Reviews of Guo Qin Noodle - One Punggol
Decent plate of wanton mee for breakfast.
Not many stalls open for breakfast.
Noodles are really springy and nice bite.
Wanton are slightly small, char siew is nice.
$4 + $2 boiled wantons for a total of twelve meaty wantons! I ordered noodles in 黑辣, which is a combination of dark sauce and chilli sauce. The noodles are also tossed in crispy pork lard and the noodles texture was very springy. The wantons have quite a good marinade and they are one of the meatiest around these days.
Their noodle is really good, springy and not sticky. Had their dumpling noodle and their dumplings are pack with ingredients. Worth the price and taste. Most importantly it’s is cheap.
Ordered Shui Jiao noodle, noodle not so thick, texture is good, school time taste. Cost $5. Chicken feet 4 pcs for $6, quite pricey.
Overall I like the taste and texture but will not come that often.
First time eating here so after googling, settle with this noodle stall as it is late 1pm and there isn't any Q. Can't decide b/n wanton with char siew, pork rib or their dumplings noodle so end up ordering wanton mee + pork rib side + extra veg (to compensate all meaty orders 🫣).
Ok most ppl are right in their review as their pork ribs is must get item. Their noodle is Q and char siew is using lean meat 👍. I finished every single bit and love it. Next time I will be trying their dumpling noodle with pork rib side.🤘
I was still having some cough when I visited this stall. So, no chilli for me and since I dislike tomato, I asked for my dumpling hor fun (and my husband’s noodles) to be in dark soya sauce. It turned out, that could now be my favourite way to eat dumpling noodles. The horfun was smooth and caught the sauce really well. The sauce was light yet flavourful. Dumplings had sweet pork, thin skin and a slight crunch w water chestnut. The whole meal felt v balanced. The lady who took my order was friendly and patient too (to figure out my less common order). One of the better eats in sk/punggol.
Best wanton mee in the area! The way I remember it in my childhood days with springy noodles, sweet char siew and NOT default black sauce. Fried wanton add on is delicious :)
Glad they change back from plate to bowl and it's easier to stir the noodles.
One of the best wanton mee I’ve ever ate. Noodles were thin and springy, not too salty. Fried wonton was hot and crispy with a generous side of mayo. Braised chicken feet was fall off the bone tender. Had a really great experience, will be back!
Quite frankly, I think better than Kok Kee.
This noodle stall puts many famous competitors out there to shame. Noodles are springy with just the right amount of tasty sauce, not to mention they are also generous with their ingredients. Wantons are well made and not stingy with the fillings.
For those that eat pork, you should try their melt-in-the-mouth pork ribs.
Punggol residents are in for a treat.
Pleasantly surprised with how good the wanton mee really is. Noodles were qq (just the way I like them), the charsiew roasted to perfection and the wantons (both fried and boiled) simply sublime. Friendly folk manning the stall is a definite bonus. I hear this is their 2nd stall with the original one bearing the same name located in Hougang. We will definitely be back!!!
Al dente noodles. Seasoning got old school feel. Taste very much like my fav noodles in the 90s. Highly recommended.
1st time trying, very nice wanton Mee..q was long.. noddle was springly .. taste of old sch..must eat
one of the best I have eaten.. braised chicken feet and dumplings are excellent as well..
Traditional tasting Singaporean wan ton noodle. Very nice.
Excellent. Consistent.
Very delicious wonton noodles, chewy and delicious, reasonably priced, worth a try, very delicious, will come again next time. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
