Cozy Malaysian outlet that sells nasi lemak and an assortment of dishes. The Rendang meat is soft and peels off easily, but the coconut rice was undercooked. Can feel its grainy texture which was a letdown. The fish head curry is good and tasty with loads of veggie in it but the scales on the fish was not completely removed. Overall, service is good and dishes can be slightly pricey versus portion. Good to come in large group for celebratory affair as they have large tables to accommodate large groups.

Chance upon this jia xiang nasi lemak , its so delicious 😃 . I tried the anyam penye it’s crispy on their outside , inside is tender . the extra sauces just complement with it . Hubby tried the redang it’s Flavorful and soft . The prawns 🍤 is also delightful . Lastly we ended our food with the chendol. It’s just so satisfying . Will definitely come back again to try the curry chicken .

1st time trying this place. On the whole, the rendang Nasi lemak is good, curry fish head is above average, Toufu is very nice , but the chicken lollipop is just so-so. The curry fish head has lots of meat and vegetables, so quite worth it for price of $28. The taste of rendang Nasi lemak is flavourful too.

Enjoy Malaysia style lemak curry fish head, fried crispy salted egg soft shell crab and yummy chendol😘. Saw the rendang lamb shank in other table, looks so seductive😋 must try. 👍

Overall, a fairly wonderful plate of nasi lemak with all components done well. The chicken/ pork are freshly fried and the sides are kept fresh and crispy. The pork belly nasi lemak is my personal favourite. Although some wait time is required, the staff are friendly and takes the initiative to give us heads up before we order.

Came across this place with my friend a few days back while looking for something to have for lunch. I ordered the prawn paste chicken nasi lemak. The prawn paste chicken was crispy and goes well with the fragrant rice. I would love to come back and try the curry fish head!

Condo did a groupbuy and the food was pretty good. Portions were generous, and we loved the rice, with the fragrant lemak. The har cheong chicken was also tasty, while the rendang chicken was okay. The chilli was a little sweet, while the ikan bilis and nuts were fresh.

Eating in my hometown brings back memories of warm weekend days with my grandma in the old kampongs. When I was young, our family was a veritable attap house, and the country was not as commercialized as it is today. Even though food is often in short supply, one ingredient our family can always enjoy is fish heads! Since my grandma always cooks fish heads in hot and spicy curry soup, to this day, whenever I serve this dish, it immediately reminds me of her. . Indeed, the curry fish head from my hometown really tastes like home! In the past, during major festivals, grandma used to roll traditional shrimp dates with homemade shrimp fillings and various seasonings. Even though the recipe has been passed down, I don’t have to bother making this dish because my hometown version is enough to remind me of the taste of my grandma’s shrimp and dates. I vaguely remember that my grandma also cooked rendang chicken on the stove many times - I have always loved this side dish that grandma specially made to add flavor to the nasi lemak! Every time I take the first bite, paired with her home-brewed Luo Han Guo tea, I can't help but smile. This trip to my hometown can also be said to be a trip down memory lane.
