Good food at an affordable price! The portions were generous too! We particularly enjoyed the seafood pancake and japchae. The pancake had so much seafood and was crispy and fluffy at the bottom 😋 Would recommend my friends coming here!

We had the potato and beef ribs stew for 2 persons. The soup is very flavourful with a rich tomato base with a little spice. Beef is tender and the meat falls of the bones easily. The banchan is well done too. The kimchi is of the right age that most people will enjoy. We got free ice cream each after the meal which was a pleasant surprise! 😊 The only down part is that there isn’t an exhaust for the BBQ at the tables. So I walk out smelling of BBQ even though I didn’t have it.

Great food with good value. Side dishes are decent, but the kimchi is good. Even if you like or dislike glass noodles, they are worth a try as they are really good. Will recommend!

Ordered pork belly with kimchi, steamed egg and rabokki. Banchan was refillable. You can choose for the kitchen to cook the Meat or you can cook it yourself. Felt the meat quality was okay and not as nice as other kbbq places like WDB. They gave free melona ice cream as dessert and there’s no GST. So quite shiok

Passed by a couple of times but first time trying. Staffs were pretty friendly in recommending some of their signature items. Unique to find abalone porridge in their menu. Portion size, it’s actually quite big. Because we had decent group, hence was able to try more things; hankang bbq set (that’s been bbq in the kitchen already), seafood pancake, glass noodles, abalone porridge, fried chicken and some sides. Fav wish would be the seafood pancake. But don’t rly like the bbq pork, because the pork smell is just too overwhelming. Tried covering it with cheese, but it was still quite unbearable, we have quite a lot of poor leftover. The chicken wings alittle too flour-y. The banchan was quite delicious; wide selections, and refillable. You can help yourself to the free melon ice cream after your meal. 👍🏼

A surprise find in a place atypical of korean restaurants! Highly recommend their seafood pancake, rice balls (diy) and Korean Fried Chicken. Will visit with more friends so we can try more dishes next time!

Saw that this place always had a queue and came to try. Tried to call in for reservation, they tried to accomodate by telling you to come earlier but actually they don't accept reservations. It is usually crowded at meal times. Ordered the pork bbq, steam egg, kimchi soup and beer. Surprised that they have draft guinness and the happy hour price was good! The side dishes were great and the staff happily refilled for us, water was also served and I think it is barley tea. Kimchi Soup was great and portion is bigger than other korean restaurants I went, steamed egg portion was also good. BBQ pork was a little dry and tough but generally it is okay. As we most korean bbq, it will get smokey and oily, so be prepared. There's also free ice cream at the end of the meal! The staff were friendly and tries to accomodate. Will definitely be back to try it during lunch time again.

This new place opened up just recently. The fengshui of this stall is questionable. Seen so many other eating places come and go. But I was happy that a Korean food stall opened up here. This place does not take reservations. And the many times I've passed by, it's always been crowded. Wasn't sure if it was cos it was a newly opened place or food really good. so had to give it a try. Turnaround time is fast. Arrived at about 6, was packed. No tables available. By 6.15, 3 parties had finished. Food took about 25 mins to arrived. Decent servings for the price. Ban chan had 6 dishes. A tofu, spinach, fishcake, sausage, potatoes and of course Kim chi. We had 2 servings. Steamed egg came next, it was mediocre The meat platter came and it was quite a big portion. Meat came in thick cuts, but was tender. The wagyu beef cubes were really good. Definitely would come back again

For a place that is owned and run by mainland Chinese, the quality of Korean food is really quite high. We really enjoyed the dolsot pork bibimbap and seafood pancake, although we would recommend staying far away from the overpriced fried chicken which came pooled in oil and sauce, and the banchan left much to be desired. 10/10 would return for the bibimbap and pancake though.

Firstly, takeaway has a 20% off which was great! Since I took away the food so atmosphere wise can’t comment! Food wise was nice and flavourful ( order kimchi soup )! However, service wise was lacking a lot. The staff did not realise that I didn’t pay and I forgot about it too. I called them to ask to transfer the money, but they were too busy blaming each other than trying to solve the problem 😅.

Was looking forward to nice dinner, yet was utterly disappointed with everything. I am doing my best to give a balanced review and not review bomb due to my negative experience. 1st: Non-existent Queue System There were 2 different types of tables - BBQ table and non-BBQ table. That was the only question that the staff would ask when people gathered outside. Yet there was no effort to put in a workable queue be it digital or physical. The tanjong pagar outlet appeared to have similar issues yet there was nothing done by the owner even though he acknowledged the customer's review. Complete lip-service. 2nd: Reservation vs No Reservation As it was in the neighbourhood, my parents came by to ask if reservations sere allowed. Yet while we were queuing, there was a group that came by who claimed that reservation was made. Staff led the group in and tried to explain to us queuing that reservation was made directly to the boss and they brought them in to prevent complaints. They even said that they are asking the boss to take down the reservation system as it was making their work very difficult. This is utterly absurd service policy. Management may wish to relook into how reservations and queue systems could at least make the entire service decent. Staff promised us extra ice cream as compensation but they ran out and we did not get any in the end either. 3rd: Long Waiting Time for Food The food had taken MORE THAN 45 MINS to come which is ridiculous by any kind of service standard. While I understand that this may be true if the restaurant is understaffed for cooked food. Does raw food that need to be BBQ-ed, especially being one of their staple menu items, take such a long time to prepare? 4th: "Trial Operations" I've seen many other responses by the owner saying that they were doing trial operations and sought our understanding for any lapse in service. Not sure what this means but even for trial operations, this poor level of service just screams poor management decisions and inability to ensure that adequate processes/ training are in place. I am not sorry for being this "harsh" because these are basic restaurant operational issues that would have been foreseen by any decent owner. I for sure will not be returning to this place anytime soon or until I see things picking up. For those looking for a quick dinner with friends or family, you're better off trying someplace else. Cater at least 3 hours from start of queue to payment for dinner for the time being.

The environment is really nice, the air conditioning is not too cold, and the staff is very friendly. I went there without checking the opening hours in advance, but they let me sit in and order my order. The food was served very quickly and tasted good. very nice! Worth praising.
