Staff were attentive and proactive, especially Shiva, who saw us deliberating over certain items and offered us the relevant menu with photos for all of these items on the same page. Kudos to him for the pleasant experience we had. Food was good for its given price point, especially the chicken. One down side was that the cake and ice cream were just so-so only.

First visit to Jack’s Place Jewel. Their food is above average. We like the baked meatball and the grilled chicken. Set lunch around $15 is a pretty good deal. But ice cream served partially melted. Surprisingly their service is below par. Sxxxxl and Rxx both took my plate away without knowing I am not done. Both look senior staff. They dont look like keen in serving me for some reason. Hope the management see this and improve their service. It is at Jewel afterall.

The famous baked potato alone is worth coming to Jack’s Place. My little girl loves getting loads of toppings on them. The staff are friendly and thoughtful. They saw my girl asking for her brother’s steamed carrots and brought a little bowl of veggies just for her! Love how kid friendly this restaurant is too, with the awesome kids’ meal options.

First time to this outlet, but not the first time dine-in at for their steak. It has been always cosy & satisfying to dine-in at their original outlet at Ang Mo Kio. Also been to other outlets at Nex & Bras Basah. Thks to the staff who arranged a table for me at Jewel outlet. Didn't wait for long, just walk-in. The staff also recommend red wine to me. Cheers~

Food at Jack's Place is okay. Not something super premium but it'll do! Kinda just comforting and nostalgic for me since I've been eating here since childhood. Nothing to shout about but also nothing to complain? Service was a little slow, not sure if it's cause I went a little early to avoid the dinner crowd.

Went early on the public holiday to beat the dinner crowd. Thankfully we got one of the last few seats, and we were seated just beside the open area. It was very relaxing to hear the fountain sounds and see the greenery, but do be aware of the random leaves that will drop onto your table or worse case, food, from the tree above. As it was a public holiday (Chinese New Year), we were given a menu to select our food. However, the staff did not see fit to inform us that they are operating on a slimmed down menu, with slight increased prices, and the QR code for the menu on the table should not be used as that is a regular menu. I was not the only customer who got confused as there was another customer who was questioning the staff upon payment too. Pretty odd way of being a service staff. Food was ok, but as it was a pared down menu and I do not consume beef, I was pretty much left with only chicken or fish n chips. I ordered fish n chips as kids would like fries. Fish and chips was decent. It was a breaded fish n chips, not the battered fish n chips. Fish was quite fresh. A family member had the chicken chop. IMHO, I don’t think it was done well. Chicken looked pale. Like it was pre cooked and just left at the side to be placed on the heated metal plate n to come out sizzling. The potato looked amazing though. Still liked the traditional way of staff offering sour cream, bacon bits n spring onion for the potato. We do have to request for butter for our potato though. All in, the service was ok. Staff gave me serviettes the very moment I asked for it. But cashier wasn’t v knowledgeable of the mall promotions. My bill hit above $150, but the staff did not bother to inform me that I could get a $10 return voucher if I use a Citibank card. So we lost out on this deal. The mall should at the very least leave a placard for every store’s counter, for the customers to be aware of the deal.

Wanted to give one star. But the outlet manager apologised to us so I gave two more stars for the manager service. 1) We wasn’t informed that all our meal are out of bake potatoes. We were served mash potatoes, if we to know that they are out of bake potatoes I will not stay for the food as my mother in law and kids came here for it. The manager came over and explain that his staff missed out on tables to informed n etc. 2) We ordered a medium well fire steak. It came over cooked. I only realise it was too dried after getting a bite and theres not “fire” which they will lit up before serving to you. Again the manager came and apologise to me. And brought it back to the kitchen and served me a new dish. The manager did try to rectify the problems. But it was really a awful experience at this outlet. We never experience this type of issues before at our usual outlets. And the queue was seriously long even theres quite a number of unused empty tables. And we waited almost an hour for our food to be serve.

T-bone steak taste good and was perfectly cooked. But not trimmed. Too much fat. And much strings. Feels like work when try to cut it. Wonder where thy cut that steak. Need very sharp knife if take that steak. But very nice pkace and will go again. But not take that steak.

Love the Jack’s Place here as it’s over looking the waterfall.. food is reasonable priced.. steak is great as usual.. they never lower down their standards. Manager is very attentive and service is great! Will come back again :)

I have been going to Jack's Place since I was a kid and now at 50 years old, I'm still a happy diner at one of the finest Hainanese style Western Food Restaurant in SG. Love the ambience and of course the soups, garlic bread , baked potato and of course the great Ribeye and Tenderloin steaks! And even the chilli sauce like got special sauce inside...hahaha Special mention Manager REX who had served us 15 years since Tampines Century Sq, Simei EastPoint, Parkway and now Changi Jewel! What a gem of a manager! He really connects with the customers and always friendly and professional in his service. With all the competing local western food restaurants, nothing comes close to Jack's Place. Jack's is not the cheapest but Price is not just the only way to attract customers. Gotta keep coming back to Jack's ... its a great home to my family and me.

This restaurant has good staff. They're kind and they anticipate your needs. I was able to enjoy the good food even more because of them. Go here if you need a good food after a long flight!

Attentive service from Manager Resh, who asked me to come in sit and take orders. He even helped put baked potato fillings for me when the other waiter forgot it. It was a pleasant experience, and sizzling chicken steak was delicious, served with vanilla ice cream and coffee with milk! It was free thanks to a meal voucher :)

Lovely restaurant with a view of the waterfall. Food is delicious and staff are wonderfully friendly! The senior staff member asked to take a photo of our family without even us having to ask. So lovely. Definitely recommend!

Restaurant had a relaxing vibe, with partial view of the Sky Vortex. On the other hand, food was rather slow to be served and my mom's prawns were way-overcooked. (The staff did immediately change the dish once we complained, though). The Chimichurri Tenderloin I myself had was overall, tangy and succulent.

Was a little skeptical because of the reviews, but surprisingly the experience was great! I would highly recommend their signature chicken, it was really tender and flavoured. Their curly fries taste really scrumptious and crispy, but tastes better with some tomato ketchup. The views are more of a foresty scene but you can still catch glimpses of the vortex. If you’re looking for decent western food with desserts in a quiet, lowlight space, this place is for you 😁 ps. the chicken in the photo attached is half eaten… i forgot to take a picture before that 😅

Definitely loved this eatery thus far the restaurant ambience here like never been or seen before and also just come get together gathering with my parent/family, my sister, husband of one's wife, siblings's daughter, get dine in here today for my younger brother's as his pre-birthday treat celebration and dinner. For me, I desire to try tasting the choose from the menu for distinctive Triple Meat Grill, which comes with Aglio Olio excess dry chili on it and it taste completely tangy and a carbonated soft drink of Sprite partake together with my mum the components that I only eat sausage with cheese, grilled chicken, but the chicken is barely with a rough cut into pieces and eat. Thus, despite that, it's all right. Sitting next to me is my mum, including my younger brother. Ourselves three picks preference is like as mine.

Food was ordinary - we had the set lunch and while it was alright, the service was really slow. I had to ask twice for my drink, and everytime had to call the staff a few times before we got their attention. The dessert that came with the set lunch were just mini muffins (1 each) so that was quite disappointing too.

Waited for the food from 7.45pm to 9pm. Manager was the saving grace of this outlet, the food was acceptable, but I wouldn’t recommended. So many other restaurants in Jewel.

Went for JP tenderloin night and I had a good meal. The sizzling tenderloin was medium rare as ordered and i enjoyed the potato (with toppings of coz). The coffee was so so. Service was excellent from the manager, Rex, as he accomodated to our request to be sitted near the Rain Vortex.

Pleasant experience dining at Jewel's Jack Place. One of the longest standing western food joint in Singapore, nothing much could go wrong having a meal here. Enjoyed the mixed grill thoroughly, the combination of meat along with the side dishes was very filling satisfying. It being on the higher floors meant that it is away from the bulk of the crowd at Jewel. Will definitely be a dining choice the next time we wanna avoid the crowd! :)

Jack's place has not only remained consistent over the years but has managed to innovate to stay competitive even with many new restaurants. The inside tables have a nice view of the gardens so do try to get those seats. The lunch sets are a good deal but of course do try the hot plates and grills which are always a delight.

Great place. Decent food and portions. Erdinger beer came almost lukewarm with almost no froth. We ordered 1 fish and I chicken cutlet. Asked for a little extra dressing halfway through and were told "this one have to pay". The little extra would have gone a long way with customer satisfaction. Waiters were polite but no pull to come back.

We had lunch here as a group of 8 on 11 Apr and the service was impeccable. The staff and in particular, Alenz, was very attentive and he even went the extra mile and asked if we wanted a group picture and a video! The food portions were huge and dessert was delicious. I went to this spot near Changi Airport and Jewel with some friends recently. The food was really great - definitely some of the best I've had. And the service was top-notch too, the staff was super friendly. I'll have to go back again soon, it's perfect if you're looking for a good meal when you're at the airport or checking out Jewel.

Me and my wife were at the Jack’s place jewel outlet today(30/12). We reached the restaurant only at 9.25pm but the manager was kind enough to let us dine in. He was spontaneous in taking orders and even suggested us to get the combo. I was coming after a flight so was tired and he even offered warm water for me. We were well served and taken care of by Rex as well his team of service crew which includes: Alex, Alan, Sachin,Arya. Kudos to them, even so late at night their spirits weren’t dampened. Definitely highly recommended.
