Reviews of GYOZA BAR, North Canal Road
So glad I found this little hole in the wall! Love it! The space is small and intimate, you are immediately greeted by a friendly Japanese staff (owner?). The gyoza was lip-smacking good - juicy and flavourful inside, crispy skin outside. We also had ramen and karaage. Love the karaage too - exactly typical Japanese izakaya style. Also have a good selection of sake and shoju at affordable prices. Love this place, will definitely be back!
Know about this restaurant by local competitive eater Zermatt Neo. The best Gyoza I ever tasted ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️Strongly recommend anyone who love Gyoza to try 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Great selection of sake, tasty gyoza and other small Japanese dishes. Perfect place for a quiet evening. Sitting at the bar counter is best as the tables feel too big. Enjoy great Japanese service. Prices are on the higher side.
Amazing gyoza and ramen spot, with excellent ramen, tantan tofu, gyoza of various types and also honey-yuzu citrus tea. The service is polite and friendly (when I was there last a year ago it was 2 Japanese waitresses) and the atmosphere cozy. Recommended! [We often bring friends there as it's great to chat and eat together there, although it has to be a small group because the area seats a little over a dozen people altogether!]
Every time I visit here I have Japanese dry noodle, Nagoya style. The texture of noodles is amazing and I personally want to learn how to cook the eggs. Would be a lot better if they have bigger space.
Cozy hidden bar in Boat Quay area. Can enjoy homemade fresh gyoza with champagne or recommended Sake. They have various gyoza everyday, especially prawn gyoza is must try.
Simple menu that is executed very well
First time eater, lifetime fan. Very good.
Best chicken gyoza i had!
A small bar..hidden ..serving yummy food and drinks! I will visit again
Never have i put so many gyozas in my mouth and not felt a tinge of shame
Love the dry ramen!
Lunch time it's noodle restaurant
Food so so only
The atmosphere is good, and both the grilled and boiled gyoza are delicious❗
We're friends with a ramen shop called Matsuri on the first floor, so you can also eat ramen there.
Although the menu is small in quantity and variety, the quality is high and it is cheap compared to other Japanese restaurants in Japan, so I find it very useful.
Gyoza is delicious.
