G.Staffs are really friendly and helpful! Restaurant is the only packed place in the Grantral Mall
Would be great if there are more variety of drinks and dessert as there were only 1 type of dessert and 2 choice of drinks.
Like the choice of having both bbq and shabu shabu but more time is spent on the bbq
Marinated meat is nice, I would recommend getting the marinated pork and beef roll
For shabu shabu I would recommend their sukiyaki soup base
Y.The gem of this mall for sure, attracting a large crowd all round the store during meal times.
Service is really quite horrendous though, submitted various order slips and didn’t came through - and they still were reminding us when our time limit is nearing🤷🏻♂️ Ownership is really lacking across the board for the male servers.
Food was okay, some of those marinated meat were nice, but the army stew is something I would avoid - really weird taste to it.
Not sure if I would revisit this outlet considering the selection and service.

Grantral mall is just beside Clementi mall for those who are new. Theres no parking at Grantral mall, you may park at Clementi mall/outdoor carpark to get there if u are driving.

Meat cuts were good. Would recommend the volcano chicken, beef rolls and spicy pork collar.
T. J.Managers and staffs are friendly and helpful. Good and cosy environment. Seafood, meat and vegetables are very fresh and well prepared. Only minor issue is choices of snacks are limited to chicken wring, cheese toufu and french fries. But this is not a problem for my family. Quite value for money. You could pay few dollars lesser and eat at other Chinese bbq buffet restaurants but most likely with compromise environment and food not fresh.

G. J.It’s reasonably priced, given that customers get to enjoy both bbq and hotpot. Most of the customers look like students. Dining environment is clean but tables are really small. Service is quite good, most of the wait staff are friendly, attentive and polite. Food quality and variety is average though, but it’s ok for a budget buffet meal. However, it will be better if they provide ice cream instead of the green colour creamy dessert.
L. A.This review is quite dated but I just recalled the name of the staff that I would like to greatly compliment. So sorry about that! My friends and I ate at the Halal Mr Kim Buffet Grantal Mall outlet on 3 February 2023, dinner slot. May and her colleagues served us. The food was amazing. The staff topped up the food religiously. May was alert in seeing that our initial table was rather squeezy for 4 fairly big-sized adults to be seated at, so out of her own accord and kindness, she changed our table seating to a spot more spacious and easily accessible despite it being a busy period. She auto-helped move our things too! She didn't have to but was so selfless of her. We were so grateful that May was quick-thinking. All in all it was a fantastic dining experience. Appreciate the staff's efficiency. I am going again today but this time with my family. So excited!

K.Came here for a gathering dinner of 11 pax.The.manager May n her team were really friendly n prompt in their service.they always ensure that our bbq paper wis changed promptly so that we enjoy our food. Their food may be average like any heartland area.but the friendly n prompt service was better than those high end korean restuarant.
Good experience n will come back again!

Celebrated Grandparents birthday today, we brough along a full cake staff when out of the way to prep the cake, managed to provide takeway boxes with tape
Dont expect this service but main point is they are extremely helpful with providing services they can offer

A. M.Went here for lunch with some friends. We got the student discount. Really a good selection of food for the price! The staff were friendly and helpful. There were lots of food options which was perfect for me since I only eat chicken. Kimchi fried rice was really good as well! Definitely recommend if you're out with friends!

K. P.Fantastic place to eat this wonderful food. I'm glad we came here with my kids to celebrate Kevin's birthday. I highly recommend everybody to come here and try their food.
