It’s a must try restaurant in Singapore. The food and the speed of service are amazing!! Price is extremely reasonable and going lower side of the scale in Singapore, it is suitable to go daily for lunch.

Singapore stopover for 6 days. This is the best food I've had here. Service is great, food is amazing and fresh, huge range too. If I knew earlier I would have come here more often.

Great service! The servers not only brought us our orders quickly but also regularly offered to help us change the grill sheets. The price of the buffet does not include soup for the hotpot, so we had to pay extra for that. Drinks are not included either. The meat and seafood were fresh, and overall, we enjoyed our meals there. We got to enjoy hotpot and BBQ food at the same time. However, the music in the restaurant was too loud, and even though we were seated side by side, we couldn’t catch what each other was saying. We also noticed that the servers placed raw and cooked dishes together on the serving trays and touched the plates with their bare hands when serving. We were a little concerned about cross-contamination. I hope the restaurant can take note of that and serve raw and cooked dishes separately. Again, service is top-notch, and I will come back again.

Good food at a decent price.. it does get crowded during dinner time.. so it would be best to make a reservation. But if you do want to have a good place to chat, it may not be the best as it gets a little rowdy… but it’s a good place for gathering and meet up…

Ordered the $27.99++ buffet, added $3 for broth per pax. Good variety of choices on the menu for the buffet. Staff provided apron for us. Food was served promptly without much delay after ordering. Personal hotpot and bbq provided. Seafood options included in the $27.99++ buffet, XLB too. Very worth in my opinion. Pork and beef meat was cooked easily and very tasty in the hotpot. Had a DIY oyster or shrimp omelette that we could cook on the BBQ as well, very cool! Place was abit cramped and hot, couldn’t really feel the aircon. Staff were friendly and approachable. Spouse burnt her finger during bbq and once we told the staff, they quickly brought a bag of ice and antiseptic cream to apply on the burn. 10/10 service.

Environment is quite okay. Service staff are very nice and helpful. They are also very responsive too. Type of food has quite a bit of range, but for vegetables, the selection is not as much. Price I would consider it a little more on the expensive side, around $36++ and above.

Consistently one of the best hot pots I’ve had. Been here 5 times now and the place never lets down. Quality is very if you go for supreme, else signature is still a feast. Extremely convenient location for personal hotpot AND bbq at the same time. C-C-C-COMBO! Good soup quality and variety. We had two half-pots, so 4 soup bases to try. Herbal chicken, tomato, mala, and pork bone broth. Good! food variety is huge, depending on which menu you go for (don't remember the names) but the most value in my opinion would be the middle menu (in terms of price). Good seafood options and its free-flow! The quality is not superb, but for this price point it is really value. Bring friends and share the drinks! Drinks like water chestnut, barley or ice lemon tea come in serving portions, i nearly died when finishing one by myself cause hx dont want to share with me even though the previous time we came she was like "oh this water chestnut is ok we can share", then proceeds to try the drink and say the exact same thing... Smh hx..

Hot pot in Asia just hits different, so I definitely wanted to have it while visiting Singapore. We easily made ressos online for a Thursday at 8 pm. The restaurant was still pretty full at that time. We did the signature buffet for $27.99. All prices include both hot pot and BBQ, which is nice because my husband hates hot pot. So I get to have my hot pot and he gets to have his BBQ. Each person gets their own personal hot pot and a personal grill. The set up is quite brilliant. Since table space is limited, there is a metal awning thing where they put the plates of food on. I also like that they give small portions of each, so you get to try more things. It's not like the U.S. where they give you massive portions of one thing and you're stuck just eating that. The menu has pretty much most of the hot pot items you'd want, including a nice selection of seafood. Ordering is east. You just order using your phone and the food comes out pretty quickly. Sauce selection is not as wide as the hot pot places back home but they do have all your basics, so it works. After the meal, you get to pick a free ice cream to go. Overall, it was such a fun experience! I wish there were hot pot/BBQ places like that here.

I had the weekday Signature Buffet with double broth, total $38.01 (100mins) as per receipt. Price inclusive of free flow DIY condiments spread. I didn't order any extra drinks. Note: the air-con was in full blast. Do bring a jacket if needed. And your food will get cold very fast! I went around 4.30pm on a Thursday, it was quite empty. Around 6pm, started to have dinner crowds, and I noticed there was a queue outside when I exited. If you are very confident of your appetite, do order more food in one-go as the staff took quite a while to serve the food. Once your time is up, you won't be able to place any orders. Order is done via QR code using your mobile phone. It will shows the items available for buffet, and time limit etc. I like how they served each item in a small portion. I could order one item each to taste instead of worrying about food wastage. Overall, I would recommend this place. The soup and buffet selection are quite decent for the price, and it is best if you happen to be a big eater. The red bean soup is not bad too. All the meats are okay in terms of taste and quality. Seafood & vegetables are considered quite fresh. Mutton roll for me a bit too bland; I like it with a stronger mutton taste. I will recommend the marinated pork belly if you like chinese spices such as cumin, fennel etc. It tasted just like those chinese skewers (串烧). The marinated pork collar is on the sweet side. The spicy beef is okay. The black pepper lamb chop is meh, thin & bland. Black pepper beef is still okay. Oyster is quite okay, medium-sized, plump, and juicy, either bbq or hotpot also can.

I came here for dinner on Monday 12th June 2023. even though I can’t speak Chinese but all staff try to communicate with me and they has a service mind, kindly, friendly. I feel good and so appreciated that. Importantly, the food here is of good quality and delicious. If I come to Singapore again, I will definitely come back at this restaurant. Location of this restaurant is MRT China Town Exit A. When you come out of exit A and turn right, You will find the “Good Combo Hotpot & BBQ Buffet”.

I saw this place via instagram's damnworthit page and since I was meeting a friend and it seemed new we thought we would give it a try. In terms of location its literally located right beside Exit A of the Chinatown MRT super convenient! Although they did put in the video that it was 19.99+, this is for lunch. You can see from the pictures for dinner it is a different price. They have 2 buffet types to choose from Signature and Supreme. Basically the difference is mainly in the quality of the meat (you get snow beef, iberico pork, crayfish etc you can see in the pics) and also the timing you will get 20 more minutes. Even before we sat down we noticed that the set up was very interesting each person has their own steamboat and bbq area so each person gets to pick whatever soup base (its an extra cost on top of the set btw) you like and because its individual, people who are vegetarian or with certain food preferences or allergies can eat here without worrying about limiting their friends choices. The exhaust is also not overhead but its right behind the area where the soup and bbq is at (see pic). You can also see there are 2 knobs at the right side of each table (see pics) this controls the heat for the soup and the bbq separately WHAT?! SO COOL RIGHT hahas! The paper for the bbq tray can be changed as and when you feel its dirty. They provide you a whole bunch of those papers at your table to change when you feel like it. And also there is a little nook right beloe the table that you can put your handphone or your mask at. My friends and I went for the Signature since its our first time and oh my the variety was legit not bad. In terms of the hotpot meat there was only a few choices. But for the bbq marinated meats there were so many choices. Also when it came to the veggies and seafood etc really spoilt for choice man. They even have cooked food and legit not bad! We ordered the fried mantou (comes with condensed milk like in China) some cute paos and also xiao long baos and cheese sticks. They also have fruits and even red bean soup to finish off your meal. Staff are extremely friendly and thoughtful here!! 👍🏻😁 Really enjoyed their service! Overall I think it's really worth it! We have chosen the signature menu. The selection is good enough. With free ice cream made in Thailand, tasty. Supposed given 100mins for the meal but after 2hours, when we checked with waitress if we hv to leave cos no time reminder. The waitress told us there are seats available and no customer waiting, we can stay longer till someone is waiting for the seat. We actually spent 2hours 15mins for the meal. We are happy with services and flexible arrangements.

Buffet with various tiers that you can select depending on what items you want. Even the basic tier is good enough and you even get free flow xlb. Not the best xlb but better than your run off the mill place. U get both a personal hotpot and grill. Had the fishmaw soup. The grill was surprisingly better than the hotpot. Meat and seafood was yummy when grilled. The soup was not amazing but decent enough. Free refills and they top up the actual soup instead of just some chicken broth. Items were all fresh and delicious and service was pretty good. One thing is their portion size is inconsistent 😅 we recieved vastly different portion sizes of the same item. Value for money if you eat a lot of meat and seafood.

The taste and quality of the food is below average. The meat cuts tend to be more fat than meat hence most of the food ended up too greasy. Tried the pork rib and tomato soups, tastes very average, similar to shilifang's. Price for their signature set is $27.99, not inclusive of soup which costs $3-4 pre gst and service charge. Drinks are not included as well so overall the buffet was actually not cost effective or value for money. Their cheapest buffet at $19.99 ends on weekdays at 3pm so if you really want to try, best to come at that timing. PSA: do note to order accordingly as they will charge for food wastage, roughly $5 per 100g. Also dining limit of 100mins.

First time trying this hotpot and bbq and I enjoy it. Location is very conveniently located next to the MRT, and clear signage that you cannot miss the place. Price is reasonable going by it is buffet and the options are good. Taste of the marinated meats are tasty and I like that gloves are provided and also there is the oil paper that we can place on the BBQ plate and it can be easily changed by ourselves. Place is also clean and comfortable. Will definitely visit again and highly recommended 👍🏼

celebrated a friend’s birthday here and had a really good time. the variety was amazing with items such as crab, oysters and scallops being available for order 🌟 we especially liked the black pepper beef and lamb too, which were reaaaally soft and flavourful; with the wide variety of sauces and spices we even managed to cook new menu items (garlic cumin lamb chops anyone?) which were delicious. on top of that we really appreciated the sincere and attentive service by the staff there. they astutely observed whenever the water in our cups needed refills (and the same for the soup in our hotpot), and went the extra mile helping us in celebrating our friend’s birthday. apart from volunteering to sing her a birthday song, they also helped store and defrost the birthday cake, set up the candles, gave us a complimentary platter of fruit with oranges cut in the shape of bunnies and patiently waited while we were celebrating before cleaning up though it was waaay past closing time. all this was done in a manner that was genuinely enthusiastic and heartfelt and they never once made us feel like burdens. a good indicator of how much we loved our time here is shown by how we were already planning to make our return trips here before the meal was even over. would definitely recommend it to anyone interested in its creative bbq + hotpot concept!

Love the service and food here! Came here after a bad service at paradise hotpot.. Goodcombo certainly saved hotpot day! The staff are professional and friendly. my friend and i went there on a public holiday (hari raya haji) for dinner so there was a waiting time and we had to wait with 15 tables ahead of us which was reasonable. the food selection was good, i enjoyed the marinated bbq pork belly! i also ordered the tomato soup for hotpot and it was decent, not watered down at all. servings were quite generous per portions especially the watermelon. the staff were mostly friendly, especially the 2 staff on the 2nd level - a young girl and older lady. my friend and i ordered an extra ice lemon tea without knowing it comes in a huge jug but thankfully the staff (i think XinYi?) informed us about it before serving it to us and helped us void the extra jug. We also didn’t know that we were wearing the disposable apron incorrectly and Xin Yi promptly helped us with it and was very kind and polite throughout her service. thank you ~

Great time at Good Combo! Attentive service, fresh and juicy meats (the grills were super juicy). Definitely not cheap, but it is a good treat - with single-person pots and grills, families who feud over what to put in the pot, what to grill, etc would be ideal. It's also just beside the escalator, so it's super convenient too. Will be back :)

The concept is so perfect w individual hotgrills and hotpots and the layout of everything is ideal in that theres enough space to cook and eat and space for the uncooked food without putting u too far away from ur friends. The only issue I had was that the pork had a gamey taste :// my friend said the beef tasted vvv good but i cant eat beef so i can only take her word for it. They have a huge variety of dishes including all the hotpot essentials. It’s not dirt cheap but it’s a very affordable price and very value for money. Overall 10/10 — 100% would go again 100% would recommend

How can you not love a free flow of Xiao Long Bao! Sadly though - no free water or drinks. And the ice cream was pretty bad. I went for a weekend dinner so that set me back around 35$ which is pretty pricey.

Shabu tastes very good. The golden yellow soup made from chicken and fish maw is something you must try and you won't be disappointed. All the meat was good and the crab included in the set had very large claws. The service was very good and impressive, especially the auntie who helped prepare the dipping sauce and provided many conveniences in the restaurant. The staff are well mannered and polite. The shop looks clean, the air conditioning is cool, and there are desserts available. It's really worth the price. It's easy to get to because it's in the heart of Chinatown. Just take the subway and find it.

I like this hot pot and barbecue restaurant very much. I come here almost every month. The dishes and desserts are great and the prices are affordable. It is very worth it. The waiters are also very warm and considerate! The most important thing is that each person has one pot and one teppanyaki, which is really convenient for dining! Good environment and good service!
