Reviews of Jade Palace Seafood Restaurant
Enjoy Chinese food with fresh ingredients...so delicious 😋 🦀
This is old school recipes ...yummy tongue (a must order) and cartilage (of course!) to nom on while u sip your wino ($20 corkage 750ml) They have decanters if u wish to use them. Staff are experienced and efficient. Always a great visit here.
Came back here 5yrs later to try their dim sum. Very fine, well executed dim sum dishes. Cheong fun skin was thin but not too flimsy. Siew Mai was packed with small prawns. Har gar also packed with prawns. Chive pawn dumplings were delicious. Unfortunately they didn't have wu kok when we went.
Ambience was a little noisy, but that sort of made it feel like an authentic dim sum place.
Interesting dishes. Frog's leg with ginger chips was especially tasty. Steamed ma lai gao was perfect.
Got to be the best dim sum place out of all the places I've been to in my whole life. I have been to so called "top" dim sum restaurants in HKG, Singapore, Taiwan, Korea, Thailand and China so I think I know what I am talking about. I mean the gap isn't big, but it is by far, the most delicious dim sum restaurant in my book. If you are looking for delicious, authentic and good for money dim sum restaurant in Singapore, pay a visit and experience what this amazing restaurant can offer. Some must order dishes: Shao-long-bao, Hakao, Roasted pork belly(Char shiew), shumai, crispy noodles with seafood(Sunmien)
Located along orchard road. Quite convenient location. However, the car park was quite packed and the entrance to the car park was jammed. Thankfully, there was ample car park slots available nearby.
The variety of dim sum was quite a lot to choose from. Food was overall pleasant.
Service wise was attentive. And fast. Though the restaurant was considered crowded, the food still was served to us quite fast.
Loved the durian mochi dessert, quite delicious.
A great place to have dim sum.
Overall experience was good!
Great service and good cantonese food. Price is very reasonable. Cottage is free and portions are big. Great place for gathering and family dinner. Try the claypot rice, lala, chicken softbones, roast duck, and the fried pork neck.
Fried chicken cartilage was very good, we couldn’t get enough.
Century egg was also good, loved it.
Crab mee pok was tasty.
Salt and pepper pork ribs was so so.
Sio bak was good, char siew was ok, roast duck not really good but acceptable.
Service was friendly and helpful, very enjoyable.
Reasonable corkage fees.
Overall pleasant dining experience, good food but rather pricey.
Food is wonderful. If you are game, try the lobster sashimi. (In my personal opinion, uncooked lobster is quite bland with little flavour. But you may like it.) Other dishes were very very good - Chinese “cold” starter, chicken rice with various confit meats, frog legs, beautifully glistening roast duck, etc etc.
Pretty good food but not cheap. Deep fried frog legs, chicken cartilage, bamboo shoots, toufu with Fish paste, claypot rice are the popular dishes here. Can get a bit noisy outside if u want the atmosphere of a busy restaurant. it's always crowded. Pte rooms available.
Food service stopped for a long duration (we had this meal a week before mothers day on 4th May evening). All the food was delightful and service was good but the dishes taking so long to come out due to many orders from other tables was not ideal for our table of 10. Other tables of 2-4 finished quicker. Frog legs was a favourite.
The food tastes good, the seafood is quite fresh, the dishes are a bit pricey, but the alcohol is relatively cheap.
Was rather disappointed ed by the standard of food served. A definite dip from my last visit but however service remains top notch
Best lamb yuba soup
The quality of the food and service remains good. We dined with a regular and he was able to preorder some special dishes. This was a Sake dinner so mostly fish dishes.
2nd time here. This time I ordered roast pork, some vegetables dumplings, frog porridge, pan fried carrot cake, glutinous rice wrapped in lotus leaf and many more (only items from dim sum menu). Carrot cake was fragrant and pan fried to perfection. Roast pork had crispy skin and paired well with mustard sauce. Some of the frog meat inside the porridge felt overcooked though. Staff were friendly and attended to our requests promptly, however the last time I came they were rather unresponsive as the restaurant was full house (can't be helped since they are shorthanded). Atmosphere wise wasn't good at all if I were to be honest - there was a group of customers from China speaking loudly but none of the staff told them to lower down their volume. Food was pricey but I guess I wouldn't mind paying these kind of prices once in a while for the good standard of food served. Looking forward to the next visit to try the dish recommended to me by the staff (fried frog meat and claypot rice).
Wonderful food and service and excellent selection of reasonably priced wines. Must try the fried bamboo shoots, lamb claypot, beef and radish soup.
Food is good but service slow. Might be due to the weekend crowd.
Expensive, taste wise acceptable. No thrills, no frills. Service was overly friendly, they're always hovering nearby.
Very unique dishes paired nicely with matching wine. I was here with a friend who is a regular, and now I know why.
Can't go past an evening with great food and wine enjoyed with great mates, will be back next time I'm back in Singapore.
Personally I really like the durian mochi and the duck noodles. Recommended 👍🏻
Always good! Clay put rice and roast duck amongst the best in class
For the price, I really feel that the food is nothing great. Char siew (with fat) and roasted meat is just ok, nothing exceptional. Service is subpar
Fantastic establishment with very fine dishes. Authentic and tasty. The staff are very diligent and I even managed to coakse a smile out of them. Brilliant dining spot with private rooms for customers looking for a nice secluded group meal.
Besides the good food
He has a great selection of wines at good price
Superb dining experience and excellent staff services. Food is very delicious and a good variety of wines for selection. Strongly recommend to people!
Food here is extra-ordinary exquisit👍🏼,you may bring ur own Wine and they treated ur wine with care & proffessionalism.....on top of that,No corkcage being charged👍🏼👍👍🏽
Try the Sausage on rice(take 45 minutes to prepare, mabe advisable to order One day in advance). This dish originated from Hongkong & popular in the Winter months,is only available in this resto ❗
From a scale of 1 to 10, I gave Jade Palace a 9 (nine).
Very tasty claypot rice and the bal was stirred n served with soup. Roasted duck with crispy skin. Timsum good. Place a bit dated.v
extremely expensive restuarant, the cha siew bao is nice but not worth the price. Chinese tea alone cost $4 per pax excluding service charge and GST.
Seriously the best meal I had in Singapore. Dim sum was phenomenal and Peking duck was to die for. I will definitely come back
So far one of the best dim sum place in SG, authentic HK taste dim sum! Will definitely come back and try other dishes!
Great service and love that they don't charge for corkage. Food was great too, just that claypot rice was below average - too bland.
Good Ford, good experience. Workers were polite and helpfull.
Superb food and attention to detail service. One of the best Chinese restaurant in Singapore. This restaurant deserved Michelin star rating.
Consistently good service. Possibly the best cantonese dim sum and dishes in Singapore.
Great customer service, good quality food. Won't go wrong.
Great Yum Cha
Must try the fried frog's legs ❤️
Highly recommended. Good cantonese cuisine. Good for both dim sum lunch and dinner.
Had the dimsum menu for lunch, quite good although commensurate with the price.
Superb dining experience
Good food and good service. Will go again for family dinner.
The food as always is good and the service too
Always consistent and good Chinese cuisine.
The rice claypot and fried pork was awesome.
Good food and service, embiance is so so
Good food
I went shopping on Orchard Road and tried this Michelin-recommended Jinhu Seafood Restaurant, and I liked it very much. The lunch set costs NT$48 per person and you can have lobster tail stuffed noodles. The ingredients are fresh, the meat is plump and elastic, and the sweet and fresh taste is so wonderful that you can finish it with the noodles. The red bean and pork ribs soup is delicious and smooth. The fried shrimp dumplings were surprisingly delicious, the shrimp filling was fresh and crispy, there was even soup in the dumplings, and even the leeks didn't look disgusting. When I came to Singapore, I discovered that pink fruits are also delicious. The lean diced pork has the kind of stir-fried wok flavor, and there are some fillings that are crispy and resemble water chestnuts. The siu-mei double combo includes fragrant and smooth soy sauce chicken and stable barbecued pork. Yangzhi Ganlu is sweet and the mango flavor is very prominent. Guiling paste is the most delicious hot Guiling paste I have ever tasted. The traditional Chinese medicine taste is very roundabout, and the sweetness is very obvious. Even if it is hot, it can relieve the heat.
An authentic Hong Kong-style restaurant suitable for parties or important occasions. The signature pepper crab is very tender, the ingredients are fresh, and the service quality is good. I will recommend friends to come again.
The steamed fish is really impressive. It tastes basically the same as what I had in Guangdong, which is very rare in the local area. The rest of the dishes are also quite commendable. The roasted squab, sweet and sour pork, and wolfberry leaves in soup are all excellent. The only drawback is that the price is too high. A bowl of claypot rice for five people each (the performance was average that night and not quite to the taste). The ingredients were sausages and frogs. The asking price was 88++, which was a bit more than expected.
Remote but nice
