Had a cheeky pint on a hot Saturday afternoon and the place provided a good range of beers and a rather cool dining area. The place prefers cashless payment.

I highly recommend to try here. The location is central, right at the MRT Sommerset and located at the famous small food street. The menu varies different price ranges from soft drink around 5 to beer around 1x. Food is also similar from 5 to 3x. Quality is good Their service is absolutely excellent

Glad that I found this daily lunch offer set place. There’s set lunch from $13.90++ but the cheapest one is veggie croquettes with curry. Meat options from $15.50++ onwards but there’s many options from tempura tendon rice, ebi fry with curry rice, karaage chicken or pork Katsu cutlet with curry rice, yakitori grilled chicken skewer rice etc. the set lunches come with ice green tea drink (but it’s a bit watered down, can be more concentrated), a small potato salad, a small cold tofu with sesame dressing & hot miso soup (I like that it was piping hot unlike some restaurants it’s lukewarm) and the soup has good amount of ingredients like fried tofu, white soft tofu & seaweed. Ordering is easy by scanning QR and linking to the order website. The staff are friendly and prompt. Payment is easy as it’s cashless and the staff brings the cashier machine to you. The location is outdoors al fresco along the walkway outside 313 but it wasn’t hot as there’s a giant fan above. On the whole I was happy to eat there and the food was good plus portion size was sufficient for me. Wouldn’t mind going again.

Set lunch prices daily from 12-3pm with some great options Opted for non set lunch which was a mini bowl of bara chirashi. Portion maybe a bit small for big eaters but was just looking for light lunch & this is just nice. Had it paired with a bottle of sparkling sake which made it even more nicer Love the chill vibes of the place & it was nice to be dining alfresco with natural wind blowing A note of warning though, the winds are pretty strong Service nice & friendly. Option to order from qr codes scanning or as they stated, option to order from human is available as well..

The food here's pretty good, particularly the skewers... The location is fantastic, it's at 313 right by Somerset MRT, great for people watching! The craft beer selection's just okay though, but there IS a pretty large variety on tap, and also it's not as if there is a lot of choices in the area.

25 taps availavle & happy hours all day until 8pm. Ada craft beers frm Japan, Scotland, USA, Korea, Denmark, Hong Kong, England, Australia & Canada now 🍻🍻🍻 Happy hour until 8pm..mestilah chill chill. Oh yea, they also hv a TV menu that shows live updates of the recent Untappd check-ins for their beers. Pretty co0l.... my 1st time seeing something like tis...Awesome 🤩🤩🤩🍻🍻🍻

Service is very slow despite many empty tables. When we got there, the waitress, without expression said 'Sit anywhere.' - certaintly need lots of training. We shrugged it of because they look really young and thus may not have experienced. Waited 45mins for simple pasta and kids meal, and our drinks weren't served but charged and we have to take it to go in the end. The pasta itself is regular, nothing to shout about. A table of about 10pax or so came and their service was really fast, both waitresses tend to the single table, we saw one of the patron comfortably taking glasses herself behind the bar and cashier, likely one of the owner or bosses. Not going back there

Great experience as usual at Jibiru. Was there just for food but i know they have a great selection of beers as well. The food though was amazing. Ordered yakitori salad, agedashi tofu, edamame, tsukune and iberico pork skewers. Loved everything except for the pork skewers, was just too fatty and greasy for my personal liking. Great place just to chill, crowdwatch, hang out with friends over good food and beer!

Sorry I didn't get your name and shout-out to my guy for the service and candidness and allowing us to change our seats yesterday. Ordered the Mosaic Beer Jio and the lady ordered the Sapporo (why? ikr!). Skewers are tasty. I'm also pleasantly surprised Untappd app is used here. If only the beers could be less foamy. Amazing outdoor place when the weather is nice and not too warm. From your "regular customer". Cheers!

Loved this spot for a beer and snack. Really reasonably priced pints on draft. Great craft beer, lots of unique Japanese staples. Also, SO close to the MRT so you can wait till last call before jumping home. In the heart of the action at 313 Somerset but conveniently outside the building. Get there now - chilled vibe and quite fun.

The food was nice and the ambience was great. However, the craft beers were just decent compared to other craft bars in town. Celebrated my birthday here and they allowed us to eat outside food which I find very nice.

Lots of beers on tap but I don’t think all were available at the same time. Need to scan QR code to access types of beer and their prices in real time. These were also shown on two TV screens but the text were so tiny. Prices were on the high side even during Happy Hour (before 8pm, I think) but justifiable for the location (it’s Orchard!). Yakitori was pretty good but the fried skewers (only on Mondays) were quite bad. Staff was friendly and attentive. Good place to catch up with friends or people watch.

Jibiru is a nondescript bar located on the way into 313. Their excellent selection of craft beer and delicious izakaya snacks make it an excellent place to wait for friends, chill on a weekend or a sneaky post work drink. Not to mention their staff are lovely!! Recommended.

Small little place at the Somerset that will surprise you by its amazing selection of beers in the menu. Food items were amazing. Staff is very friendly and accommodated us without prebooking. However, it is advisable to pre-book as the place is quite busy.

Watch out for birds. As you're people watching along the busy street, sipping on craft beers a.d snacking on great food, don't forget that you're being watched too. We ordered a variety of dishes, yakitories and ubon. Everything was great, a little on the saltier side (must try their Takowasa, raw octopus with a mild wasabi sauce, fantastic!!!), while that pairs well if you're drinking, it's a bit much after a while if you're not. Wide selection of craft beers and whiskies, and the staff are responsive, friendly and helpful. 8/10 will go back again since my favorite yakitori place (Koh's grill) have closed since.

Came back for a visit after close to 8 years and was disappointed to find out that my usual waiter/waitresses were no longer there. The food is good as usual but the atmosphere is different. The people working there no longer smile and even if they do, it looks very forced. Unfriendly and clueless about what they are selling. When asked what is recommended, they seem puzzled. I think they should learn from the previous few employees of the place on better service and know their stuff. Shoutout to the bartender, and the waiter with slightly curly hair and the waitress who is always working with them, putting on a smile. Even the manager who keeps us happy by making small talks with every table. They go the extra mile to make sure that our needs are provided and that is what a good service is. Giving a 3 star solely for the service last time and the food. As for the service staff currently, 1 star for you.

Haven’t visit JiBiru for some time but this time I’m deeply impressed with the excellent service I received from Dennis. He made recommendations, checked on us to see if everything was fine and even went the extra mile to highlight a payment promotion. He has a friendly disposition and it is employees like him that makes the dining experience an enjoyable one.

Come on guys, this is the easiest place for a quick lunch. The katsu don is great. The katsu curry is great. The Katsu everything is great... Service is super, quick and attentive as well. Open air, is excellent - it's respite from the office, and finally... and most important - the craft beers are damn delish!!

An amazing pub at 313@ Somerset. They have a wide collection of beers: both Asian and Western. The Japanese beers on offering are really good. I personally preferred the Hitashino White ale. They also have very good American and British IPA. On the food part, the yakitoris are really nice. I also recommend bacon wrapped tomatoes, bacon wrapped asparagus and barra, a crispy pork belly based dish. Ambience is quite nice, outdoor seating and prices are reasonable.

Pretty much the best craft beer bar you can find in Orchard area. Huge selection of Japanese beers with a weekly "guest tap" with a craft beer from other country. Specialised on street Japanese food as well, got a big selection of Yakitori. I love the Yakitori platter, very tasty and perfect to share with friends while you having your beer. Highly recommended!!!

Came on 8th March 2021, 915pm Ordered pork, chicken and grilled saba. Chicken and pork are well seasoned. Sauce is a bit overwhelming. Too bad yakitori only comes in pair Saba was averagely cooked and not seasoned at all. I had to ask for salt to flavour myself

🍢 This place catches the late afternoon sun just before sunset, perfect for that afterwork craft beer and izakaiya-style yakitori chicken and skewered tomatoes. Punk seems to always be on tap along with the Japanese "owl" craft beer, Hitachino Nest, and others from Kiuchi Brewery. Salads not so good.
