Very nice vibrant Italian joint that we would gladly revisit. We had the in-house focaccia, burratina, pork cheek pasta, grilled turbot, butter corn and ended the meal with cannolis. TBH everything was really yummy. That turbot … oooh, crisp on the outside and juicy and flaky on the inside. If u think that it’s bland, no it’s not. Everything was well seasoned and man that garlic cream in the side just took everything to the next level. Def had a good experience!! That being said, a small request to the restaurant, please tone down the music. It was really loud that it not only gave me a headache, it was also impossible to have a decent conversation with my husband. Also I think it would be great if you serve pasta dishes after the appetizers are consumed. Other than, everything was awesome!
My wife and I visited on a Saturday evening (with reservation) for our anniversary dinner. The food was immaculate and the service was warm! Loved every single dish here - the pastas are a great way to fill up if large format meats aren’t up your alley for the evening. The little extra mile to remember our anniversary and the momento meant a lot to us.

Wife and I were attended to by Jack, who was very welcoming and had a good knowledge of the entire menu. The lasagne was very rich and the amount of truffles used as garnish was decent. The pappardelle had a wonderfully chunky meat sauce with a right amount of fattiness. We also had the bone-in Angus striploin (medium rare) which was well seasoned and did not require the accompanying condiments. The portion sizes of the mains are more generous than they look so 2 pastas and a steak (with broccolini and Brussels sprouts) was more than enough for 2 pax. A tad on the pricey side, but I think the quality of food and service will definitely bring me back on the regular.
Celebrated husband’s birthday here with family. Reservation process online was fuss-free. Restaurant was kind to accommodate last-min additional 2 pax on the day of. Service is immaculate. The porterhouse steak is good. We also enjoyed the parpadelle and pork chop. The focaccia, fusilli, and desserts were good but not wow. Overall a bit overpriced. Aircon was also too cold
Book a fairly new restaurant at East Coast Road as I was attracted by the grill!
It’s fish day today so we ordered the Sea Bass and it lovely! Grilled to perfection with charred points to add in ghee smokey flavour and a thin outer crust to crack into those tender and juicy flesh that can only be achieved with a good chef - kudos!
I am particularly attracted to their finger food. They are bite size and really a finger-long. So maybe search on Google first before you commit. It’s good for one person.
Some of the side dishes I think it’s priced too outrageously esp when the portion is small.
The space well designed and there is an open kitchen where you can see the grill.
There is one thing I agree with the reviewers here - the music is TOO loud!
It’s on full blast. When we asked for it to be lowered, they reluctantly reduced a notch but it’s still too loud for diners. We had to ask again.
Other than that, service was ok but does come across as pushy.
The food here is exceptional. We ordered the 30 days dry aged Porterhouse and it was amazing.
The focaccia bread is also a must order.
When we first seat down, We were given 2 glasses of champagne on the house.
The order was also very easy because the waiters recommended matching sides to go along with the steaks.
At the end of the dinner, we topped it with the cannoll. Yummy!

Had a wonderful dinner for 4 pax, service was attentive and the food was excellent. The restaurant itself was a bit small and crammed but that’s due to the shophouse type of building it was located. Loved the open kitchen and a good view of the grill. The porterhouse and fish, excellent. Grilled to perfection. Sides were equally good. Will definitely come again, even though it’s on the high side of one’s budget.
Gilbert, Sarah and team did a great job! My fiancée & I had a great time. Great vibes + music. Fabulous experience even before we entered till we left. Food was gooood! Bone-in striploin 👍👍👍!

Second time here. Started with the crab pasta. Pasta was cooked just right (al dente), with fresh tomato sauce and sizeable morsels of crab. Next up was the pork, which was succulent, well-seasoned and perfectly charred. The roasted potatoes on the side were pillowy on the inside and had a slight crunch on the outside. Service was attentive and prompt, Gilbert was kind to offer two complimentary cannolis at the end of our meal. will come back soon :)

The food is well worth its price and the food combination is refreshingly delicious.

The manager Gilbert and every service crew never fail to have an eye for details, noting our preferences and even remembered on our next visit.
You can really tell that Chef Andrea takes pride in every plate he introduced to us, of course with his chef team as well.

This place was giving immaculate vibes ✨ Every dish surprised us (in a great way), but we got the biggest surprise when they came over to celebrate my friend’s birthday with a hazelnut tiramisu and a very thoughtful and beautiful birthday card 🤯
We were a party of 2. And had a really good service experience at Griglia. One of the service staff overhead that it was a Birthday Thing from our table conversation. And even though we did not arrange it, came out with candles on a cake and printed a photo of us. I don't see this often nowadays. It was such a pleasant surprise, and with the good food and drink it made a very memorable experience with them. Thank You.
Highly recommend. Food was fresh and delicious. But somehow the focaccia was the winner of the dinner :)
Amazing food, esp the bone steak. Easily the best grill meat I’ve had in a long while! So good! Service was also fantastic and kudos to Chin for the great service for our table. Defo coming back here soon!

The newly opened restaurant offers amazing food in a warm, cozy and familiar atmosphere. Each dish is served with precision, showcasing delicious flavours that leave you wanting more.
We had a big group for lunch to celebrate one of our birthdays. The lunch team was awesome, and very friendly. We opted for the weekend menu, with their signature dishes. Everything was delicious, my personal favourite was the pasta - Mezzi fusilli, and Triofe. Absolutely delicious. Highly recommended!
My personal favourite is the fusilli pasta service is impeccable with complimentary focaccia and aperitif will sure come back again
Excellent food , we had the set menu for 2 pax and the turbot was excellent .. nicely salted & charred. Topping it off with excellent service by Jack , warm personal and yet not intrusive .. what a gem of a restaurant in east coast
I used it for dinner. When I ordered fish for the main course, unfortunately, it was sold out for the day, so I was recommended meat instead. However, since I cannot eat meat, I informed them that I would have pasta instead. The staff then discussed with the kitchen and went out of their way to serve us fish from the next day's stock.
She was very knowledgeable about the menu and provided precise advice regarding our orders. Additionally, the manager was very friendly and proffesional, always attentive to each table,and even gave us complimentary small dessert and after-dinner drinks. Every meal we ordered was delicious. It truly became one of our favorite restaurants with its outstanding hospitality. Highly recommended.
Had dinner at Griglia to celebrate my husband's birthday and we really enjoyed ourselves! The wagyu ribeye did not disappoint at all. Service from all the staff was amazing as well, and chin gave us good recommendations and was proactive in checking in on us throughout dinner. We even got a special photo printout of us with our dessert which was very sweet of them!
Hands down one of the best dining experiences I've had! The Italian open fire grill vibe was 🔥. From the sizzle of the grill to the mouthwatering flavors of the food, it was a feast for the senses. Definitely coming back for more!

What a gem in the neighborhood. Celebrated our friend’s birthday here this week. Staff were more than accommodating. Food was fantastic. The pasta dishes and mains were the stars. Will be back to try more. Bravo
Food was great! I recommend the porterhouse and pork chop. Appetisers are really small portions. The music is way too loud for a restaurant. The table we were assigned (under aircon cassette)was very cold. There's not many tables available to change cos restaurant is small setting so better to brg extra jacket. The charge of warm water $3/per pax is ridiculous to me. Hope they change tat too.
It is our first time here for a group lunch to celebrate the solemnisation of a newly wed couple. We did not mention anything at the reservation site. The service staff were very attentive, overheard our conversations and placed a congratulatory note in a form of chocolate on our desserts.
The doneness of the 30days dry aged porterhouse was so on point. Great wine too.
High quality food with good service. Next time will try the main wood fire steak.

Delicious food, cooked to perfection. Head chef came our to chat at the end of the evening - she clearly knows what she's doing! We loved it.
We just had the most amazing dinner here. They remembered us from weeks ago and treated us with such hospitality and totally pampered us with the most delicious, fresh and unique food. 100% would go there again. Dare I say it’s my new favourite restaurant! The vibe is fantastic and the design is so cosy.

Was here on a Saturday evening. Food was great and service was impeccable - Noel took us through the night with amazing hospitality to make us feel right at home. Definitely recommend for an enjoyable night out and will be back for sure.
Just had a wonderful dinner at Griglia Katong last night. The restaurant was recently opened.
We had a Angus steak and some sides. The steak was nicely done and sides were so good especially the baby corn.
The restaurant manager Gilbert and the staff were friendly. I have booked for our weekend brunch a few weeks later....highly recommend....

The staff are very friendly and alert and I would recommend you to go here. The steak was excellent and very juicy.Even I could enjoy the vegetables I won’t usually eat.The pasta was well cooked and the pork that came with it was very tender.
Cosy restaurant and appreciate the good service from the team. The only feedback would be if our starters could arrive at the same time. We ordered two portion each and each time only one portion came and the other half of the group can only stare.
Food was ok, the star of the show was our pappardelle even after we were quite full by the time it arrived. The other star was our dessert Nocclolamisu. May go back just for these two.
The place can get a bit noisy because of the music and the acoustic. So if you are considering a quiet date night, do change it to a fun date night instead.
I recently dined at your restaurant and would like to share my experience, which was unfortunately marred by subpar service. My reservation was scheduled from 6:15 PM to 8:15 PM. However, at 7:45 PM, a male waiter approached our table and reminded us that we needed to vacate by 8:00 PM. The manner in which this was communicated could have been more courteous. For example, instead of stating, "You know we need the table at 8:00 PM, right?", it would have been more appropriate to say, "Would you like me to organize your dessert?" This approach would have prompted us to conclude our meal more pleasantly.
Moreover, this information was incorrect, as I had been informed via email that our reservation was until 8:15 PM. Adding to the inconvenience, our order was not taken until around 6:40 PM due to the restaurant being understaffed, or perhaps because we were seated at the back and were overlooked.
Additionally, the restaurant's tight seating turnover contributed to a less than comfortable dining experience. Our group of three was seated just before the restroom, with one of us sitting along the walkway. Directly behind this seat was another patron facing the bar, making the path leading to the restroom extremely narrow and difficult to navigate.
While the food was satisfactory, it was not enough to compensate for the disappointing service and cramped seating arrangement.
Excellent selection of dishes which are not your mainstream Italian dishes. A different spin on few classic cocktails were great as well. Will definitely be back!

First time coming to Griglia. Ordered the set for 2. Loved the scallop starter. Grilled turbot was awesome with wonderful sides. Dessert - apple cake was tasty and lovely. Overall, I had a great meal with our lovely Vicky.
Came here for the 2024 Christmas set menu. I've been to Griglia (both at Katong and Craig Rd) three times in total, and the textures and flavours have always been on point. The steak and lamb rack are well-seasoned, tender, juicy, and cooked to perfection. The mustard sauces that come with the meat also compliment it perfectly.
The brussel sprouts that came with the gratinated cod were super flavourful and tender.
Always an enjoyable experience and truly a hidden gem!
