1st time at this outlet. Lucky i asked - was about to order the 300g N.Zealand Silver Fern Premium at $46. Turns out they have a promo whereby you order 200g and add $5+, upgrade to 300g. This should be shared to me earlier. Only said when i waa about to 'downgrade' my steak den she ohhh, actually we have.......... Anyways not too bad service and steak was good as always. Service by staff was really good, but food wise I have chosen is just... soso? Perhaps the steaks are the main star of iSteak, hence the ones I've chosen aren't as good? The French onion soup was tad bit too salty for my preference, came across more as a gravy than soup. The burger was pretty okay, rather flaky patty and seasoned in a way it tasted abit more of chinese meat-loaf? The chicken was pretty good and sides were good too. Just portion wise rather small. Do come earlier to get queue number when you visit!

We had lamb shoulder and pork burger. The grill lamb shoulder is juicy and delicious. However, the burger has room for improvement, such as the sauces, the bread, etc... The grill pork patty is great though. I would recommend to try their grill sets, like the beef, pork, lamb, chicken or fish, as the grill sets are their flagship products. The chicken, fish amd pork grill sets are definitely some of the best in town. Besides, the grill sets come with two sides and the sides are simply tasty. Usually, I love to include the yummy fries plus one vegetable as sides.

Isteaks has a wide range of side dishes to choose from. Not just your average fries/onion rings but sides that are innovative and appealing like parmesan asparagus, garlic butter eggplant, crunchy potato salad and spinach and sesame salad, etc. Add-on egg and mushrooms for $1 each. A typical chicken chop w 2 side dish cost $10.50. The meat is well marinated, juicy and tender. The sauce and salad dressings are tasty, you can tell there is effort in preparing these. What a delightful meal and definitely friendly to your wallet.

Went with friends, had chicken while friends had the NZ ribeye. I’d say its quite worth it (nett prices!) for steaks which were juicy and the doneness was adequate. Grilled Chicken was rather juicy too. Sides felt a tad small in size for the price but i liked the variety. Staff were polite though layout of restaurant particularly the cashier felt tight when a queue forms as it was just next to the door.

Staff is friendly, good ambience where you can choose inside or outside sitting. Most importantly their steaks are cooked to almost perfection, sides are generous. Highly recommend to try their eggplants as side, wide choices of steak cuts from 150g to 450g and you can order a bigger cut for more than 3 pax. Overall good dining experience and highly recommended for friends, family and couples.

I got the poultry char grilled so it's a pretty safe option as compared to its beef counterpart which requires more attention to how cooked it is. Sauces and the meal were pretty tasty. Every meal came with 2 complimentary sides which i chose onion rings and buttered corn which were also tasty. Ice water was charged 50¢ per person and the service staff were very attentive and friendly, always refilling our cups when it was empty. The only thing about this outlet was that the air conditioned area was still quite warm, otherwise seating was quite spaced out and you can come with a group of friends and chat to your hearts content.

Ordered a grilled pork and was surprised at the price and the quality of it. As for the sides, I had the buttered corn and grilled asparagus which were both decent. Total price for this dish is $13.90. Missing one star due to the small establishment and I had to sit outside which was not the most comfortable.

Serving size getting smaller and smaller over the years but taste is still consistently good. Alot of sides to choose from but didn’t quite like the Brussel sprouts.

Affordable and great steak from trusty isteaks. Service was prompt and staff were friendly. Do note that we had to take a queue number to wait for seats. Wait time was around an hour for a party of 5 on a Tuesday evening.

250g steak options no longer available. So sad. Only the 200g (not steakhouse char) and 300g portions and above. Used to be our go-to for reliably decent steak at reasonable prices. But now with this change might look elsewhere especially since the price per person goes up based on the above. Asparagus was really overcooked and limp too. :(

Wow! Honestly, pleasantly surprised. I thought it was going to be a standard mass chain but the quality and the price really surprised me. It is such great value for what you are getting. I recommend the 200g ribeye for 18+ dollars. I'm not a big eater so it was honestly one of the best steaks I've had at that price! Highly recommended.

Excellent value for your money. Steak cook and rested to the done of your choice. A fantastic piece of meat that is juicy and flavourful. Crust could be crispier and smoky but overall good charring. Many side dishes selections. Seating are cramp and expect a long queue. But it's worth the wait. Good job.

Food was mediocre. I had tasted better steak flavour profile for a similar price at another food establishment. Staff(Lida) was very friendly and accommodating to all of my peculiar requests and our server(Daphne) showed up very fast with my chow. Will perhaps not come back again unless I'm in the district and longing for some steak.

Disappointing that they did away with the QR ordering system. Taking two steps back in tech advancement. Because of this, firstly it took a long time for the waitress to attend to me because she was busy taking orders for another table. Secondly, she took my order wrongly which I only discovered after checking the receipt 10 minutes later. This caused my order to be further pushed back by 10 minutes. Waiters seemed extremely busy trying to cope. Heard one waiter saying to another waiter not to seat patrons queuing outside despite there being enough seats inside. Said they aren’t able to cope with the demand.

iSteak was previously in Holland Village, then they moved to Star Vista shopping mall. Just recently I visited this branch and they had a promotion to upgrade your steak for 3 dollar from 250 gram steak to 350 gram. The steak was really delicious and you can get two side dishes which you can choose. Try the broccoli and the coleslaw as side. The price of the steak was not too expensive. I definitely would recommend this place..

The food is good, the service is great. This is the first time we are looking through the menu and the service staff is very knowledgeable on their food items, from the meat to the sides and even the sauces. We are really amazed by that. We tried the teh and kopi as it's really interesting to see an eatery serving western food but serves traditional nanyang coffee and tea. They even have nitro coffee. The kopi and teh is a bit watered down if you are expecting for those you find in those old school coffeeshop this is not it, but I should say the taste is still better than some of those chain coffeeshop on this island. Overall the experience is really great here, highly recommended this place.

Love their chicken, fish and chips and pork chops and Striploin steak. Queue can be a bit long during peak periods but they have a sms/phone system where you put your number and you can run errands at Star. We always go there for late dinner and their last order is at 10pm. They also serve alcohol and accept credit cards. But you have to pay for water, it is not free. Please offer bacon bits for your baked potato!

Don't understand the 5-star raves at all. The food is OK but the ambience is whack. Horrible fluorescent and cheap table and chairs squeezed close together like a fast food place. Sides are all average. Definitely not the best steak place anywhere, not the West, not anywhere.

They hv upgraded their restaurant here n we like it! Their chairs hv been changed to more comfortable ones n we like the safe distancing positions of the tables.
