Donkey remember its previous location in the Sembawang/Woodlands area, easily accessible to motorcyclists. This time, our friends and us visited the new Lock Road location to watch the MotoGP. We've been to Handlebar many times, and this visit solidified its place as a favorite. The decor is truly outstanding, a five-star rating is well-deserved! The atmosphere is cozy and inviting, with a unique and extensive motorbike theme that permeates every corner, even the restrooms. The service was excellent, attentive, and friendly. Their beer selection is vast with 'Suicide Mug' being a clear favorite among regulars. We sampled a range of dishes from their menu, Guinness Draught, 1664, cheese fries, fried pork belly, and blossom onion rings, to name a few. While the food quality was above average, the extensive variety available is a major plus. It's a fantastic place to relax with friends, especially if you appreciate motorbikes. The combination of great food, a unique atmosphere, excellent service, and a wide selection of beers makes Handlebar a highly recommended establishment.

Great place for big groups and western food. Check out thr toilets and the decor... super artistic! Outdoor seating is great, until the rain comes but they're well prepared with rollers on the benches and extended roofing! 😀

Biker themed bar - very tastefully done and a bit quirky. The staff is super friendly and very knowledgeable. The food puts a lot of high-end to shame! Well worth a visit, or two!

One of our favorite place for lunch! Great vibe and atmosphere, love the deco both indoors and outdoors. The indoor seatings are cold enough so it's good for people who do not enjoy the heat. Outdoor seatings are pet friendly. Good drinks and awesome food are reasonable price. Love their ravioli and beef burger! Not to forget they have very friendly peeps serving too!

Super chill vibes, great ambience. Loved the exquisite decor. Nothing pretentious. Most of the items off the menu were pretty yummy. Cocaine wings could use some improvement. Was a tad tricky to get the attention of the wait stuff, but I guess you could just walk over...would definitely come back again!

Chill, quiet and nicely decorated biker themed restaurant. Ambience is great, food is good. Dined here a couple of times and the food takes a bit of time to come but you won't be disappointed when it arrives. Beers on tap, tiger beer and Guinness draught. Give the fried cauliflower a try. The wings can pretty spicy if you like!

Nice little quaint spot in the afternoon. Heard that it can get bustling in the evenings. Service was good. Plenty of outdoor sitting, indoor was good today since we made a booking and was a warm day. Special mention to the blossom onion and pumpkin ricotta ravioli! Both of these were my favourite from the dishes ordered. Very interesting menu!

Had a great time at this restaurant. The quality of the food was amazing. The chicken burger especially was one of the best I’ve had in Singapore. The meat was tender and topped with an amazing sauce. The bun was soft and just slightly crispy. The pizza was flavourful and had a lightly crispy crust. The cocktails were well blended and tasted great. The ambience was unique. The whole theme has the vibe of a bikers stop. Bikers often drop by with their fancy rides for food, drinks and often smoke cigars with it. The restaurant provides both indoor and outdoor seating options. The bar looks great in the afternoon, but is really well lit at night. I truly appreciate the effort taken with the lighting of this place. He overall experience was great. Would definitely recommend coming here with friends and family. A truly unique experience.

Great place to chill with your friends. Open seating with lot of greenery around. Food is good...try the lamb chops.highky recommended. Only bummer was that the desserts didn't live up to the expectations...icecream had ice shards, cheesecake was a bit puffy & sour. So stay away from the desserts but mains are solid. Good options for booze as well. Parking for bikes is right at the restaurant....so just drive straight to the place 👌

Check out ig: @oyinshii Great place to visit although slightly inaccessible should you not drive. We took a little hike in and really was rewarded whem we reached the place. All the fairy lights looked great with the open air seatings. Staff was friendly and well prepared, they provide insect repellent upon request. Food was great too! Highly recommend their blooming onion and ribs. Had an enjoyable evening, place is suitable for big groups.

Was there today ( Sat) with my family at 6.45pm Please make reservations as this place gets busy real quickly during dinner time. This place has a large footprint. We sat outdoors, this place serves ice water. Orders 3 main Course ( jumbo grilled prawns, fish burger and mushroom burger ) and 2 sides. ( cos fish and cauliflower bites ) Servers were friendly. Sides came in 10-15 mins into ordering. Our mains took 30 mins ( after the sides) to arrive, not sure why it took so long, I’m guessing kitchen can’t cope well. The fish burger is big so for small eaters, you may wish to share with with a friend. You can see the staff working hard serving the customers. This place is child friendly, baby chairs are available upon request . Overall dining experience is good but the waiting time of the food can be improved .

We enjoyed the nice greenery n serene surroundings as we chose to sit outside. Not much crowd that day, probably we were there early n it was jus after rain. There's a Ducati bike on display there. We ordered beef short ribs, which was kinda huge. The bone was almost the length from wrist to elbow. The meat was soft n fork-tender, easily falls off the bone. Taste was not bad but wish there were more sauce. Good that it has some salad to cut the meatiness. We also ordered cod fish bites n fried onion blossom as appetizers. The fish bites are nice n not too oily. The onion blossom is interesting. Instead of onion rings, its in fries form. Its quite huge though n good for 3 to 4 pax.

A great Place in a perfect location. Clearly directed to the growing Motorcycle scene the ‘new’ bikers. A western decor concept and food. Generously wide Indoor and outdoor seating in a cosy relaxed atmosphere at a quite corner of the Gilmore barracks near Alexandra Road. Spend some time for a cool beer even so you don’t have a Bike (yet)

Service was good as well as the Nachos but food taste & quality of main course wasn't what we had expected. I had been here many times before but this is the 1st time the food didn't satisfy me and I even brought a friend . To my dismay , she didn't even like her food as well coz of too much pepper in her stew rather than beef. Oh well.... not a good time I guess.

Was randomly google-ing on places to eat nearby home and a fee popped up. Handlebar was one of them and decided to give it a try. When we arrived, place looked cool and chill with a few bikes and cars parked. Both vehicles had limited parking lots. Made reservation for 2 pax at 730pm but arrived around 715pm and we were ushered to our outdoor table though I had requested for an indoor. Outdoor seating were made up of wooden benches that made it a relax feel when sat on. Staff were generally friendly, all smiles and approachable. We ordered: 1. Caesar salad + chicken breast 2. Cod fish bites 3. Mushroom soup 4. Fish and Chips 5. Smoked pork with jalapeño pizza 6. Lavender camomile tea 7. Lychee Iced Tea Total damaged $97~ Our eyes were bigger stomach.. kind of ordered too much. Was happy with the portion of food especially the salad with add on chicken breast. True to the words of the staff, the chicken breast was pre-marinated and after grilling, it was still tender and juicy, not dry and tasteless. Cod fish bites.. order it! Soft on the inside, crispy light batter on the outside. Mushroom soup tasted the scent of mushrooms with it being more liquidity rather than thick(with more cream) added. Fish and Chips and Pizza was alright... decent enough. My only complaint was eating in darkness.. I know and understand the ambience but would appreciate a candle lighted on my table as eating in dark does not make my process of eating pleasurable. Overall, would return again.

Decided to come here for an early weekend lunch, mainly to avoid the usual crowds in the malls. Not disappointed. Food came fast and really yummy. Tried 2 items on the new weekend lunch menu : chicken steak and salmon alio olio. Pretty good!

A nice chill out place if you wanna have a few round of drinks, you could easily sit outdoor, special bikes decorations both inside out. Even the toliets uses hammer as dead weight or door closer. $28 for 3 jumbo prawns, not sure if it's worth it. beef stew were too salty and starchy, wings were definitely 🔥

Motorcycle friendly restaurant, you can literally ride all the way into the place. Great place to hang out in the evening where there's breeze. Lots of outdoor seating (good for smokers). Decent food, love their lamb, wings are very mild for local taste buds even on their spiciest level.

This restaurant is off the beaten track and not so accessible if you don't drive. Mainly alfresco with some indoor spaces. We ordered a platter to share (3 of us). Food was of acceptable standard. Jumbo Prawn was a bit undercooked and so they had to bbq it some more after the shell was removed. The end result is of course too dry.. Overall, can go if want a place to chill and get away from the crowd.

3rd time in 3 months. I am becoming addicted to this place. 🤣 lets get to the point, the main reason for craving this place is truly the beef short ribs and grilled porkchop. My 5 accompanying partner in crimes will all swear upon it. In unison, we will always go for a lychee ice tea in the first around while we hungrily devour the the broccoli fritos, cod fish bites, fried jalapeno. The mains will be quickly served and typically consist of our must haves- beef short ribs, pork chop, beef stew and a customised pizza with toppings tt depends on our mood of the day. It is almost clockwork that we will make plans for handlebar every month. Don't say bo jio.

Nice chill out place in the evening, but bring some mosquito repellant as these guys are out in full force at night. Ordered the ribeye at $58- it was delicious and the foie gras was a rather piece. However, the side dish that came with it fell short, no veg, no roasted tomatoes, fries came separate in a small soup bowl; could be improved. Ordered another dish of jumbo prawns for $28 which came burnt on the skin on most areas and the meat feeling drier than usual. The onion blossom was awesome, crust was still intact when served and no sign of outer skin of the onion.

Best place to be with good crowd, ample place to park the bikes and the food is great. The chef takes pride of his service and food quality. The dessert Tiramisu is a must have (when available). A must to visit if never experienced before.

Visited the previous handlebar at sembawang when I was young, loved the food and atmosphere then. Now that I have my own bike, found this place again and was reminded of those fond memories years ago. The atmosphere is unique and there are many things of interest all around the shop. The food is good too, especially the grilled lamb chop. Do recommend to try it out. If you are a biker, you can park your bike right up the store front and snap a cool picture.

Food is quite good for the price in such a green location. Decor is 1st class. So unique, so much thought out into every piece of furniture and section of the restaurant. Not very environmentally friendly though as the design requires the indoors door to be open while blasting aircon so it would be great if they didn’t do that to do their bit for the planet.

Trippin balls. The laidback relaxed atmosphere is hard to find on this little red dot. Beer was cold. I didn't eat anything but my guests did and it looked tasty and was a decent amount of food. I will be going back for sure.

Nice and quiet place for my pre dinner drinks. I had a good experience with their service staff and I would love to give a special mention to a young girl who looked just out of school. She's the lively one there and I was wowed by her cheerfulness. Standard bar grub was good - calamari, sausages, deep fried onion, shrimp.

Love the energy of one of the waitress. Her energy is high from the start of my dinner till the end. Very polite as well. Made the mediocre food better. My chicken steak was dry and looks sad with just a few broccoli and 2 small carrots and a small mash potatoes. Didn't even have fries with it.

The food is insanely good. I'm from rural America, and I can safely say that these people know ribs and chicken. Beer was a great price as well. The best thing about this place though is the atmosphere. It's out in the woods and overlooks the causeway. It's not crowded there like the rest of Singapore, and has a nice family-run down home feel to it. I'll be going back there weekly from now on. Oh and friendly staff too.

I missed the food ever since they moved away from sembawang, ordered their fish and chips and it's just as good as before. The place is now bigger having more seats and ambience is definitely better than the old place. Rather than beside a kayak shed, they are near other colonial building and gives a better ambience

Generally OK, but beware of mosquitoes if you are sitting in the outdoor area. Was bitten by one mere minutes after I sat down. The attentive staff saw it and passed me a can of insect repellant. Food wise, the double cheeseburger is huge, but the patty is a little on the dry side, not juicy enough. My friend had the pork chop and it was quite dry too. Guess we chose the wrong mains. Nacho with cheese was good, as was the chicken wings.
