It was our first time dining here, and we were surprised by the crowd at this zichar stall in a quiet industrial estate on a Sunday evening. The two of us ordered Curry Fish Head ($32), Sambal Kangkong ($9.80), and two plates of rice ($1 each). Despite their names, the dishes were not spicy. The taste was good, and the fish was fresh. The service was quick and friendly. We enjoyed the meal and plan to return with family to try their other dishes.

Good ZhiChar at a reasonable price. Portion is good, in a nice cosy foodcourt setting. In the evening, only operated by the ZhiChar operator. You are allow to bring your own wine and liquor & glass too! Do note that they charge a small fee for wine glass, I think $1 each as they need to provide the glass and wash. 👍 Their crab is very fresh, meat texture is good. $90+ per kg. I paid $250 for 7pax with crab. Without crab slightly less than $100. Little bit out of the way, located in Tagore Lane industrial area, need to drive/grab. But I enjoy the not so crowded and not noisy environment.

One of my favorite dining place whereby they service was good and the staffs were always friendly and cheerful. Been dining here for more than 2 years, and I used to hold gathering and dinners with friends here during festive seasons. Give it a try if you have not been here. Dinner & lunch periods are the peak hours but getting a place to seat is less of an issue, as there were plenty of tables and chairs around.

1st time here and definitely not the last.. food and service was great! Waited a while for Pork rib but end product is worthwhile.. it taste just like Naughty Nuri @ Bali Seminyak! Complimentary cold green bean soup was served too.. will be back to explore the rest of dishes from menu!

Made a reservation and the place was really packed on a Saturday night. We tried some of their signature dishes such as honey bbq pork ribs, salad prawns, lotus leave rice, beancurd with cai pu and spinach with egg. Every dish was so tasty and portion was decent despite the a slight delay between the dishes. Do note that this tze char stall is located within an industrial building so accessibility might be an issue for those who don’t drive. But definitely a tze char place that the family would return to!

Hokkien noodle is okay. Portion is big. Salted egg ribs, salted egg sauce is nice. But rib is dry.

Dapaoed food from Hwa Seafood as we have more than 5 people in our family so unable to eat out together. Food was good. Appreciated that they separated the sauce from our yam basket so that it wouldn't be soggy. The lala with spring onion was a little salty. The honey pork ribs was really yummy / one serving only has 4 ribs so order more!!

Is my first time 2b here after I have read this place reviews. 1st impression feels good cause the place is really clean & the ladies service us are really nice & good service. I have ordered chilli crab & prawn paste chickens. Both turn out 2b good👍👍👍👍. I will go back again to try other dishes.

1st time here. The food is serve quite fast. Waited no more than 10 minutes to have our first dish out. Completed the meal within 30 minutes. If you can drive coming here to eat not bad. Parking is ample.

Food was good, portions are generous. We particularly enjoyed the horfun, honey pork ribs, har cheong gai and salted egg chicken. There was also complimentary dessert (red bean soup). The service staff was also very attentive when we were there. We were there to celebrate a birthday and they offered to move us to another table and even took the initiative to pass us a knife when they saw that we were having trouble cutting the cake. The coffee shop is clean and comfortable too.

Good food in general. Not overly saltish. Chaipo tofu, grilled sotong, curry fish head is good. Price is quite cheap. Sotong wasn't fully cooked but staff insist on changing a new one instead of rebooking it. Very good service by the staff there. Overall experience is very good. Definitely recommend.

Food is tasty and servings are of a good size. Pricing is reasonable. You can have a relatively filling meal of lotus rice, meat and vegetables for about $16 per head.

Very disappointed with the chilli crabs. Purposely went down after seeing the ratings were not bad. My family of 3, we just ordered a chilli kangkong n 2 nos. of crabs. 1 crab was gd fresh but the other 1 was lousy coz the meat was soft n melt in ur mouth. It's either a dead or going to. So my rating for food is only 3 stars. Service was gd after i told her 1 of the crab was nt fresh n they gave me a discount. Atmosphere was ok as the area are big n well ventilated.

The food is not really good. Edible. But certain dishes like the fried egg and even the fish is overcooked and charred. The service is good as when we pointed out that the fish smells bad, they change a whole fresh fish without question.

Food is really good. But be prepared to wait as the food served are very random at all tables and somehow, I suspect that they did not optimize to cook similar dishes together but dish by dish. The neighbouring table actually asked the remaining dishes be cancelled and most customers are a tad grumpy. But they were nice to apologise for the long wait affecting everyone and hopefully, this will improve. Taste wise, I must say they are good and deserve another review when I come back again. Could have been a 5 stars but not for the long wait.

The food was whipped up reasonably fast with good intervals. Food was of good portion and surprisingly reasonable, to boot. Ample parking and airy food court, with Hwa Seafood occupying most of the tables. Great for Reunion Dinner tho I did not check the availability of services during CNY. Highly recommended 👌

Came here on a Friday night. Location was abit hard to find. We had two dishes - salted egg chicken and cereal prawn. Salted egg chicken is pretty good, cereal prawn was not that great - coated with a very thick layer of batter and cereals were a little burnt as well.

Had a most enjoyable dinner at this zizhar place. The honey bbq pork ribs was really delicious. I highly recommend this as a must order. Tender, juicy and fall off the bone meat texture. I was also smitten by the bean curd dish with the most delicious toppings. Wish I had ordered an up sized dish. Service was prompt despite the overwhelming crowd on Mothers Day. Very rare to see a happy, hardworking service crew putting on a great smile and giving best service. I really was most impressed and grateful they made this Mothers Day celebration a sweet one with their complimentary desert. Will come back for next visit.

Excellent food served here, with v v reasonable local prices. Do NOT order Big portions, even if you go in a big group. Our group of 7 ordered BIG dishes and yes. They came BIG. We had to takeaway 4 out of 7dishes.

First visit to Hwa Seafood. Food come in big portion with reasonable price. The chef special dishes are very nice whereas the normal one are so so. Worth come back to try the other dishes. Easy parking as there are plenty of parking space.

Most of the time I ordered San lor horfun.It has some wok hei,price reasonable for Zhi zhar.Best part is that they always follow your request like less salt. Cons is that we are not allowed to sit at nearby table reason being reserved. I think is just an excuse . Told them by the time I finished eating,customers still yet to show up. Tasty and affordable. The salted egg yolk crab was so good we cleaned up the plate literally. Other dishes were cripsy, fresh and piping hot. Such a satisfying meal to end our hike from Bishan to Thomson Nature Park! Quality zichar for $125, including a 1kg crab. And thankfully not awfully thirsty after makan, means little or no msg used in the cooking.

Self-driving is more convenient, but buses or subways are less convenient. The environment is very nice and not too noisy. It mainly serves local dishes and seafood. The chef is pretty good. Well worth a visit.
