, salty, and chewy. It's more of a ham like texture. Extra good after some toasting!
Potato and chicken ham: cream based. Most kid friendly choice out of the lot! Sauce taste like potato potage and the chunky chicken ham brings a good texture bite
Smoked camembert: tomato based, go to order if like both cheese and tomato
Roast beef: tomato based, beef are in thin slices but meat is not tough even after reheating
Last but not least, garlic knots. This small ball of yummy goodness comes with garlic cream cheese in the middle and a tub of orange peppery sauce that taste like a non spicy version of Tabasco with Marinara sauce. We enjoyed the dip but we think this sauce will go really really well with pasta.
If you're dining in, please use the toaster on the table to reheat your pizza. For our first few slices, we did not reheat the pizza and we find the pizza crust denser (still good!). After using the magical toaster, pizza crust is actually became fluffier! We set the temperature to 200 and timer to 3.5/4. Loved both toasted and untoasted version of the pizza.
Had a great time here and this is is officially my favourite pizza joint! Pizza here is worth every penny and calories. Will definitely return when pizza craving hits!
Great pizza with homey taste and airy crust. Toppings were generous and the ingredients were fresh, they walked the talk. I placed an order for delivery to the far west end of Singapore and delivery was on-time and fuss free - truly island wide delivery. Customer service was prompt in answering questions and was polite to follow up whether or not food was okay. Personal message was written on the box. The office folks unanimously voted for the scallops one but my personal favorite is mushroom pesto. Few things to note is that they do not have vegetarian options as chicken stock is used in all current pizza lineup (even if you order veg/shroom only) and garlic is pretty much infused in their dough (dietary restricted people take note). I hope they maintain such a high service standard as they grow in the future and I recommend this place for your next pizza journey.
Pizzas are really great! Service is amazing too. I changed my order to delivery last min and they are able to accommodate. Just wished it's a tad cheaper but really other than that no complaints on the pizzas. Love it and will return to order again.
Best sourdough pizza with amazing service!
I had the Weekday Special so that I can try almost all of the pizza toppings they have and everything was delicious! I usually add chili flakes, parmesan or chili sauce to my pizza but these pizzas are perfect just the way they are. All the ingredients on the toppings and the sourdough base go well together and tasted really good! If I were to pick the best though, I’d go with the Here Comes The Sun (Roast beef & garlic), followed by Kryptonite (Clam & garlic). The weekday special was good for 3 pax with big appetite like my hubby and I, or 4 pax with regular appetite.
Amazing service and so much passion and pride in what they do! Delivery was on time and they texted me on the reheating instructions to make sure we get to enjoy the pizzas as it should be. They also gave personalized message on the pizza box. Price is a little pricey but for the quality of the pizzas, it’s easily comparable or even better than gourmet pizzas out there so it’s worth it. Definitely recommended!
Lovin the crispy base! Would love for them to have a series of fluffy base.
They have a good number of toppings for pizza lovers!
Clam garlic, scallop butter, and roasted beef garlic are our fav!
Give their sourdough bomb a go!
Highly recommended to eat em on site fresh!
My girlfriend brought home eight slices of pizza for a family gathering, and it was our first time trying this particular brand. The pizza tasted great and had a lovely aroma. While it wasn't the best pizza I've ever had, it still earned a solid A from me.
Impressively, even my mom, who's usually not a fan of most pizza companies, found it tasty. What stood out most was my girlfriend's experience at the shop—she was met with smiles and enthusiasm from an employee who eagerly shared details about their offerings. Additionally, the passion behind their business was noticeable in the letter included with our order. I truly appreciate such dedication and passion in a business. Great job, Roy and family! Keep it up!
Heard about this pizza for awhile now, and am glad we finally got to try it! 🍕
Ordered 7 pizzas for 9 pax and we were left about 3/4 of it - it’s quite filling given that it’s a regular crust sort of pizza, though each slice is smaller (we requested for it to be cut into eighth instead of the regular 4)
My ratings for the pizzas as follows:
Potato and chicken ham - 4 ⭐️
Browned scallops and onions - 4.5 🌟
Mushroom pesto - 4.5 🌟
Clam and garlic - 3.5 ⭐️
Garlic butter and blue cheese - 5 🌟
Each of them are really great, no complaints in general 👍🏻
⏰ do note that they tend to push back or cancel deliveries though, something to bear in mind especially during peak periods
Interesting flavours! Preferred the cream based ones, especially the scallops ☺️ Ordered as delivery and reheated but dough was still a little tough, not sure why. Decent pizzas but wouldn’t say it’s the best I had.
Check out ig @mentaik.o for more food reviews!
2nd time having this and I can say it's enjoyable and delicious. Ordered too much but it still is amazing the next day. When heating it up you can smell the pizza, amazing. My favourite are the garlic clams and the scallops
Great pizza would recommend the clam and garlic as one of my favourites, was creamy and rich. Unfortunately not much space for dine-in so ended up waiting close to 1.5h for a table of 2! Unfortunate maybe cause of the peak hour but the food did not disappoint.
Have been hearing awesome reviews about this place and finally had a chance to visit.
There is an option to choose 4 different flavours for one pizza set.
For 2 pax, we opted for the following (total $30 before gst):
- Billie Jean Smoked Camembert Sourdough Margherita
- Roy’s Favorite: Mushroom Pesto Sourdough
- Kryptonite: Clam & Garlic Sourdough
- Here Comes The Sun: Roast Beef & Garlic Sourdough
Top favs are the Clam&Garlic and the Mushroom Pesto. Flavours are unlike what we have tried so far. For the clam&garlic, the seafood taste immediately hits you upon the first bite. What i enjoyed is that it screams seafood and clams are not just treated as a garnish. For the mushroom pesto, ohh the combination of mushroom and pesto is amazing.
Also, something that may not have been mentioned often is the crust - just the right thickness so that we can still can enjoy it but not feel too jelak.
Each table was also equipped with wet tissues and paper kitchen towels. There is also a balmuda toaster at every table. Towards the end of the meal the pizzas were turning a tad bit cold (but still really delicious). I can imagine the toaster being very useful for large groups.
Also, shout-out to the very enthusiastic uncle regulating the in-coming crowd on the first level.
Will definitely be coming back!
The staff was very friendly at the counter. Ordered 4 different slices plus a sourdough cheesy muffin thingy.. the whole dine in set up is really awesome since I love eating by myself. It’s like an introverts dream. This pizza makes PizzaHut and Domino’s look dumb. As a Muslim I can’t compare this to other so called better pizzas that others would think is great. The crust is brilliant. The mixture of softness and crunch is topped by a whole lot of toppings that seem almost illegal to put so much is draped across a magnificent tomato base. I know eating 4 slices by myself is insane but the pairing of drink with the carbonated apple cider can drink they place at the side really cuts through the richness of the slices. Overall this is the best pizza I’ve ever had. I will edit this review again after I’ve tried their entire menu in the future. But for now Great Job Guys
Update: Pizza Ranking Based On My Preference. I had it dine in so my rating is consistent. This is my 6th Update. I’ve tried all flavours Atleast twice.
S-Tier :
Brown Butter Scallops & Onions
Beef Pepperoni and Rare Cheese
Mushroom Pesto
Parmesan Garlic Knots
A-Tier :
Potato & Chicken Ham
Smoked Camembert Margarita
Blue Cheese & Garlic Butter
B-Tier :
Clam and Garlic
Roast Beef & Garlic
I ate at the premise itself and enjoyed it.
The pizza dough had a bread-cake type texture, which I really liked. It did not taste "gluteny" like many pizza doughs. The topping was generous. If I had to nit pick, I felt the pizza was slightly greasier than I would have liked. But I guess one does not eat pizza if you wanted to be healthy.
Delivered hot. Reheated using an oven as recommended. Dough crispy and cheese melty. First time having this type of pizza. Thinner dough than deepdish. Felt like eating home made pizzas with fresh ingredients. Rich taste, generous toppings on all pizzas. My favorite was Mushroom pesto, followed by Pepperoni and rare cheese.
A bit oily with olive oil and the cheese is salty. Pretty normal for those cheese. Overall pretty good. The crust not as thick as I expected pretty thin for sour dough. I expected thicker. The one pizza is okay for a guy. Bigger guys maybe 1.5 to 2 possibly. Delivery was on time. Not something you can eat daily if you have high blood pressure. Definitely need to heat it up. It would be good with rocket or salad because the pizza alone is very salty. The salad would help balance the flavors and make it more healthy. They use pretty good olive oil but it's pretty soaked with it. Presentation pretty good.
It's all about self service here 😂 first timers need to get to know how it works first then enjoy the pizzas
Great that they allow 4 type of flavors on each pizza, we get to try more!
We like the Mushrooms pesto best, the potato and chix ham was the least flavorful. We also had the (3) smoked camembert (4) beef pepperoni , rare cheese, these are pretty good too.
The downside is that, the bottom of the pizza gets soggy rather quickly, when we reached our last flavor, it's no longer crispy however the thoughtful chef has prepared a toaster on each of the table to reheat whenever we want to.
Great pizza place , but long wait time. Will be back again 👍
Ordered delivery at the appointed time in the afternoon, delivery was on time, and pizzas well packed. It comes with instructions to reheat the pizza for optimum eating. Did not manage to snap any pictures as we were just too hungry, the butter scallops are so delicious. Will definitely order again for sour dough crust pizzas & for halal option 😊
Mm it pizza with a twist, the sourdough(bread) is unlike normal pizza base , giving it a crispy crust, the flavouring is good too, only feedback is maybe can put a little sauce by the side , as it takeaway , so by the time reach home or office might dried up , but overall it a good pizza!
Had a pretty good experience here. Colleagues and I went after the lunch crowd madness. I believe it’s a 3-story food establishment 1st floor is where you order and they make your pizzas at the back! The second and third floor were dining areas with cute little toaster oven on every table for you to warm up your pizzas if they turn cold from all the banters how creative is that!! Everything is digitalised so no cash ya!! We had 2 pizzas 1 box of 4 different flavours and the other box was Half mushrooms and half pepperoni. As a big fan of pepperoni pizza I was expecting to be more impressed by it than the other flavours but honestly i had better.. However I was surprised by how the other toppings saved it!! The mushroom w pesto and the garlic clams by far was the most outstanding than the rest!! The scallops was ok but it was too rich and the amount of onions overpowered the other flavours. There was also the camembert cheese was so-so for me but well received amongst colleagues. Would definitely go back or tabao next time ❤️👍
Delicious sourdough crust pizza, found the toppings generous and flavourful (although slightly on the salty side). I ordered three flavours (smoked camembert margherita, mushroom pesto, clam & garlic) and thoroughly enjoyed every one of them. kept some leftover pizza overnight and reheated them in the toaster at 200degc for 10 min and they taste as good as it did on the day i got it!
my mum loved the garlic knots as well.
the owner was very kind to leave a personalised greeting on the pizza box as well. great for ordering for a family or when hosting a small lunch / dinner gathering. thanks for the wonderful meal!
Love the food. Really tasty and unique. Nice venue and interesting concept.
Have to admit that the price of the pizza is on the high side. Will return but likely not as frequent due to the price.
Except for the food preparation and the allocation of seat, before you enter the restaurant until you step out, the process is all self service.
It was our first visit to the restaurant. There was no counter. The staff prompted us to take a queue no from the queue machine which was located outside the restaurant. We had to take a photo of the queue no from the LCD screen.
The staff asked how many diners we have and allocated a table for us, and told us to proceed to order the pizza from the ordering kiosk. When he saw our confused look, we were made to watch a training video on how to order the food and drinks
You can mix and match up to 4 flavours in one pizza. After the pizza was ordered, a WhatsApp message received and we took the stairs to get to our designated table.
The ground floor is the kitchen and kiosk, 2nd and 3rd storey are the seating areas. You can buy your can / bottle drinks at 2nd floor, payment by Paynow or Paylah. The wash area is also at 2nd floor. Our table was at the 3rd floor. Despite the aircon, it was a bit warm. Fortunately we brought along a handheld USB fan to cool us down.
Paper towels and wet wipes were provided at the table. Diners were expected to clean up the table before they leave.
After about 30 mins of waiting a WhatsApp message was received and we took the stairs to the first floor to collect the food. The pizza was served in pizza box.
The pizza was tasty, but we preferred the mushroom pesto and smoked camembert. We were not big eaters, the pizza was shared by three of us. Nevertheless, we were still a little hungry when we stepped out of the restaurant. Perhaps the "cardio exercise" from climbing the stairs burns out most of our calories...
Food is not as good as manu claimed. The pizza oven on the table adds to an overall unique experience. Price is not cheap. There was a long wait time for the table, then after you got a table you ordered for pizza which added to the wait time. They should have allowed us to order in advance so we don't have to wait another 30mins for the pizzas.
have heard a lot about this place and they rly live up to it! they do islandwide delivery as well as dine in options. choice of 4 flavours in one box of pizza. some sourdough cheese bombs as sides (i dont think these were great). but with ample dine in seating, very clean and organised, with bathrooms and sinks available, safe to say was a very enjoyable experience and i'd love to come back for more 😋
The pizza here is out of this world. Setting new bar for sourdough pizza in Sin. Excellent follow up service by owner to check on customers' satisfaction. The box also comes with personal message from the company. Awesome.
We ordered two pizzas (Billie Jean Smoked Camembert Sourdough Margherita and Here Comes The Sun: Roast Beef & Garlic Sourdough), plus a side (We’re Just Friends: Parmesan Garlic Sourdough Knots w/ Orange Pepper Sauce) for a dinner for 3. The pizzas were very hearty and we were all very full after polishing off most of the two pizzas. Don't be fooled by the fact they come in just four slices - each slice is filling.
Billie Jean was undoubtedly the crowd favourite - even the self-professed cheese detractor enjoyed it! The garlic in Here Comes The Sun was less pronounced than I expected, but I still think it is overall a good pick for beef lovers.
(And thanks to Roy for the text before and after the delivery, to check in on the pizzas' status + reheat instructions!)
Superb pizza! Easily one of my favourite new place to recommend.
This place doesn't scrimp on ingredients and the quality shows. While on the slightly pricy side ($31.32), you get value for every dollar. The smell of pizza teases even before you open the box and every bite is delightful.
Sourdough base was slightly soft yet retaining enough integrity so the goodness on top doesn't simply flop off. Pizza base was flavorful and very generous. Ingredients was fresh, with special mention to the cheese on top. Delish!
Note that there are no seats.
Just collected my order from Goldenroy today and their mushroom pizza and garlic knots really got me “wah at first bite”. The best pizza and garlic knots I ever ate where I can see Roy’s sincerity in preparing the food from how he ensure the pizza and garlic knots are prepared just before u collect so that it’s fresh and piping hot. He took care in piping the garlic cream and sprinkling the shaved Parmesan for the knots. I could tell his passion in serving the food at best quality for his customers.
Thanks Roy for serving great food and it’s really the best pizza I ever tried! Will definitely order from u again :)
was pretty excited to try this, but sadly, this was a miss for us.
was especially looking forward to the garlic butter & blue cheese sourdough but it also fell short of expectations :( though we reheated the pizza and followed the instructions, the dough still ended up tasting pretty soggy..
of all the items, we enjoyed the garlic knots the most (not pictured)
Pizzas were wonderful and honestly it was probably even too much for the 4 of us! But at least we finished it at supper, it was too good to let it go to waste. Service was impeccable too - Roy delivered the pizzas himself (despite the heavy downpour that day), and there were so much emphasis on the heating instructions that we couldn’t ignore it. It was truly a great experience!
My favorite sourdough pizza in Singapore. They only have 4 types but all are excellent choices. The garlic knot is a delight with creamy center and goes well with bellpepper sauce.
The best thing is the next day, if you have leftovers, reheating in oven / air fryer gives it a wonderful golden crust.
Amazing! This is the best sourdough pizza I’ve ever had! The crust is amazingly soft/bouncy yet crispy on the bottom and edges (cooked in 100% olive oil so no guilt!), and the ingredients are so fresh. I followed the directions to throw it in the air fryer for just a couple minutes after it was delivered. Highly recommend doing that. It made it more wonderful! And the garlic knots! Oh my goodness! You peel it open, and inside is this amazing garlic cream! Forgot to take picture because we devoured it!! My fav was the clam garlic! Will buy again!
Fragrant pizza, chock full of ingredients with a delectable crust. Went for the Roy’s favourite and was pleasantly surprised how the cheese and mushroom complimented each other. While the pizza looked small, it was substantial for 2 pax as advertised. Staff were friendly and promptly reminded us when the food was ready for pickup.
Wow. One of the best pizza’s I’ve had so far. 32 sgd, can mix 4 flavors. Highly recommend the mushroom one. Pepperoni and Clams also not bad. Downside is long queue (if come during rush hour) and takes 45min after ordering. If you have the time, it’s worth the wait.
Really love the pizzas here. They take so much pride to make it. And they even take the effort to message me with reheating instructions just so we get to enjoy the pizza as it should be. I got attracted to Goldenroy cos of the perfect score on Google reviews and after trying it, I can see why... totally deserving of the 5 stars! This will be our go to pizza from now on.
The pizza from Goldenroy Sourdough is amazing! Pizza is one of my favorite foods and I am always on the lookout for great pizza. I found this place from a Facebook Ad and decided to give it a try. I was extremely happy with the presentation, service and quality of the pizza. When it arrived it was hot which was a nice surprise so I had two slices right away. Then I decided to pop it in the over for a few minutes per their recommendation and it was even more delicious. Please give Goldenroy a try because they will definitely amaze you.
Ordering online was first of all hassle free. After realising I selected the wrong timeslot for delivery, I dropped them a whatsapp message to request a change and they kindly and swiftly accommodated.
Pizzas and knots were delivered on time, packaged and tied together nicely topped with a lovely handwritten note. I didnt get to dig in right when it arrived so I followed the reheating instructions and it was perfection. Trust the makers and don't be lazy because heat really does their pizzas justice. The crunchiness of the crust is wonderful. I personally loved the scallop with onions and pesto mushroom flavour.
They checked in to ask how everything was and I thought that was nice. Goldenroy was a refreshing change in our usual choices of pizza and I recommend!
Pizzas were delivered on time. We were given an instruction note for reheat and it was on point. We could really see the passion put into the making of the pizza.
I loved the garlic clam pizza it was so fragrant and the seasoning was very balanced. The crust was crispy and added to the flavorfulness too.
If the pizza could be a bit less oily I will definitely give it a 5 - the first piece was really tasty but I felt full just at the first few bites of the second piece. But so far this is my favorite pizza in town.
Ordered the Camembert, Mushroom and Roast Beef pizzas. Fantastic taste and attention to detail! Comes with helpful reheating instructions and a lovely personalized thank you message ◡̈ Highly recommend and good job, Roy!
The only pizza I will crave and devour . Sourdough makes all the difference . It is oily, it is crispy, it gives your arteries a good workout. The garlic rolls are to die for (not your avg frozen rolls btw!) so is blue cheese garlic pizza & all other flavours. They are generous with ingredients and prompt in delivery consistently. Thank you team for the awesomeness in a package
Ordered Goldenroy for a birthday party. Their pizzas are really out of the norm. Besides the delicious sourdough bread, the infusion of the olive oil, cheese and ingredients works very well! And it’s super crispy! A must try, especially the pesto mushroom flavour!
Their clam, blue cheese, and potato pizzas are really tasty.
Couldn't help polishing off all the food before writing this review so I can only share a photo of the restaurant.
Ordered their weekday delivery set. Pizza was very generously topped with the ingredients, no spare crust. The base was really crispy as advertised. Taste was also great, with flavours balanced well. Pizza came a little early at 6pm for my 630-7 timeslot but reheating it according to instructions got the pizza back to prime condition. Overall great pizza!
The best sourdough pizza we’ve had! A box of 4 slices serves the 2 of us perfectly. It was such a vibe dining in! Highly recommend to have the pizza right out the oven! The staff were friendly and welcoming, bonus was their beautiful explanation about their pizzas!
Good to be able to try different flavours in one pizza. Definitely enough for 2 persons. One of the scallops had sand though.
We enjoyed all four flavours and one box was just nice for two! We had the mini bites taken away as we were pretty full. The garlic was strong in the pizza. The seafood flavours were our favourite.
Pizza was delicious and still hot upon delivery to the far west. Roy took the extra mile to check in with us after delivering the pizza, great service and tasty pizza!
First time order for our company lunch gathering.
Everybody loves the pizzas.
Thank you very much for delivering the food on time with high quality!
Highly recommended!
Goldenroy sourdough pizzas are a true flavour bomb. Once you have tried their pizzas, you won’t be looking anywhere else. Every slice is generously packed with ingredients and is super addictive. Our favourite is the latest Spongebob’s Revenge: Browned Butter Scallops with Onions.
Updated to 5 stars: Congrats on the dine in option now!
Best pizza in Singapore. Hands down. But I’m giving you 4 stars for now. Once you get a sit down restaurant up and running and put a few other pizza joints out of business, then I’ll give you 6 stars. Your pizzas are ideally eaten off a plate and not reheated from the box. But I’m still gonna come back to your boxes in the meantime.
I read it recommended by Xiaohongshu, and the rating on Google was also very high, so I enthusiastically placed an order...
I ordered their four-piece pizza set. The pizza looked very good...but the bottom was not the traditional soft pizza crust, but bread. It tasted more like a lot of nondescript toppings on the bread than pizza. The cheese added on top is not traditional mozzarella cheese but cream cheese, which is not stringy and squishy, making it taste less like pizza! ! It’s just eating bread(-.-)
I don’t really like the tomato sauce above. The taste is very sweet and the tomato flavor is not strong. Especially in the mushroom pesto, the combination of black truffle mushrooms and sweet tomato sauce is really strange. The most anticipated potato chicken ham The potatoes were half-cooked...the strange texture combined with the taste of fat meat. The remaining two flavors were useless and did not make people feel happy and delicious when eating them. It felt like all the pizzas were innovative and incomplete. Failure product (I prefer to call it bread than pizza...
I originally wanted to give it two stars, but it wasn't so bad that I felt like vomiting. Maybe my expectations were too high...
The pizza is super delicious, the best pizza I have eaten in Singapore so far. Because you have to go downstairs to pick up the meal yourself, there is no service charge. The boss is enthusiastic.
I came here because I wanted pizza and the reviews were good.
You can choose from 8 flavors. I chose 4 types and they were all delicious, but my favorite was the salami.
It's like a set of 4 pieces, just the right amount for 2 people.
It's nice to have a toaster at the seat so you can reheat the food.
The staff are also very kind and I have high expectations.
It looks like a new store and the inside is very clean.
The toilet was also clean!
Highly recommend these pizzas! It’s not the usual you get around Singapore, but I truly love the bite of the pizzas (even without the “traditional crust”). Pizzas were fragrant even tho we had them delivered and really exceptional after reheating. I like that they offer unique toppings like butter scallops. Roy is very passionate so great to support such a business too!
These two super yummy love it a must order: Roast beef and Mushroom pesto. Will order again to try their clam one:)
Food was just alright, the Sourdough Bombs were really good but quite pricey! The seating is a little convoluted but no big deal. Nice and helpful waiters.
Definitely one of the best pizza in SG. Been loving this for more than a year, but dining in is another level, the crispiness and molten cheese 🔥🔥
Suggestion : 1pizza for 2 pax is definitely more than enough
