Reviews of Imperial Sky Pavilion 御天阁
The food here is delicious—light and full of flavor! Although there is a wait of about 45 minutes, it's definitely worth it. You'll have to decide for yourself if the wait is acceptable, but I found it worthwhile. The staff's attitude was exceptionally nice and kind, which added to the positive experience. Parking was available on Sunday, though the location is in an industrial area. Plus, the prices are very reasonable. I can't wait to return and try the noodles again; they were my favorite!
We ate a lot more than what i have in photos! Very happy with what we had and of the impeccable service too. Highly recommend planning a visit and we especially liked the dancing chicken, squid and stew pork bee hoon! Be back soon!
Food was good ☺️ the butter egg floss prawn was super unique! Crispy pork floss with salted egg flavour with crispy prawns 🤤
Fish was really soft as well. My favourite was the homemade tofu, it gets better as you eat more ☺️
9.5/10 no notes. This is Malaysian style rather than Singapore style zichar, wokhey is there and portions are generous. Really enjoyed every dish we ordered. We got the luo han guo as a drink (which they made in house themselves) and it was 真材实料, so hard to find these days.
Service was friendly and quick. Do not sleep on this place!!
Chanced upon this place for post-climbing dinner, about 30 minutes away from Fitbloc.
Not having reservations for saturday evening, we were informed, would usually be a terrible idea. But arriving late at 8pm allowed us a table, thanks to the kind staff.
Indeed the place was small, in a homely manner. Dinner was fried rice, claypot pork, claypot dancing chicken, four heavenly kings veg, clam soup, specialty tofu and orh nee.
Everything was excellent! In particular, their claypot dancing chicken (who knew bonito flakes go so well with sweetened soy sauce) and clam soup (lightly herbal, clear and delightful).
For 5 pax, the bill was $137. Incredibly reasonable for the amount of food.
Fantastic food & reasonable prices. Friendly boss and staff, highly recommended and definitely will come back!!
A friend told us about this new place that opened up in Pasir Panjang area. We decided to try their take-out da bao and this place is indeed a hidden gem! Chef and owner are both experts with seafood, freshness in their imports guaranteed. we tried the green-eye squid and really did not disappoint. the other star of this place has to be the pork bee hoon - it was still moist yet we can taste the wok-hey, despite it being da-bao'ed. will definitely dine-in to try their steam fish next time. number of tables are limited, owner highly encouraged us to call ahead to book.
Tonight was the 2nd dinner visit there. Didn't take photos of the 9 dishes we ordered but they were scrumptious. Favourites - grilled squid, crayfish & claypot chicken. Flavours are unique and certainly a must try! Over & above all, the service & attentiveness from Leon is impeccable!
Nice food at affordable pricing. Good wok hei.
Must try!!!
Handmade tofu (tofu is super soft with generous caipo over it)
Lala soup ( generous amount of lala and savoury soup with wine taste)
Dishes are fresh and delicious, not too salty. Highly recommend to order their signature dishes like Imperial Special Grilled Squid, Imperial Claypot Dancing Chicken, Imperial Fried Stew Pork Bee Hoon and Imperial Fried Tofu. The boss and staff are friendly. Definitely will come back again.
wide spread of Malaysia style dishes, definitely worth and will come back again! Nice!
very well cooked and comforting food. easy parking directly outside the store. everything was cooked to perfection and not salty nor oily at all. we finished everything and everyone had nothing but praises for the food. ask for off-menu / preorder food when doing reservations :)
It's a happy dining experience at Imperial Sky Pavilion. Their Imperial Claypot Dancing Chicken is very flavourful with authentic Mersing old home taste. This goes the same for their Imperial Fried Tofu, Imperial Special Grilled Squid are cooked to perfection.
Don't expect fine dining ambience in this comfy homely establishment.
Front of house very friendly and knowledgeable - recommended several dishes which are hits. Can't fault any dish we ordered and loved the cai po tofu (every table ordered) and imperial chicken. Abit out of the way but totally worth the trip.
Jiayou and we will be back again soon!
Small cosy restaurant with plenty of car park lots. Dishes served in generous portions, are delicious and affordable. Staff are friendly and responsive
Brought my mum, MIL, helper and son for dinner. My Little one ate 2 servings of rice and still asked for more! The lala soup was divine! Simply fresh and so delicious. The plates were cleaned.
Great food. Every dish served is yummy. Price reasonable. Highly recommended.
Very unique menu. Portion is very generous.
Tofu is gone the moment it is served. Silly and smooth.
BBQ squid is fantastically delicious especially eat whole is it freshly serve, still hot from BBQ.
Kangkong is super fresh with crunch. Done it with just enough spice.
Pork mee hoon is just like home cook.
Will come back again to complete try the rest.
If you're an angler, you know the highlight of any fishing trip in Malaysia, whether or not you get a good catch, you always look forward to that delicious zhi char meal at the end of the trip. Imperial Sky Pavilion has that same homey deliciousness that is so addictive.
Must try Dishes include the Grilled Sotong, Lala Soup (5 Stars for this dish alone), Pork Belly Beehoon, and the classic Hong Kong Style Steamed Fish.
Convenient parking too!
Awesome and delicious food ! Friendly staff and boss is a nice guy! Will definitely return to try other dishes !
Good food and good ambience. The food is well presented. Highly recommended and a must try for those want to try new food joints! Dancing chicken and fish are my favourites. Must try!!
On point. All rounder. Love it
Fantastic. Highly recommended!
Fresh and delicious 😋
Good stuff, cannot bluff.. squid is awesome
Fantastic food served. Value for money!!! Will definitely come back
Delicious food & great service 🤙🤙🤙🤙
Good are tasty.
We get to indulge in 100% Malaysian Chinese cuisine without having to drive into Malaysia!
The Nonya Steam fish especially, definitely can’t get this type of taste elsewhere. The taste brings back wonderful memories when I frequently embark on road trips food tour to Kuala Lumpur and Pataling Jaya.
Best kangkung belacan we had in Singapore. Grilled squid is fresh and we couldn't stop eating. Pork beehun reminds me of home. There is a bit of waiting time for the food to be served, understandable as it is run by a small team.
Egg shredded shrimp recommended
Braised Pork Rice Noodles Recommended
Best to make a reservation first
It’s best to arrive early for parking
