Reviews of Imperial Grand Cantonese Cuisine
Our whole family (17 of us) loves to have meals @ this restaurant for years! Always appreciate lady boss, Canice and her team for rendering great service and provide authentic Cantonese dishes! 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
Our recent special request for the tasty delicacy Hairy crabs were done perfectly! Very impressive, as most well-reputated restaurants (here or overseas) are not able to attain this standard. Excellent!! 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
Good Cantonese cuisine restaurant, they have good Dian Sum and other dishes are not bad. They provide karaoke too. Services are excellent and fast. The food is fresh. xiao long bao are so so. They formerly located at Chinatown Point Level 1. My second time here 2024 of June
Cosy Cantonese restaurant in Little India. Pretty popular with regulars for dim sum gatherings with karaoke. They have privately rooms too. Reasonably priced dimsum
the salt and pepper popcorn chicken & roast pork were amazing, highly highly recommend! perfectly tender and tasty. the beed kailan was a little weak in terms of taste, but texture was perfect. the xo fried carrot cake was good, but not amazing. will come back to try the duck and dimsum next time!
very attentive servers who kept refilling our teas. overall pleasant experience and will come back 👍🏻
Very friendly and professional serving very nice Cantonese Cruise. Very thoughtful for Birthday celebrations. 🎂
Overall great experience and enjoyed lunch during CNY weekend. Best part was the mango sego with coconut ice cream and kids loved it. Loved all the items , see photos.
We came here on a Wednesday and was pleasantly surprised to find 2 guys singing on the small stage. They were belting out a series of nostalgic Cantonese songs. It can be a bit loud but certainly quite an unique experience 😀
Food was nothing fancy but it was delicious. Service was friendly and prompt too. And reasonable pricing 👍🏼
This old school-esque restaurant has a nostalgic vibe as you approach the entrance up the escalator.
We were greeted by the friendly and attentive staffs throughout, we had a room and they weren’t intrusive but rather ninja like with the services from bringing in and out the dishes and drinks to tidying up after we had finished our meal.
Overall we were very pleased with what the restaurant had to offer, the food, delicious, the service, can’t fault them.
Will definitely recommend and come back again.
Well done Imperial Grand!
Came here on a weekday for birthday celebration. The manager promptly made a surprise birthday free dessert.
Food is good cantonese cuisine with wok hei especially the xo fried carrots and crab meat bee hoon.
Will come back again for other dishes and dim sum.
They have private rooms too.
Old but gold, Old style handmade dim sum, great taste not too oily or overpowering.
Love the food served as the taste is very traditional and authentic taste for the dishes.
Top 3 must order food!
1. Fried Carrot Cake with XO Sauce – wok hey taste and totally not oily
2. Soya Sauce Marinated Chicken – well marinated, tender and juicy. I love the ginger spring onion sauce to go with the chicken.
3. Braised Vermicelli with Crab Meat & Egg in Black Vinegar – very unique dish with generous crab meat served
We end the meal with the Crispy Black Sesame Pancake (must try) as there is always room for dessert.
The service staffs are friendly. Everyone of the dishes was so delicious. There were also a few unique dishes that they had that were really sumptuous like the prawnballs. There's even karaoke for you to Sing!
Joined a yearend function held there. The food is generally ok for such activity. Nothing stand out particularly for me during this eight course meal.
This is a small restaurant situated on the 3rd floor of a small commercial building along sam leong road. The place hosts about 20+ tables give or take so nothing much to expect in terms of ambience.
But the food was exceedingly good. The Peking duck’s carbo dish- braised ee Mian was v well done. Their salt pepper white bait or sotong balls was delightful and fantastic to go with alcohol. Prawn balls and corn flakes pretty interesting. Prices were fair for that quality.
Worth a visit and a return.
Definitely a great place for gathering with food that are fresh & tasty especially the oysters .
We also enjoyed singing the Ktv & live music performances.
Staff were friendly & attentive too !!!👍🏻
Delicious and authentic Cantonese cuisine (and dim sum), excellent and attentive service, and a cosy dining environment.
Value for money and good promotion deals.
It has a live band performance on Tue and Wed evening and also private rooms (with Karaoke) too.
One of the best Cantonese restaurants in Singapore. We really enjoyed our dinner party there. Food was really delicious and well-presented. We were there to celebrate a birthday and had a "grand" dinner. The service was impeccable. We really enjoyed every dish served that evening.
I recently dined at this wonderful Cantonese restaurant, and it was an experience worth sharing! From the moment we stepped in, the service was impeccable. The staff greeted us warmly and were attentive throughout our meal, making sure every detail was perfect.
The highlight, of course, was the dim sum. Each piece was a little parcel of joy, expertly crafted and bursting with flavor. The variety was impressive, from the succulent siew mai to the tender char siew bao, each bite was better than the last. It's clear that they use high-quality ingredients and traditional techniques to deliver authentic and delicious dishes.
The ambiance of the restaurant is old school nice - and all these added to the overall delightful experience. It was homely yet comfortable, allowing us to relax and enjoy our meal.
The combination of exquisite dim sum, flawless service, and a pleasant atmosphere makes it a must-visit for anyone looking to enjoy a good old school Cantonese cuisine. I can't wait to return and indulge in their culinary delights again!
Food tasted really good, and very authentic.
Staff feels like they are old friends to the customers.
There is a karaoke in the restaurant - may not be conducive for talking but it gives a different dining experience
Exquisite Cantonese dishes with the old days flavours. Food taste good and affordable. Service are professional and friendly. Good for small gatherings at the vip room with the latest ktv entertainment.
Gem of a restaurant. Food is good. Has karaoke and private rooms.
Service from all the staff was a 5 stars. The food are all to our liking. Taste was also good…
Great food. Pig throttle and Peking duck is one of the best I tried in a while. Duck meat with bee hoon is a great combination. Will drop by for their dim sum soon
Very nice food at this cantonese restaurant. Good service and value for money. The 龙虎班 was excellent and very reasonable price.
Celebrated my mum’s birthday and the restaurant wow-ed me in so many ways.
Due to the large turnout on the weekend, the server informed us that the dishes will take longer to serve. But it did not take that long either (first dish was out in about 10 mins which is fine for me btw).
Each dish was really good and the service was excellent (not the haidilao wait on you hand and foot kind but the warm Chinese restaurant kind). In the end they even presented us with nice longevity buns which were not sweet and gelard.
Overall an excellent experience! Would totally come back again!
My family recently dined at this restaurant to celebrate my birthday and we had an outstanding experience! The food was absolutely delicious and we enjoyed every dish. But what truly elevated our visit was the exceptional service provided by waitress Wendy. Her attentiveness, friendly demeanor and exceptional service made the evening truly memorable. We appreciate her giving us a surprise free dessert. We will definitely be back!
good food.
price a bit ex but compensated by quality
can be a bit slow so make sure you are not in a rush
The food is very tasty and the environment is great! Perfect for parties and celebrating birthdays!
Recently in Jan 2023, went there and celebrated my Mum’s birthday. It was quite good.. considering the price and location.. though I would say that the shopping centre was abit to near to Little India.. haah..
Friendly and accommodating staff. Dim sum was ok, a few good dishes such as fried beef horfun 👍, beefballs, XO carrot cake. Thanks for complimentary dessert!
The restaurant has a retro look, which reminds me of such restaurants in earlier days. The food is tasty and very good. Service is very good, staff are attentive and polite. Prices are reasonable, given the current inflation.
Decent food, reasonable prices on the dishes. Just a small note, the timing between the serving of the dishes is a little long (could because we we there on new year eve and the restaurant had a full house).
Was there for a dinner with a group of 11 with a reservation for their private room (which comes with its own KTV system which was definitely a plus).
Stumble into this Cantonese restaurant by chance as the hamburger joint next door was closed.
Tried the dim sum and they were very good. The xiao long bao was especially tasty; there were so much juice in it! Better than Din Tai Fung.
Will come back another day to try their other dishes.
4.8 🌟 / $$.5 Basement carpark right under but slightly small n dim. Restaurant is decent size but well spaced out with tables for different group sizes. There's ktv music playing on-screen. Not sure if one is allowed to sing though. But then again, they do have two rooms for booking if you want (with minimum spending) where you can sing with guests to hearts content 😊. Food (dishes) on my first visit is quite good. Dim sum also not too bad (during 2nd visit). Service staff were very nice. Told me they even have live band on Wednesdays night! 😂 Overall a great experience and would definitely patronise again.
Delicious food and amazing service. Amazing good vibes
It is a hidden gem, and this is where the food outshines the location. If you do not know where to look, you would have overlooked the restaurant entirely.
The food is definitely worth the trip.
Good value, good foods 👌
They served some of the best Cantonese cuisines. The service is superb! We have a very pleasant dining -- very unforgettable!
Great service and great food! Great value. I loved the braised beef brisket and fried prawn balls with cereal.
The food is really awesome, taste is just perfect. Portion is generous. Service is prompt. Staff is attentive to guests' requests.
Highly recommended. The food is delicious and the waiters were friendly and helpful! It’s a nice Chinese restaurant especially for karaoke lover!
A very nice and cozy place for meal. Will definitely come back again. The Tim Sum is a must to try.
Authentic Cantonese dishes, very friendly service and attitude🥳
Love their dimsums as well
It's a very good place for gathering. The delicious food, affordable price, and pleasant music are all worth the price.
Good Cantonese cuisine. Little known place at jalan besar. Parking can be tricky.
The food was awesome and the service crew was friendly and helpful. Great for family dinner
Nice ambience with live band as well as nice good food! Must bring your family, colleagues and friends here!
The food are great. Table service are a bit slow though.
Good Cantonese fare. Many dishes to try and the service is excellent!
The food is yummy, good service by Ms Ira!

Enjoy the dinner with friends..

Feels like home. Food is great and the service staff are very friendly
