Reviews of Greendot Paya Lebar Square
Clean eatery with friendly staff. Great food and we really like the festive side dish! 🌲
Herbal noodles are well prepared with fresh vegetables and ingredients.
Sweet Potato Trio Crunch Roll (4pcs), Ooh they are pleasantly flavourful. 😋
Conveniently located just beside Paya Lebar MRT station. Green Dot serves delicious, healthy, wholesome vegetarian food.
They have bento sets that are extremely popular for takeaways. But do note that additional side orders are on the pricier side, something which I don’t quite understand.
Personally, my favorite order is Angelica Herbal Noodles (see picture). I always enjoy noodles with a good soup, and what’s more, it has a good mix of veg, carrots. This one is a must try if you ask me. Reasonably price for the mix and portion you get.
There is a good mix of other noodles and rice dishes to order from. There are also burgers.
Eating their food just makes you feel you had an extremely healthy meal :)
Lion mane mushroom is good. Their rice is good too. Worth trying their pumpkin shio pan ($4.80 for 5 small ones).
I ordered the Laksa Yong Tau Foo with rice. It's delicious 🥰 love their laksa broth! The bento meals and dry noodles are good as well.
Getting worse. Almost 3/4 bowl is filled with white cabbage, and only three small stalk of broccoli. White cabbage is a cooling stuff n unhealthy for vegetarians. I chose cordycep flower soup base but don't see any cordycep flower or taste of it at all. Not worth paying this for $9.90. Shd give spinach instead of white cabbages.
Affordable vegetarian cai fan bentos and assorted dishes. The tofu puffs and fake sweet and sour pork are my picks - good bouncy texture while not being overly sweet or salty. Everyone should have a meal here once in a while for their own good.
Great options for vegans. The new burgers are really good, and I love the meaty texture of their food in general. The curries are great, and the healthy options are awesome. Just wish that they had vegan options for all dishes on their menu. Some of the dishes have egg and dairy in them. Quick service, reasonably priced, and tasty food. Can't ask for more. An expanded menu makes things even better now. The soy nuggets are so good! QQ tofu had always been a favorite
Long time customer and late to the party. What I want to say is: 1) this is my favourite outlet 2) thank you for starting to sell your achar as a standalone (like I said, I'm late to the party, but I appreciate the option which was unavailable long long time ago. Btw, nice papadum! Crispy!! )
Delicious food that i keep going back to even though I’m not vegetarian.
Very spacious and nicely designed Green Dot outlet at Paya Lebar Square. The staff are very nice and helpful. They have many snacks to choose such as dumplings, xiumai etc and always have standees displaying new dishes/ seasonal special dishes when available.
Hi greendot, do look into how to maintain having fresh tomato slice in the vegan chicken rice. I had one which taste rotten.
Cozy dining area. Food taste good. Sells vegan cakes too.
Tasty vegan options (including vegan chicken rice).
I actually love the food at Green Dot and am a regular. I appreciate their bento style with pretty rich options despite a higher price point. The reason this is a 3-star review is for a number of reasons aside from food:
1. Speed of service - there’s a queue and people are not told at the start of the queue about modes of payment, which means some are unprepared when they reach the front. Additionally, when an order comes in, often the cashier himself has to go make the order instead of moving the queue along while other staff serve the customer’s order.
2. Charging for items that have been and should be “free” - let’s face it, their bento set isn’t the cheapest. ON TOP of that, they CHARGED $0.20 for getting sambal chilli, which previously used to be left out (and at most Chinese vegetarian places still is) to self-serve. It’s obviously not about the money, which is minimal, but the feeling of being squeezed unnecessarily.
3. Their “Go Green” motto is a gimmick - they proudly display a poster of “Love our earth & every kind” and then they give out the sambal chilli in a plastic disposable container which is the opposite of green. You need to walk the talk in EVERY way because every little thing counts, especially when you’re supposedly flying the flag for it.
Love the food and super friendly staff here at the Paya Lebar Square Greendot. The bento set is my all time favourite with mushroom rendang, soya nuggets and qq toufu being my favourite mains. The mala hotpot and spicy Taiwanese noodles are also really delicious!
A bit pricey, but the quality of food is good.

... like what my younger son says;
(over-priced 饭菜... LOL)
... but because of that,
I have more privacy.
Just a few dollars more and you get a place that's less crowded, near a clean restroom, literally walk to carpark in 1 min (no need wait for lift as it's same level as carpark)
Best for people like me.
Parking is not expensive too...
So that makes up for that few extra $ for food.
LOL...
I love it!! Student deal is on weekdays just 5.9 for amazing healthy delicious bento meal? No way! Ingredients looks fresh and staffs are supportive. I will drop by often.
Vegetarian food..delicious laksa..mala 香锅。 burgers Bento rice ...healthy hot pot ..noodle too
Larger outlet than bedok mall, but the restaurant production operations flow is not as smooth as bedok mall, the vegetadishes tastes like the cooking time was very rushed and lacking in "wok-hei", brown rice wasn't really cooked through.
I came on lunar calendar 1st March on my vegetarian day, guess that's why the chaotic situation.
Generally, it's a comfort food for me.
Good vegetarian food..reasonable price.. must try the rendang super yummy..
I do enjoy eating at Greendot. It's far from the usual vegetarian fried bee Hoon at the local food centre. This place serves interesting interpretation of 'meat' dishes like rendang, cereal prawns, sweet and sour pork etc. Instead of using flour, Greendot's main ingredients for the mock meat dishes are konnyaku, soya beans, tofu etc. Therefore, it's a much healthier choice. For the Bento sets, I always go for the sesame fragrant rice which tastes like chicken rice but minus the oil.
In addition, they are generous with their condiments like sambal chilli, cut chilli etc leaving them at a self-service counter. No need to ask for extra chilli from staff who will glare at you for your request.
The staff at Greendot are mostly quite polite and obliging, which is a break from other disinterested, indifferent or simply rude F&B staff elsewhere.
Go-to vegetarian joint with delicious soupy dishes as well as healthy economical rice options. Their speciality is their laksa and rendang. I personally love their bean noodles and herbal soups.
Went to the outlet last night with wife for the new mala stir fry. Service is excellent as always and this new mala is definitely a good addition! We'll definitely come back again for this mala stir fry!
Tasty vegetarian food. Esp like the laksa. Also enjoy the mushroom dish. Overall it does not feel like I am eating vegetarian food.
Lion Mane Mushroom was so flavourful.
Superb service. Everyone here is friendly and polite. Serves healthy and delicious vegetarian food. I only wish they could have a wider range of hot teas.
Nice modern Vege healthy restaurant. Food taste ok. Good if you are first timer turning vegan. It will ease the process of becoming healthier ???
:)
Excellent food, good service and healthy portion sizes. The brocolli here was better than any other green dot I have visited - slightly charred and cooked to perfection.
Food tasted good, very little wait time and decent portions per dish.
Only downside for me was that it does cost at least twice as much as places elsewhere less upscale.
Not convinced by the "boost immunity" claim on the menu, but the meatless Lion Mane Mushroom on Rendang was A-OK to this meatlover. Wallet's also happy with the sub-$10 prices.
Very healthy food options. They customize their dishes as per our requests. The aunty at the entrance always welcomes us with a smile.
Love how they always comes out with new menu and the classic bento still taste as good!! Keep up the creative innovation!
Nice ambience, great food. Definitely a place I'll visit over n over again for a vegetarian option.
Very tasty vegetarian food. I recommend it for vegans seeking some healthy options.
Great vegetarian food, pricier than a food court but definitely healthier and higher quality
Tasty food and great service 😋❤️❤️
I love their cake tiramisu and the nasi Beryani 😍😍
a nice place to eat healthier..
Loved their bentos. My personal favourite is their laksa, must try.
Must try the burger there!! Hot fries, crispy patty makes the money worth
Amount of food in Bento box is less compared with what show in menu list.
laksa was a litte bit too spicy but delicious!!!
Best place for low spice and PETA/vegetarians...!
Thier food is Nice ,the lak sa is very nice also
